Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Basingstoke

Very cheerful with the childcare centre.
Our daughter loved it going there.
There is incredible team and management.
We would suggest it to anyone looking for a daycare childcare centre in the area as they really go beyond everything.

The childcare centre is easy to get hold off, seems to have excellent safeguarding practices in place and the team, regardless of room, seem to know each kid by name.
Our daughter developed a close bond with her key people and it was a comfort knowing that if she was upset she would go to them and seek them out for comfort and that it would be gladly given.
The only criticism I have of Kiddi Caru is its flexibility of extra hours/change of hours/additional days. As working parents, we need to be able to rely on childcare that works around our work. We requested a change of days within the requested 8-week notice and still has not been made over months later, which is difficult when trying to work without childcare. Our daughter joined the childcare centre in December 2020 and has been in two of the rooms with two different teams.
She certainly loved her time at Kiddi Caru, made lots of friends and benefitted from trying lots of new things: yoga, French and dancing.

Our son gets along with certain team members which is nice to see.
Meals could be better to satisfy every kid as most afternoons our kid will refuse his tea due to not liking the meal given. The outside playtime area is exceptional.
Updates could be a lot better, on just one situation they didn’t inform us “new to parenting” about getting a kid ready for school how and when. When questioned about this subject the childcare centre did not know the closing dates for application, applying, or how to go about this or any mentions of school! The team are nice enough.

My son’s development has come on leaps and bounds, including phonics and fine motor skills, they have done a remarkable job in readying him for school. The who preschool team did such an incredible job at organizing a graduation ceremony for the school leavers, I was in awe at how calm and well-behaved the kids were which is a credit to the manager and the team. Bravo to all the Kiddi Caru team and thank you. Kiddi Caru Childcare centre in Basingstoke is a fantastic childcare centre.

Two of them started off at the childcare centre roughly at about 8 months old. I am especially cheerful with the development my kids have made so far at childcare centre, and I look forward to the artwork my daughter brings back home. The team are engaging and compassionate. A special shout out to the team in the sweetpea room at the childcare centre who are very compassionate and you can see it reflected in the way they care for the kids. Generally, I am pleased with the childcare centre and will suggest it to any parent. The childcare centre ticked and is still ticking all the boxes for me – education, quality care, real-time updates to parents, consideration for the wellbeing of kids, and also security. I currently have three of my kids attending the childcare centre.

They are very supportive of special requirements for kids, with dietary requirements and also health care. This is when things needed like creams, whether that is normal cream or specialised prescription cream. My little one decided on which preschool to attend, and she absolutely loved being at Kiddi Caru. She loved all the activities and discovering about different things and playing outside. This preschool is incredible at helping when families are going through difficult situations, including separations. Absolutely remarkable childcare centre and preschool, they have an interest in the kids in their care.

The childcare centre has remarkable team who really care about the kids. The childcare centre itself is lovely, especially the garden areas, and is consistently spotless. I highly suggest Kiddi Caru. My son had a remarkable few years at Kiddi Caru and was sad to leave!

However, we absolutely made the right decision. Our kid has transformed into a attentive, confident 18-month-year-old. Each day we can see and sense the adore she receives, and we can’t thank the team enough for the kindness shown.
The childcare centre has just launched a new app that allows you close to real-time data on nap times, meal content/times etc, which as things development digitally, is a really lovely touch.
One particular lady in the sweet pea room has been truly inspirational from the off, supporting us with any questions or advice. As first-time parents, this has been absolutely game-changing. Big shout out also to my kid’s key worker.
Overall, we are delighted – credit to the team. We are proud to suggest Kiddi Caru.

They built lovely relationships with most of the team and genuinely seemed excited to go to school. Any issues were dealt with efficiently and any questions were answered quickly. I never worried about my kids when leaving them in the care of Kiddi Caru.
My only issue was the issues with staffing, I appreciate that these could not be helped but it did almost become a daily occurrence receiving an email asking if we could keep our kids at home. With the lines of work that both my husband and I are in having days off at short notice can cause problems, so it was a constant worry about if they would be able to attend. I have to base this review on my kids and how cheerful they are/were being there.
Both my kids loved going to what they call(ed) kangaroo school.

The knowledge my son has learnt is outstanding and I am confident he is ready for school this year. My little girl has been there for 6 months now and loves it. All team members are so welcoming, approachable and care about the kids. Highly suggest. Exceptional childcare centre.
