Kiddi Caru Day Nursery and Preschool Hanham

He was a little lockdown baby that wasn’t used to socialising and definitely not used to being left with anyone so I was worried about sending him to childcare centre.
Due to covid he had to do his setting in sessions without me being able to go onsite/stay with him. It was a daunting thought at first, handing your kid over to strangers at the front door but the team were so compassionate, understanding and patient.
My son highly quickly settled into childcare centre and is now excited going in.
All the team are lovely but I wanted to a special mention to his key worker, who has been exceptional, bounding with our son, taking the time to give us feedback on collection and making us sense at ease when we were new and worried.
The site itself is lovely, there is lots of space for the kids to explore.
They use an app which gives you updates on nappy changes, food, naps etc. As well as observations. My son started attending Mama Bears Day Childcare centre Hanham Hall around 10 weeks ago.

I found Mama Bears from an internet search and had a bit of research done to decipher if it was the right setting for my little one to strive. Definitely, it is. From the first visit, she was fully welcomed and slowly integrated into the day-to-day activities. Bearing in my mind her needs, she has truly come a long way. She now has team that understand her needs and activities are tailored to her needs. The team listens and makes changes where necessary. I am truly cheerful my little one is fully accepted irrespective of her needs and she loves it over at Mama Bears. That is what matters to me. It has been a complex journey with my little one’s needs as a result, her placement in another childcare centre was terminated.

She has settled in truly well and comes home with a big smile at the end of the day. All the team I have spoken to are highly welcoming and take a genuine interest in my daughter and getting to know her. I was highly anxious, as most parents are sending their kid to childcare centre for the first time, but my anxieties were soon put to rest after my daughter’s first day. I couldn’t be more happier and pleased with the childcare centre and look forward to seeing how my daughter grows and develops there over the next couple of years. Thanks everyone! My daughter started this childcare centre approximately 6 weeks ago.

Our little boy has been with them for around 7 months and since then, he’s come on leaps and bounds, he’s developing excellent social skills and his self‑assurance is through the roof which is no doubt due to the nurturing, fantastic team who look after him. He’s consistently smiling as are we knowing how cheerful and cared for he is. The app keeps us updated throughout the day and we adore seeing all the enjoyable he has. Could not suggest more. We cannot praise Mama Bear’s enough!

The team are highly attentive and go above and beyond. The updates is excellent which helps, and team will consistently try and have a great conversation with you at pick up to discuss the day. They are a lovely team who genuinely seem to truly care about the kids they look after. Despite the challenges of the pandemic they have maintained professionalism and continued to do their best for the kids. We have been highly cheerful with Mama Bear’s Hanham Hall and have had a highly positive journey with both of our kids.

They’ve offered assistance to both of us parents emotionally, and have encouraged our kid to grow and learn at their own pace.
They have taken excellent interest in what our doctors and health visitors have been doing with our family outside of the childcare centre setting.
I know they have had staffing issues recently which has meant we’ve had to find (highly) last-minute kid care which has been an inconvenience to us. But whilst our kid is under their care they are highly cheerful and this shows with the feedback and images we receive through the app. Our kid has additional needs that are still emerging, and the way the manager and team have responded and supported so far has been excellent.

There are lots of activities to keep her wild personality cheerful and she has truly bonded with all members of team there. The team are incredibly supportive and supportive, and it’s a real comfort to know as a parent that she will be looked after and cared for there whilst not in my care. My son also attended the setting from 1 year old, all the way up through to pre-school and still talks about it now! It’s also worth mentioning the garden which is an incredible outdoor space! There’s so much room to playtime. My daughter has attended Hanham Hall Childcare centre for just over a year now and is highly cheerful there.

Our daughter has been in this childcare centre from nine months old, all the way through to pre-school. She is leaving this week ready for school next week, and she’s loved every minute of it.
All of the team have been incredible towards her and each have their own special bond, which has been incredible to see. They have been a huge influence in her progression and discovering as she moved up the year groups and we’ve enjoyed watching her development as it’s happened.
I couldn’t suggest the childcare centre highly enough and if we do have a second kid, then we wouldn’t hesitate to send them here. Our whole journey has been stellar from start to end.

Excellent garden. Excellent updates from the team and they clearly have great bonds with the kids.
I like the app as you can see how your kid is eating but also how they are progressing as it puts the framework indicators there so you can monitor the development. Would highly suggest Lovely setting.

The team are all highly welcoming and my son is getting on highly well since starting. The team update the app daily, as well as updating regular moments and any announcements. Mama Bear’s Hanham Hall is a lovely setting.
