Kiddi Caru Day Nursery and Preschool Bradley Stoke (Webbs Wood Road)

My little boy loves going to nursery, the staff have settled him really well, he has learnt so much in a caring environment. All staff and management support me and my family fully with any enquiries we have, nursery is a big part of our life. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

I recommend Mama Bear’s for young children as they have wonderful and supportive staff who cares for and nurture the growth of children in different ways. The emphasis on early learning through activities is a very good approach.

We chose to take our little one to Mama Bear’s Day Nursery & Pre-School Bradley Stoke –
Baileys Court after moving into the area. Our little one has been attending the setting for nearly a year and a half now and we are really happy with her progress. She has turned into a confident, happy and relaxed child who looks forward to going to preschool every day. They offer a good range of activities for the children during the day but also give them lots of free play time. They really embrace each child’s individuality and try to work with your preferences as much as possible. The menu options for the cooked lunches are also really impressive and really help broaden their food horizons. We also really enjoy using the parent zone app and seeing how her day is going, the little live updates while at work really brighten your day. It would be nice if they had a bigger outside space but they do the best with what’s available to them at that site.

My 34 month old daughter has been going to Mama Bear’s Day Nursery & Pre-School Bradley Stoke – Baileys Court for almost 10 months now and we absolutely love it. Although my daughter has a language delay all of the staff especially the key person took extra care of her. They use different methods to encourage her to talk and sing. I can see the growth and learning every day! And best of all, the children seem very happy there. It’s very nice to know that she is in a caring environment while she isn’t home.

Very happy with the nursery. They were accommodating in finding availability and the settling-in sessions were well planned. Our child is always very happy to go in and enjoys being at nursery. We receive updates on meals, nappies and activities throughout the day which is really useful – it is especially nice to see pictures and videos taken during the day. The staff are all friendly and handovers always run smoothly.

All of the staff are brilliant with our son. He is very anxious and upset going to school in the morning but the ladies are always very caring and he soon cheers up when in their care. Very impressed with them.

Overall we are happy with the nursery and would recommend it. Our son started in September 2021 and has settled in well, despite going one day a week – full credit to the quality and care of the staff. The setting is homely and there are a range of activities each week. The app is great for keeping us updated. A few things we’ve been less satisfied with and might be worth mentioning: we felt let down by the management of staff shortages over the past year. We understand there’s a nationwide staffing issue but have been turned away from nursery with sometimes only 30 minutes notice, only recently receiving any communication to apologise for this; all previous emails had been to ask for volunteers to keep their children at home where possible. The menu options could be healthier – variety is a good thing but I don’t think it’s necessary to offer a one-year-old chocolate cake or ice cream as pudding. And lastly, the nursery setting is in the roof so gets extremely hot during summer.

Brilliant nursery and a great atmosphere for both children and parents alike. Passionate, friendly staff, and would highly recommend this nursery to others. My child is happy when she goes into nursery and when she comes out, which is exactly what you want as a parent, and her development and learning (e.g. speech, counting, recognition of surroundings, ability to play with others her own age) is coming on leaps and bounds at the credit of the nursery.

The nursery is great at assisting little ones to develop their independence, understanding, skills and also their own little characters. The staff are very interactive and friendly. The updates to the app throughout the day are a godsend and are also really informative, sometimes with educational aims being observed from your child or a working towards.
The parents evening is well structured and the staff are so engaging, especially when it comes to knowing about your little ones habits and characteristics, which they may not always show at home. The staff are open and honest with any questions posed to them, which in itself brings about trust and rapport. The motivational challenges for things like: brushing your teeth certificate or scavenger hunts set by the nursery, are assisting with developmental skills in the children and are welcomed. The food is plentiful and our little one loves the hot lunches.

My little boy has settled into the nursery really well. Every morning he runs in ready to play, which makes the drop off really easy and provides peace of mind that he is happy. The staff are extremely friendly and I love the updates that I get during the day from the app, which shows me all of the fun activities that he is up to. My daughter attended the preschool and also loved her time there! I would highly recommend Mama Bear’s, Baileys Court, to any family and friends.
