They have become more independent and this is down to the practitioners and their way of teaching. Thank you to the staff for always doing your best with our child. O would highly recommend Mama Bears.

January 29, 2021 at 12:00 amReally friendly staff and they all have great relationships with the children. My children love going and have really learnt a lot from this setting. I have a child in the baby room and a child in preschool. They have both gained confidence and independence and in the covid situation, peer to peer stimulation and interaction has been invaluable. They are as covid secure as they can be and they have excellent communication with parents. I particularly love the parent zone app, which gives us updates on my children’s activities, meals, naps, milk etc throughout the day. The pictures and videos they take are great as I feel a part of their day while I am at work. The biggest positive for me is the flexi-care. As a nurse/shift worker, this has been excellent. I would recommend them to anyone.

January 29, 2021 at 12:00 amI could pick any month and leave a glowing review about this nursery, my little boy has been coming here since he was 6 months old so nearly two years! They have done an amazing job and they still do every day! They have handled the pandemic so well and all the happy children there are a testament to all the lovely staff.

January 29, 2021 at 12:00 amMama Bear’s, Great Park Road have been amazing with both my kids (one of which is still attending in babies). They are very cautious in regards to their allergies and any issues the children have.
The staff I can’t speak highly enough about, they are always so happy and positive and the atmosphere they create as a team is amazing!

February 2, 2021 at 12:00 amI cannot recommend Mama Bear’s Great Park Road enough. Having moved our son here from a different childcare provider we have been very impressed with the professionalism, friendly, nurturing and welcoming attitude from the staff. Unfortunately due to covid secure measures parents are understandably no longer permitted in the nursery, however, the communication from Mama Bear’s has remained fantastic throughout and email queries are quickly responded to. Our son has only been in preschool a short time but already you can see the ‘preparation for school’ being done and how much he is learning from attending Mama Bear’s. He wakes up in the morning excited to play with his friends at nursery and always comes home happy to tell us about his day!

Our daughter has been attending the setting for close to two years now and she absolutely loves it! She has built a lovely bound with all the staff members, built lovely friendships with peers, and her confidence and independence have grown massively! We feel she’s more the ready for the transition to school in September thanks to this lovely nursery!

February 3, 2021 at 12:00 amAll the staff at this nursery are so caring and supportive, and the children seem to thrive here. Although this past year has not been easy, my son has still very much enjoyed going to nursery here, and has just transitioned up to preschool. I have been kept informed on how he has settled into the new room, and how he is starting to play with new children. He has become more confident and social both in and out of the nursery, which is so great!
I honestly cannot praise the staff here enough, they are caring, kind, and have every child’s best interest at heart.

My son looks forward to going to nursery and loves seeing his keyworkers who are brilliant. I always go to work knowing he is in very safe hands.

March 26, 2021 at 12:00 amOur son went to Mama Bear’s Day Nursery & Pre-School (Bradley Stoke – Great Park Road) from 12 months on wards until he was three years old. He loved every minute. Staff are great and he always had hugs and cuddles which made it better than other nurseries. There was never a day when he didn’t want to go nursery.

April 12, 2021 at 12:00 amThe staff at Mama Bear’s Day Nursery & Pre-School (Bradley Stoke – Great Park Road) are lovely. My son is extremely happy there and I am very happy with the level of care, learning and food provided. The only improvement would be the communication from head office, when contacting head office either it takes a while to get a response or no reply is received at all. However, the staff at the nursery will help out if no response is received.

May 17, 2021 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been at the nursery since she was a baby and has loved it! The best things about the nursery are the staff, who are amazing, they’re so enthusiastic, caring and nurturing. The space for each of the age groups which are much bigger and used really well compared lots of other nurseries and preschools. From the outside, it’s not much to look at but honestly, the inside is amazing, not only the play areas for the children but the warmth and patience the staff have makes them feel like family. The food and activities they do are awesome too. Can’t speak highly enough of this nursery.

May 26, 2021 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been at Mama Bear’s Great Park Road since she was 1 and with her leaving date fast approaching, I can honestly say for the last three years I have only the best memories. The staff are all wonderful, the setting is amazing and I feel confident leaving my daughter here every day. The flexible option has been a lifesaver for us with my husband working shifts, it has meant we haven’t been out of pocket on days when childcare wasn’t needed. I can’t thank Mama Bear’s enough, I would recommend to anyone and everyone.

May 26, 2021 at 12:00 amI have had nothing but great experiences with Mama Bear’s, my daughter started during the pandemic and I was worried it would be a difficult transition but after she has been going for months now and my concerns are completely gone and been replaced with nothing but praise. The staff have been great with my daughter and I highly recommend them to anyone that ever asks.

May 27, 2021 at 12:00 amI’d like to say how happy we are with the nursery. Especially through the uncertainty when covid started. When the temporary manager stepped in, she was great with communication, information and all-round support in especially tough times. It settled our minds knowing where we stood and gave us confidence in sending our child back to nursery with no worries. We’d also like to make a special mention our child’s keyworker, she has been great with him and feel she has helped develop his confidence and various other skills. It was always a struggle getting our son into nursery happy but due to his keyworker’s influence, and I’m sure some of the other team as well, he really enjoys going.

May 28, 2021 at 12:00 amMy son attends 3 days a week and he absolutely loves it. I feel so at ease dropping him off and collecting him and knowing throughout the day what he’s been up to from the daily updates I receive. My child has learnt so much from attending and loves the social aspect of socialising with other children. Every day is a different learning day and activities they provide. They take pride in providing well balanced meals throughout the day and this has helped my son try new food he hasn’t before. This is the second time we have used the nursery as my 8 year old used to attend. The nursery offers other benefits such as flexi-care which is an added benefit. I would highly recommend the nursery, your child will love it and feel like it is their second home.

Staff treat all children equally and are always approachable and supportive to parents.
My little one loves being at Great Park Road and I would highly recommend this setting to parents and friends.

March 23, 2022 at 12:00 amMy daughter has attended Mama Bears since was 9 months old and not once has not wanted to go. Everyday she walks in she says hello to everyone and barely says goodbye to me, which indicates she is happy to be there, feels safe to be left there and is looking forward to a day of fun with her friends and practitioners. All meals are provided and generally varied and nutritious. The nursery use an app which the practitioners update throughout the day to let you know what your child is eating, toilet habits, sleep and what activities they have been doing throughout the day. Being a working mum, it is really important to me to see what she is doing so that I feel apart of her day. The only negatives are on occasion there have been staffing issues (mainly due to Covid) and the flex care option was removed at short notice, however, I can already see an improvement and the nursery do try to accommodate any extra days you may need at short notice. Overall a positive experience!
