The team are truly supportive in everything and I’m glad I chose this childcare centre for him. I was highly anxious about leaving my son at first.

September 4, 2024 at 10:05 pmThe care she received throughout her time at Kaleidoscope was outstanding, the team are so polite, loving and attentive and nothing is too much trouble. This year was exceptionally hard due to the Coronavirus but the team and management have worked so incredibly hard to ensure a secure but still enjoyable setting for all the kids. My eldest left in August 2020 (to start primary school) but is hoping to attend the KOOSH holiday club in the future. My younger kid then started in September, I was worried that because she’d spent most of her life in lockdown and hadn’t been left with anybody for more than a hour or two before that she would struggle to settle in. Fortunately, it was the complete opposite, she absolutely loves going, goes running in each morning and her development and independence have improved massively.
I would not hesitate to suggest Kaleidoscope. My eldest started in Nov 2018 age 2 1/2 after a recommendation from a friend and from that moment I’ve never looked back.

September 8, 2024 at 9:52 amWhilst everything is ‘Outstanding’ I think there are two things that truly stand out. Firstly it is so highly obvious that each member of team is so committed to working with kids, I truly don’t think I have ever seen any team that aren’t 100% focussed on what is going on in the room. That means so much as a parent and is so reassuring. The second stand out point is how effective the leadership team behind the scenes are. The commitment to continually grow and develop is truly inspiring. Top-down genuine care and adore for what is in the kids’s best interests is not something you see often… but we have seen it consistently since we transferred our kid here nearly two years ago. Throughout the Coronavirus pandemic, they have fully supported parents and team and have ensured they have done all they can do. I have nothing but praise for everyone who is part of the team. Thank you. It is difficult to sum up what makes Kaleidoscope Drighlington the perfect childcare centre.

September 20, 2024 at 1:08 amOur little boy also goes two days a week which at first was heartbreaking after lockdown and him not seeing anyone yet they have been exceptional with him as it’s taken a few months for him to settle in but now he seems to be loving it and as parents, we are truly cheerful that we chose Kaleidoscope. Thank you to you all for being supportive through lockdown and for attentive for the kids like they’re all your own. After this year being the way it has, the team welcomed our daughter, who had never attended a childcare centre before, amazingly a few weeks before starting school and she settled in lovely and now goes to after school club which she absolutely loves.

September 26, 2024 at 1:16 pmI honestly don’t know what I would have done without the care, adore, teaching and nurturing they have shown to my kids. All the team who have looked after them genuinely care and as a mother, it is so lovely to know that when I drop the kids off so I can go to work, they will have a day of enjoyable and laughter. Kaleidoscope has been so accommodating to us, I work shifts so the kids are in childcare centre and KOOSH on random days. This has never been a problem. I literally couldn’t suggest them enough. Both my kids have attended Kaleidoscope day childcare centre at Drighlington since they were babies (now 5 and 3 years old).

October 6, 2024 at 2:29 amRegardless of which room your kid is in, all the team take the time to get to know your kid. Since my son has started at this childcare centre he has thrived in his discovering. I think this is down to how the team respond to the kids’s individual needs and the variety of discovering that they offer. Kaleidoscope is an outstanding childcare centre that offers remarkable facilities.

October 13, 2024 at 8:11 amThey consistently put the kids first and will ensure their happiness is their number one priority. When lockdown hit they did everything in their power to ensure the kids came first and were settled and cheerful. My boys have loved being there. My eldest (now at school) still talks about being in blue room and my youngest runs in without waving bye to us and leaves with a huge smile on his face. That speaks volumes. They truly know the kids they work with and will create activities based on what the kids are interested in. Thank you. The team at the childcare centre have gone above and beyond this year.

October 22, 2024 at 7:08 pmHe’s had a tough 6 months with not just lockdown but also major surgery in the summer which made him highly wary of people he didn’t know and new settings. The team at Kaleidoscope Drighlington have been incredible. He settled within a couple of weeks and runs in every morning smiling and comes out smiling. The updates with parents is outstanding and I would highly suggest the childcare centre to all my friends and family. The team truly do go above and beyond for the kids. My little boy (16 months) started in October.

So thank you to all the team so much for being a big part in my son’s early years of his life and helping him become the happiest little boy ever. I would say to anyone that’s looking for childcare to go for a visit and meet the team who I’m sure will make you sense at ease and comfortable with what is a daunting task. Both of my kids have attended Kaleidoscope Childcare centre and I have recommended this setting to my friends who have been equally impressed with the level of care shown to the kids.

December 20, 2024 at 7:59 pmWe only started using the childcare centre during Covid times so I hope when others read this review they remember this, as the service we have received during a global pandemic has been exceptional. They have communicated exceptionally well with us with during this time and made us sense secure sending our boy each day. We receive daily updates and pictures each week of how he is progressing, which makes our day! Little things like being welcomed at the door on his 2nd morning with team remembering his name, reassured me that we made the correct decision joining this Childcare centre. I can’t thank the team enough for what they have done for us and our boy, and we look forward hopefully to a better 2021 knowing our boy is loving each day and growing up in a remarkable place! Thank you! I wanted to share my appreciation of how incredible the childcare centre has been in helping my little boy settle in over his first 4 months.

January 21, 2025 at 9:53 amI just couldn’t imagine leaving my baby with anyone and them doing exactly what I was doing at home. I gave all my details about how and what I was doing at home and they took note of every single detail I wished them to. It took a bit of getting used to leaving my baby with someone else but I am so so cheerful I chose Kalidescope to look after my kid they care so much for each and every kid and I can see that in every room my kid went in. He is currently in koosh and he absolutely loves it. My second baby is currently in attending and he also loves it and has grown a highly strong bond with his current key worker and feels highly comfortable in the childcare centre setting. I have already recommended kaleidoscope to a friend and she moved her kid from another childcare centre to here and said it was the right decision to move and now sends her second kid. Adore this place. Massive thank you once again to ALL the team. I was so nervous about returning back to work after having my baby.

My little one absolutely loves going to childcare centre, she even asks to go on a weekend! The childcare centre management and team are all fantastic.

February 17, 2025 at 9:01 amAll the way from the admin side of things through to drop-off and pick up at school, nothing is too much trouble for them.
My daughter has attended the childcare centre since a toddler and is now attending the out of school club. She utterly loves the place and the team. So much so that she not only requested that she be picked up from school by them every day, but also that she preferred to go to the holiday club during half-term, rather than days out with her parents!
The team are welcoming and approachable, and their care and adore towards the kids is obvious to see. Despite the issues that the Covid-19 pandemic caused, they have never once complained or moaned about the situation, they have simply taken the challenge head-on and found ways to work around the issues. The level of care and assistance they managed to provide during this difficult time was extraordinary. Drighlington Kaleidoscope Childcare centre has been exceptional in every single aspect of our kid’s care.

April 26, 2025 at 10:14 amI also have a son who goes here. They both absolutely adore it! The team are exceptional and although it’s a fairly large site all the team know all the kids. My 2 have built truly strong bonds with team over the years. There are 4 different rooms which the kids move up into and found that the team work truly well to make the transitions go smoothly. The facilities are outstanding and the activities such as forest school and mini maestros is an added bonus which both of mine enjoyed. The childcare centre uses an online app where you can look at what the kids have been doing and what they are currently working on. The phonics work they do in the Blue room truly helped my daughter for when she started school. I have and would highly suggest this childcare centre as I have never had any issues and all the team including management are highly approachable. I have been using this childcare centre since my daughter was 9 mths old in the baby room through to her now being 5 and using the KOOSH club.

They regularly come home with stories, crafts, baking and a smile!! I fully suggest to any parent. Both my kids have attended this childcare centre over the last 5 years.

May 31, 2025 at 11:03 pmThe team are fabulous and work so hard to make it a fantastic place. I can go to work knowing they are cheerful and settled, you couldn’t ask for more. Both my son and daughter absolutely adore their time at childcare centre, both are consistently cheerful to go in and come out even happier, usually covered in paint and muck after their day of adventure and enjoyable.
I couldn’t imagine ever using another childcare centre.

Facilities are excellent and parents are consistently kept updated and informed on development. Can’t praise this childcare centre enough.
