VisitingThey are located on the grounds of Colchester Academy school. The Nursery is situated behind the school, to gain entrance you would need to pull into the school car park down Acacia Avenue. Car parking spaces are marked for the nursery and entrance via the door at the front of the building.

September 10, 2024 at 2:21 amNot only does this childcare centre cost less, but the team are lovely.
My daughter can be shy and apprehensive, and I really worried about moving her; however, she has started to settle already after just six 2-hour sessions.
It was my son’s first time at childcare centre following maternity leave, and he loves it; he’s so content.
I most adore that the childcare centre is kid-led; they do what they sense like doing rather than being forced to do activities they aren’t in the mood for. I sense kids learn better this way when they are enjoying the art of discovering through playtime.
Can’t wait to see what my kids achieve and how they grow being here. Had to move my kids for financial reasons from another childcare centre.

October 7, 2024 at 9:05 pmThe attitudes of the guys here are incredible. They’re accommodating, welcoming and cheerful. My kid has developed at incredible speed since attending the childcare centre and absolutely loves being there. The facilities are exceptional, as are the people, who really strive to provide a nurturing and generally lovely setting. Couldn’t suggest them enough! Recently had a parents meeting at the childcare centre, and the team were compassionate enough to provide a tour as well as an update on my kid’s development.

She is such a lovely lady, she explained everything to me in much more detail than I even knew.
I’m so cheerful with the childcare centre as a whole and the other kids and team members that work there looking after our kids.
Thank you for making childcare a breeze. Just Imagine is the best childcare centre that I’ve come across.
My son is 16-months old and absolutely loves going to the childcare centre; he is so excited when I tell him in the morning that he’s going to childcare centre.
The changes they have made just recently are incredible; the garden has a lovely sized outside area where they’ve done it up with a mud kitchen, musical instruments, sand and water playtime as welll as a construction site for the kids to build and explore.
My recent journey with parent’s meeting was lovely; it was the first time of being able to go in and look around properly since Covid-19 happened.

The facilities are perfect in both the baby and older downstairs room with a variety of different engaging activities and areas set up. It is a small childcare centre with a real homely sense, and my daughter consistently eats extra food too! My kid has been attending this childcare centre since she was crawling and is now two and a half.

December 2, 2024 at 5:15 pmI do not worry about leaving my kid in their care; they have helped my kid to develop more emotionally and socially than in the previous care setting that was attended. Team are attentive, have great updates amongst each other, key persons are chosen by who the kid naturally goes to, and it’s so nice to see my kid have a bond with someone who gives them the care they need and expert adore and assistance whilst in their care. Team truly take time to know each kid in their care. The whole team are fantastic and feels like extended family, who really have the best interest and tailored care for all kids under their care.

December 10, 2024 at 11:09 amThe team are so cheerful and welcoming. I consistently sense my son is cheerful and secure with them. Having seen the new changes to the childcare centre design, I am very grateful that my son goes there; it feels very homely and there are lots to do. The garden is incredible, so much for little ones to explore and learn. The sensory room is remarkable; I can understand why my son enjoys being in there. I consistently know my son is well cared for, and I couldn’t wish for a better place for him to be looked after and start his journey in his early year’s education. The team are just remarkable! My son has been at the childcare centre since he was 10-months-old (he’s now 3-years-old), and I have never had any problems with the childcare centre or team.

January 4, 2025 at 10:16 amMy little boy has autism and sensory needs and the childcare centre have been so supportive not just to my son but for me too. The girls are so lovely and so hardworking and so understanding, the childcare centre is spotless, homely welcoming place with so much stuff for the kids to do such a excellent childcare centre that I would suggest 100% all day every day! My little boy as come along way since starting this childcare centre and couldn’t thank the girls enough! Honestly can’t suggest this childcare centre enough.

January 19, 2025 at 4:38 amIt was one of the few nurseries local to us as well that offered a large unoverlooked outside garden, which the team take full advantage of in all reasonable weather, meaning the kids get plenty of fresh air and exercise through playtime. My daughter also suffers from a milk allergy, which the team have all been so alert with. The policies and procedures they have in place put my daughter’s safety first but also ensures she isn’t separated when eating and isn’t made to sense excluded. But best of all, my daughter loves to go; she talks about her friends and her educators all the time and has never been upset when I’ve dropped her at the door and is consistently smiling when I collect her to go home! Choosing a childcare centre amongst an active pandemic was not easy, especially as a first time Mum, but the team at Just Imagine made me sense so comfortable and allowed me to take the time in asking all the questions I needed, so I knew from the early stages it was going to be the right childcare centre for us.

March 6, 2025 at 2:07 pmAlso, being able to now view some of the activities that go on at the childcare centre via the log is very encouraging as it gives a sense of being there and a knowledge of what can be replicated at home. My daughter is in the potty training stage, and I must say, she’s improved greatly, and I know part of the reason is the patience and care given at the childcare centre.

My daughter really struggled after being born in lockdown but now walks into the building waving and saying hello to everyone. She is very settled and enjoys the activities put in place for her development.
All information is provided, and if in need, the manager will consistently get back with anything further we need. We are very cheerful with her care and would highly suggest it to other parents looking for a kid-led, secure, attentive and enjoyable setting for their kid too.
