September 9, 2024 at 5:47 amHowever, the childcare centre establishment and team have excelled in providing a attentive, secure and supportive setting for our son which has provided us as parents with reassurance and self‑assurance. Their attention to government guidance during the pandemic has been at the forefront in ensuring the care of the kids and consistently inform us parents of any changes in policy and guidance.
Our son thoroughly enjoys going to childcare centre in Jolly Rodgers and there is never a day we aren’t met with a welcoming smile at the door. The team are highly welcoming and have established a exceptional rapport with our son who has increased his social and playtime skills considerably since starting. The childcare centre keeps us up to date with two excellent apps so we know how our son is getting on during the day.
We can’t praise them enough and would suggest Jolly Rodgers Day Childcare centre to anyone who needs childcare. Our first kid started childcare centre at the beginning of the COVID 19 pandemic which was a highly worrying time as parents.

Highly pleasant team members, expert and exceptional care for their little ones. She will miss Jolly Pirates so highly much. Credit to all the team in Jolly Pirates and a massive thank you to the Jolly Pirates leader – couldn’t ask for a better leader. Highly suggest. The care my daughter received in Jolly Pirates was absolutely remarkable.

September 19, 2024 at 10:44 amThe childcare centre is professionally run and the room team are inviting, welcoming, engaging and enjoyable and I am so cheerful with my daughter attending. Parents are kept fully informed via seesaw and my childcare centre pal of daily activities and eating etc which is exceptionally reassuring for us. I would wholeheartedly suggest Jolly Rodgers. Jolly Rodgers is a fantastic day childcare centre, my daughter has been content and cheerful since she started and looks forward to attending each day.

October 23, 2024 at 12:05 pmMy daughter is now in a bigger room and absolutely loves the activities she gets to do from painting to sensory playtime, soft playtime and the incredible outside area they have available for the kids to explore outside. In a time when there is a pandemic ongoing, I sense so grateful that my daughter is getting secure care and still having enjoyable with secure practice in place. Updates from the childcare centre is highly great, the procedures they are following and guidelines are all well presented to parents on the apps. After a family member sent their kid here and he loved it, I viewed a few others but settled on Jolly Rodgers and I am so glad I did. Jolly Rodgers has looked after my daughter from since she has been 9 months old, the girls in the baby room were highly comforting when leaving my daughter the first few days, any questions or queries were answered straight away.

It’s exceptional how they work together and it means my daughter didn’t have the disruption of moving from preschool to childcare each day. The team at Jolly Pirates have been incredible! So welcoming and supportive all while coping during the pandemic and highly uncertain times. I felt they worked hard to make sure the kids felt secure and welcome. I loved getting pictures of my daughter discovering through playtime each day, she has been truly cheerful there. We will miss the team! Jolly Pirates has been excellent for my daughter.

Team are outstanding, they are consistently going above and beyond. Jolly Rodgers Daycare and Jolly Pirates Preschool are both outstanding.

My son has come on hugely from being at childcare centre and the effort the team put in with him, from his eating, speech and discovering. The team communicate so well through Seesaw, Childcare centre Pal, their website, social media and email. I sense exceptionally secure having my kid attend Jolly Rodgers and couldn’t think of a better childcare centre for him to attend. He thoroughly enjoys all of the activities and outdoor space along with the friends he has made in the kids and team. Thank you to all the team at Jolly Rodgers for doing such a remarkable job! I couldn’t be happier with Jolly Rodgers Day Childcare centre and would highly suggest this childcare centre to all families.

The setting is secure and team are welcoming and attentive. We are pleased with the level of care our kids are experiencing at Jolly Rodgers .

The team do a fantastic job and are clearly devoted to looking after all of the kids and the manager is so welcoming and approachable and consistently flexible to our changing childcare requirements.
The facilities both indoor and out are outstanding with updates and theme changes happening regularly to keep the babies and toddlers interested. A lot of effort clearly goes into the monthly themes.
My eldest has recently been potty trained and all of the toddler team were highly supportive with that especially during the difficult early weeks.
The childcare centre regularly has outings and charity events so there is consistently plenty going on to get involved in and we are kept well informed with the website and monthly newsletters. My eldest son has been attending the day childcare centre for almost two years and my youngest son has recently started.

February 10, 2025 at 12:16 amThe team are remarkable and I cant praise them enough. They are prepared to take on any challenge and consistently show my kids the adore and attention they need and encourage their development in such a positive manner. They don’t over react when my wee girl falls ill and manage her condition exceptionally well. There was no fuss around her liver transplant (which was stressful enough for me) and they worked with the community nurses and I to ensure my little girls needs were/are met.
My eldest son (11) has been at Jolly Rodgers since he was 3. Nowhere else would take him as he had behavioural difficulties – he was expelled by a ‘health trust’ childcare centre just before his 2nd birthday. Jolly Rodgers gave him a chance and he has loved it there. He has to leave when he turns 12 and we are highly sad that this has to happen as he enjoys spending his school holidays and after school time here.
My middle son (4) has been there since he was 6 months old and loves going to Jolly Rodgers and now attends their preschool programme. He has built positive relationships with his peers and the team and this is down to the hard work of the team at Jolly Rodgers.
Team are exceptionally sensible, expert and attentive. I can go to work without the fear that my kids are hating their childcare centre or are being treated unfairly. Team do teach right/wrong and discipline the kids accordingly but fairly. My kids have lots of enjoyable while they are discovering and often surprise me with what they have achieved- again this is down to the team. Jolly Rodgers is like an extension of our family now.
Jolly Rodgers offer a range of activities within and outside the building- swimming, jo jingles, trips to the cinema, parks, farms etc. They have a large outside area for the kids of all ages to delight in. If I had any concerns (which I never have) I know the team would listen to me and try and rectify it. The manager, is a remarkable person and tries to help in anyway she can.
My kids journey foods that I would not necessarily buy for home and they delight in the freshly cooked varied meals. Jolly Rodgers do deserve a medal as the team go way above of what anyone would expect from a day care provider. Well done girls and thank you so much for taking such excellent care of my kiddies 🙂 Jolly Rodgers care for my 3 kids; 1 with a severe discovering disability and 1 who had a liver transplant a year ago (7 months old).

February 15, 2025 at 4:27 pmMy kids have attended from babies and are now at primary school age. After school facilities are remarkable! Each day is packed with enjoyable filled activities including role-plays, games, Christmas activities. Throughout the Covid situation, the childcare centre and team have all gone above and beyond in supporting kids and parents. They put safety provisions in place such as after school bubbles, separate playtime area tents and separate changing facilities, so kids were made to sense at ease and still maintain their important routine. I truly would be lost without the assistance of this childcare centre. Remarkable childcare centre.

April 6, 2025 at 2:30 pmJolly Rodgers team have been looking after my kids since we returned to live in N. Ireland in 2014. All three of my kids have been through their doors, including their childcare centre unit. I have consistently thought exceptionally highly of them, but this year – they went above and beyond. They were outstanding. At a time when it was nearly impossible to retain childcare, and during a pandemic – they kept their doors open – joyfully, kindly and generously attentive for key workers’ kids. In my opinion, they should be put on the Honours list. Jolly Rodgers has been an answer to our prayers.

July 8, 2025 at 10:07 amAfter 12 months of maternity leave followed by lockdown they were both used to being around me 24/7. They both settled in so quickly and the team went above and beyond for them. After a week they were both looking forward to going to school. What I adore most is all the team are so welcoming and know the kids’s names, even if they don’t mind them, they consistently have a huge hello for them. My son even gets excited when he sees the manager! Having peace of mind dropping them off means the world to us. Both kids have come on so much and my son’s speech has improved a lot. I couldn’t fault Jolly Rodgers in any way. They use the seesaw app a lot which is excellent to see what they are doing throughout the day and be a fly on the wall at times through photos and videos! Would 100% suggest Jolly Rodgers to anyone. My daughter (16 months) and son (3.5) started in September 2020.
