Jack and Jill Day Nursery Upton

My children love going to Jack and Jill, Upton. The activities are fun and varied and are designed to develop core skills. The best thing about this nursery is the staff who work with the children on a day to day basis. My eldest counts her key worker as one of her best friends and is always excited to let her know what she has been up to on her days off. My youngest (who can be clingy) has already taken to her key worker after only a couple of weeks. I can feel happy going back to work knowing my girls are in safe, loving hands.

I am very very happy with my childs time in Jack and Jill Nursery. This is her third year at the nursery and her progression is excellent. She has really come out in confidence and has made a lot of friends. All the staff are friendly and helpful.

My little boy has attended since early last year and I cannot fault the care and support we have been given. The staff are amazing and have offered support and guidance. They have recently swapped over to the App, a great way to keep up to date with your little one’s day.

The manager and the two girls in the baby room are so kind. They make me feel at ease when I leave my baby girl with them. When I pick her up they give me a little talk about how she’s been and what she has eaten. They will call me if they are worried about her being ill or has a high temperature. Overall I was worried about leaving my daughter in a nursery but now I feel reassured that she is absolutely fine when she’s there. And she really enjoys being there she is always smiling when I pick her. She has a good variety of food and she eats all of it.

Our daughter loves her time at nursery. She is excited to go in the morning and clutches her nursery book at the door waiting to leave the house. The information we receive from staff is always detailed and personable and it has been great to see photos of her on the app. Recently she has had transition visits to the toddler group and we are confident the team are preparing her well for the next stage. The manager and her staff are always friendly and knowledgeable and willing to answer questions.

My daughter has been attending Jack and Jill Day Nursery after moving from another nursery in the local area, and I can honestly say it was the best decision we made moving her. Every morning she is so excited to attend and always comes home in a brilliant mood and full of energy. The learning book app, in which the staff upload personal pictures is a great insight into what my daughter gets up to during her time at nursery, and it’s really lovely to see the variety of activities which encourage her learning.

My daughter was very shy when she joined the nursery a few months ago; she loves coming now and is always so happy to tell me about her day and the activities she did. She tells me how much she likes her teachers and friends.

My child is fairly reserved around those other than family but absolutely loves going to Jack and Jill. I can see he loves those caring for him and vice versa. The menu is also fantastic, exposing him to a variety of foods.

My son has been attending Jack and Jill Day Nursery Upton for almost two years. He runs in almost every day and talks a lot about the staff and other children when he’s not there.
All three of my children have been to this nursery, and the consistency of care has been high throughout. The staff clearly know the children very well.
I particularly appreciate the daily updates we have via the app, which allows me to see what kind of activities he has been doing during the day.
The staff have always been supportive and flexible, and have been great in supporting my son through potty training.
I recommend this nursery to any friends of mine who live locally!

Fantastic nursery! My twin boys have been here for eight months now, and they absolutely love it! They run through the door without looking back. Staff are kind, caring and really do take great interest in the children. They make such a fuss of them both, and the boys love them all. They listen carefully to special requirements and are very good at working together with parents and the children’s home-nursery life, keeping the routine the same. The manager is very supportive and listens to any concerns around the children and will do her best to help.
The nursery is clean and colourful and has a huge garden space. They are always celebrating holiday occasions days doing activities and making things.
They have a special app that is updated with photographs of the children, a message of what they’ve been doing for the day and what they have learnt. Since attending, both boys have come on so much with their understanding and speech. But most importantly, all children and staff look happy! Highly recommended
