Due to management change the childcare centre took a very quick decline in everything aspect which was traumatising to witness. Nevertheless, this was picked up on and a new manager within the company has been appointed, needless to say she had turned this childcare centre around and it’s in the best shape. My daughter has developed so much in the past couple of months and is back to enjoying the childcare centre setting. I sense more confident as a parent knowing that she’s developing, building relationships with team and peers and she’s in a cheerful setting. The team seem happier the days are more organised and you sense informed and involved in your kid’s day. Would definitely suggest! My daughter has been attending for two and a half years and the childcare centre was incredible to start with, very great routines and activities for the kids.

There has recently been a change of manager and a new deputy manager. It was a rocky start for us because at the show around a twice a day nap schedule was agreed. However upon starting at the childcare centre it was clear this is not possible to implement due to the baby room set up and schedule. This made the settling in period tough. My ten month old had to conform to a once a day nap schedule which upset me. However the team continue to work hard to help my little one transition to napping there. In all other regards the childcare centre is excellent. He is eating well with diverse food choices offered. He is playing and socialising well. He has a lovely connection with his key worker. The new management are implementing a number of changes and improvements including a revamp on indoor and outdoor spaces. The childcare centre are quick to respond to queries and consistently providing updates and feedback. Weekly updates on activities are given via their app. The team in the baby room are lovely.

My daughter was really nervous going to childcare centre but thanks to all the team, they helped her and now she has settled very well. They have different activities every day. Lovely team they look after the kids very well.

His development in physical activities, language, motor skills and self‑assurance has come on in leaps and bounds in the last seven months. The childcare centre team are fantastic. They are attentive and really engage with the kids and encourage them to be themselves. Its been difficult not being able to come into the childcare centre and see my little one interacting with his surroundings but the app means that the team can update me on what he is doing, eating and how long he is napping. We get regular development updates from his care worker. It has been a stressful time with Covid-19 but the team ensure that you sense secure sending your kid there in their care. He absolutely loves his days in childcare centre and consistently comes out full of energy and cheerful. I would be cheerful to suggest Hungry Caterpillar Day Childcare centre – Hathaway to any prospective parents. The childcare centre manager is very approachable and consistently cheerful to engage with parents and kids. My son started at the childcare centre in September at one years old.

I now see him push himself to writing more and he’s interested in writing. He is also better with tidying up and keeps himself spotless. When my kid started his childcare centre, he was a weak with his alphabetic and writing.

Discovering new activities could use a bit more effort, the food is ok, the childcare centre is spacious and spotless, team are hard-working and dedicated. Overall, a excellent place to take your kids. Team are excellent, you can’t get better value for money than this.

She enjoys her time at childcare centre a lot and has made lots of friends. She missed a lot of time at childcare centre due to Covid but she has become much better at playing with other kids and has really come out of her shell, especially recently. The team are very nice, consistently answer any queries and are consistently clearly cheerful to be there with our kids. She gets sent home with little workbooks to practice her letters and numbers, as well as books to help her strengthen her reading.
We’ve recently been allowed to pick up the kids from inside the building as restrictions lifted and it’s been lovely to see the amount of equipment, toys and discovering activities they have available to them. My daughter has been at Hungry Caterpillar since 2020.

Team are really welcoming and attentive. The childcare centre setting is excellent. Fantastic outdoor space. My daughter seems very cheerful from the regular picture updates we get. Thank you to all the team. Highly suggest. Lovely childcare centre.

Having used this childcare centre for almost 3 years you can really sense the difference now. The garden had a massive makeover as did inside. The team are so proud of what they are doing, the updates is exceptional on the app with the weekly update of what the kids have been discovering alongside photos.
There is a excellent manager and you can see that the team are all so supportive of her. This childcare centre has had a big overhaul in the past 4 months.
