Hopscotch Day Nursery Lee-on-Solent

My son has really flourished since joining Hopscotch Day Nursery Lee-on-Solent. All the staff are simply wonderful. They are approachable, friendly, warm and genuinely have the children’s best interests at heart.
The nursery is clean, with health and safety being a top priority. Activities are done with plenty of gusto and there is a balanced demographic of staff which provides a great culture within the nursery. I can’t rave about it enough.

The staff here have been absolutely amazing with my son, who was once so shy (thanks Covid!) that even going into a playpark with 1 person in was a struggle for him. They’ve given him nothing but understanding and patience and he’s blossomed into a much more confident little boy! They care so much about his development and they have a good healthy variety of food! My son has bonded so well with his key worker thanks to all the work she’s put in, and he’s forming bonds with other staff members too now which has been so lovely to see. Management gets to know the kids too and are clearly invested in their development, and get excited for all their little wins too. Bringing my son to Hopscotch Day Nursery Lee-on-Solent was the best thing I ever did for him. I love the use of the app and being able to see what he gets up to! Thank you so much!

Very impressed with the effort the team have made to get to know my daughter. They have built strong relationships with her in such a short time. The observations and activities are wonderful, educational and personal. My daughter comes home speaking highly of the staff.
Any communication I have made with management, or team members has been friendly, professional and diligent.

Hopscotch Nursery has made returning to work very easy on me! I get plenty of updates and know my daughter is being well looked after! The staff at Hopscotch are very attentive and caring, I was expecting some tears when I first left my daughter. Instead, I’m lucky if I get a wave goodbye, by the time I’m saying goodbye she is off playing. She is very happy and content here and I can’t ask for much more!

My son started at Hopscotch Day Nursery Lee-on-Solent at the beginning of the year and it is clear that he absolutely loves it. We were understandably concerned about him starting at a new setting but the girls in Toddlers have exceeded all expectations and we couldn’t be happier. Before Hopscotch our son always struggled at drop offs although this is not the case now which is a credit to the setting and the girls. It’s lovely to see and leave him happy somewhere where he is clearly thriving. Thank you so much.

My daughter started Hopscotch Day Nursery Lee-on-Solent earlier this year and we could not be more pleased with how everything has been since joining. The staff are so friendly and she absolutely loves her time there. Communication is brilliant and we love all the updates we are able to easily see of her time there. I have always heard great things about the nursery in the local community and I can safely say I am now one of the mums who rave about the nursery to others.

My daughter loves coming to Hopscotch and has formed a lovely bond with the girls in the room. They have a home from home approach which helps settling in as a baby. She is so content we don’t think twice about extending her day when needed. They have a lovely size baby room with a range of different toys.

After an 11 year wait for a daughter I was apprehensive, if not insistent that nobody would be able to offer the level of care, support and well-being for my daughter to the high standards that I would expect. However, the past 6 months of her attending Lee on Solent Hopscotch Day Nursery has proven me wrong. The care and compassion the waddlers team and especially her key worker have provided has been exceptional. As a busy working parent it is natural to be concerned about missing out on key milestones or events but Hopscotch go the extra mile to bridge that gap through detailed and concise handovers and most importantly open and honest conversations, as well as reporting via online care diaries and regular photos. From the moment you walk in, to the moment you leave, it’s clear that it’s not a standard nursery thrown together for profit but that your child is treated like family and as such I can’t recommend them highly enough for any other prospective parents.

We can’t thank Hopscotch Day Nursery, and particularly the Under 2’s room enough for the way they have cared for our daughter during our time here. We are so sad to be leaving the area as we have seen how much she has learned and the great bonds she has formed with the staff and other children alike. The nursery do what they can to support you and your little one’s routine. She has sometimes struggled with saying goodbye to us in the mornings but the staff were always so supportive and caring that we knew she would be smiling within minutes and we then get that reassurance by the open communication and feedback about her day. Her confidence has come on leaps and bounds, as well as her speech and language. She absolutely loves the trips out to the library for rhyme time and gets plenty of opportunities to do messy or imaginative play for which we personally sometimes struggle to think of and do at home. We can’t thank them enough and we will really miss seeing her continue to grow there.

Fantastic nursery. It’s always lovely to see my daughter excited to start her day at nursery and come home each day with a smile. The staff have been brilliant and extremely helpful. 1000% happy with my choice to enroll my daughter into this nursery.
