Hopscotch Day Nursery Fareham

One who has ASD! They are such a supportive childcare centre! And I genuinely couldn’t ask for more from a childcare centre; they have so many activities they do with the kids, anything you are struggling with or need advice with you can talk to the team, I have built incredible relationships with all of the team there they are all lovely! Would suggest this childcare centre to anyone who wants the best for their kids and wants them to thrive and have the best education in their all-important pre-school years! Hopscotch has been incredible with both of my daughters!

From the very start, the updates between team and us has been incredible, especially navigating their way around a pandemic. Our son has thrived within the setting and we have felt at ease as parents dropping him off each week.
Along the way the childcare centre has helped with losing dummies, potty training, speech and made all of these transitions easy. Their current work in preschool for getting the kids ready for the school start in September is remarkable. The team really care about the kids and give them such an exciting day, every day. We really couldn’t suggest them enough and with a second kid on the way we are excited for the journey to start all over again with Hopscotch. Our son started with Hopscotch Day Childcare centre Fareham in 2019 at 7 months old and there is nowhere else we would choose to send him.

He started when 14-months-old in Toddler, and I can’t fault anything. His development has come on in leaps and bounds, he looks forward to routine and structure and thrives with activities provided in preschool. He has become more adventurous with foods and trying things he wouldn’t touch at home. I viewed several nurseries and although Hopscotch Day Childcare centre Fareham isn’t local to my home, I wouldn’t have him anywhere else. My son attends preschool.

It’s very well run. The food is made on-site. They have a soft playtime, and all of the team are fantastic. Being open from 7:30-18:30 is perfect for my working needs, and I adore that I can use the app to check on the care diary and see updates of what they’ve been up to. My two little ones attend this childcare centre and they really delight in it.

The team are all fantastic and really work hard to make sure that the kids sense loved and cheerful during their time at the childcare centre, as well as focusing on their social and cognitive development. The facilities are lovely, especially the soft playtime and sensory room. We have loved our time at Hopscotch Fareham, first with my daughter (preschool room) and now with my son (baby room).

Responses to emails are swift and comprehensive. We’ve been really pleased with the standard of care provided for our 21-month-old daughter since she started just over a year ago.
She had a number of nutritional needs that were taken into account brilliantly (to the extent that sometimes we asked them for tips on what they were feeding her!)
Her previous key worker was fab and the transition to her new key worker has been more or less seamless.
We consistently sense like we are being taken seriously and that our requests are being honoured.

Fareham Hopscotch is run by a manager who we loved from the first time we met her. You can tell she runs a very tight ship and all the team are well trained and supported whilst maintaining a very enjoyable and informal sense in the childcare centre. I had absolutely no concerns about leaving my kid in her care.
The team are all fantastic and attentive, they are tactile with my kid when she needs that extra assistance which with Covid was something I feared would be lacking… I had no reason to be concerned.
My little girl was a little slow with her talking and the team were quick to put her in a speaking group to give her extra help, she has caught up with her peers now and is a little chatterbox.
I honestly cannot rate this childcare centre highly enough, it is the one I suggest to anyone who asks. Our little girl started here at 18 months and had severe separation anxiety however from the first settle session she has absolutely loved it and we have not had a single tear when going in.

All team members are so welcoming and supportive at all stages of my kids’s development. The assistance given whether it’s teething, potty training or speech, is exceptional, there is consistently someone that is able to help and guide us in the right direction. The facilities are excellent, especially having the area of soft playtime. My kids adore coming into childcare centre, and I would 100% suggest I have been with Hopscotch Day Childcare centre since it opened and cannot say a bad word towards it.

I promise you won’t regret it. Both of my kids have attended this childcare centre from toddlers up to pre school and they have never once been anything less than remarkable! To the point where my eldest who is now in year 1 still speaks of her time there fondly and loves getting to go back to collect my youngest and the youngest wants them all to come to her birthday party! If you send your kid to this childcare centre you will never have to worry about whether they’re being cared for properly or educationally stimulated or fed well or emotionally engaged with, these guys are the bees knees! This childcare centre is absolutely remarkable, if you’re considering sending your kid here do it!

My youngest has been there for 12-months, and she is so cheerful and content, literally runs threw the door without a backward glance. They are excellent at enriching the discovering of the kids whether by painting or outdoor activities or even by having animals visit, so far, we have had chicks, tadpoles, and guinea pigs. My eldest attended preschool before starting mainstream education, and Hopscotch gave her the best start to succeed at school. I can not suggest this childcare centre enough. Hopscotch Fareham has by far been the best childcare centre I have had my girls attend.
