October 21, 2020 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been with Holyrood Shaw since she was 11-months-old and has just joined the preschool room. She loves nursery and all of the staff who have created a nurturing environment and encouraged her development throughout. The various nursery rooms are spacious with lots of different activities for the children to explore. My daughter loves the outdoor space and activities they do outside. The staff and management are professional and have been fantastic throughout. I would highly recommend this nursery.

October 23, 2020 at 12:00 amAll four of my children have attended this nursery and I absolutely love it, as do they. I can go to work and not worry about them because I know they are fully looked after and all their needs are tended to. You can tell all the staff really do care about the children and the children love them all. I highly recommend this nursery! The nursery itself has lots to offer the children, they do plenty of activities with them and my children have learnt so much, my elder two, who are now in school were so prepared for school from learning so much at the nursery.

November 2, 2021 at 12:00 amMy 6 month daughter has been attending Holyrood Nursery Shaw for a month now. The opportunity to take her to settle sessions really eased my nerves and the manager was extremely helpful in organising there and answering all my questions. She has settled in really well and I think the staff who works in tweenies is fantastic. My daughter clearly feels comfortable around her. The nursery has also really helped me to wean her as the are trying her on different food every day.

They spend time telling you what your child has been up to whilst there.
they are always available to help with any questions I have.

December 9, 2021 at 12:00 amAll the staff are great. They all know my son and take time to greet him in the morning. They are all aware of his needs around his eczema and possible food allergies, which are catered for by offering a meal alternative to anything he can’t have. Update his food diary and myself with any foods he has had a reaction to. Time at the end of the day to give a full handover of 3what he has been up to that day. Observations and pictures regularly updated on the app which I love looking at and reading. All staff are fantastic and my son loves going to nursery.

December 9, 2021 at 12:00 amMy son has been at this nursery for 13 months. He’s transferred from just afternoons to full days. The staff have been great with him and keeping me up to date with how he is getting on and sending picture updates. The staff are very friendly and caring towards the children but also the parents.

I couldn’t recommend them enough, they get to know my children so well and I feel that they care and have pride in everything they do. Throughout Covid they have been excellent and not let it impact the children as much as they could.

February 10, 2022 at 12:00 amThe nursery indoors is set up great. Loads of different toys and areas to stimulate my son and he loves it, but the Holyrood Nursery Shaw team with their management and creative ideas help him to grow and learn new skills but also create a comfort zone of trust and care. He really loves it.
The only thing which I would like seeing improved is the outdoor area, in terms of more physically stimulating toys. Like something to ride, climb, swing. Playground things.

They have come on leaps and bounds with all aspects of learning since attending Holyrood and are very settled. Management is always helpful and my childrens key workers are so friendly and helpful.

When we drop her off, she runs inside excited, and when we pick her up, she is in a great mood. We really can’t thank the staff enough for all the effort, support and care they show our child. We couldn’t be happier and are very excited for our second child to start there soon!

I can tell how much the staff care as well as being friendly and professional. I can tell how much he loves nursery, and he has developed so much in the last six months.

July 23, 2023 at 12:00 amMyself and my wife really love Holyrood Nursery. Our child learns so much and is excited in the mornings to go, and can’t tell us enough about their day when they come home. The staff are all super friendly and really intuitive. They understand how to connect with the kids and they give great feedback on development. We can’t recommend it here enough.

Really good with updates and have been very supportive with his medical conditions. Staff are very approchable and he has grown to love and respect them all.
Also he loves the meals.
