It offers something a bit different to the other places we had seen. The resources are lovely and encourage creativity and curiosity for early years discovering. The group spaces are super spacious with lots of room and a light sense. The team are lovely and its truly refreshing to see a diverse, representative workforce which includes quite a few male care givers. My little boy loves it there. We looked at quite a few nurseries in both the city centre and in South Liverpool but I knew before finishing my viewing for Holyrood Day Childcare centre Princes Dock that my little boy would be going there.

Consistently there if you need something /have a question. The manager is doing excellent in her new role and she has progressed so much in the past 2 years. Some lovely team members that are there for a while now and make this childcare centre one of the best from Liverpool. Team so supportive.

My boy has been there for just over a year and I couldn’t be happier with his development. He is cheerful to go in everyday and consistently smiling when I collect him. The team have been fantastic from day one. The team in the baby room know my son inside out and consistently make him sense comfortable. The explorers’ room he is in now where his key worker helps him to shine. But, all the team know the kids inside out and my son is consistently discovering new things from different carers. I also adore that they have male childcare centre team as I think that it’s important for a kid growing up to have different role models to look up to. What a childcare centre.

She started in September 2020 at 10 months old and settled in quickly. Due to Covid she had hardly socialised at all so I am delighted how she has come on and how much she loves going to childcare centre! She is 14 months now and it’s helped her self‑assurance with milestones such as eating with cutlery, crawling, playing with others, discovering and talking. She is about to walk too and it’s a excellent setting as they have normal furniture etc in the baby room so she can learn safely and explore all the enjoyable stuff as well as normal stuff like using the armchair to walk and balance. The manager was excellent from the initial viewing which she accommodated on a Saturday for us. I sense like she and the team truly care about and know my kid which is fantastic. The manager and the team are highly easy to reach, they consistently accommodate any requests quickly.
My daughter settled in well, she loves the team.

The updates over the pandemic has been exceptional. We were consistently updated throughout and they were highly accommodating with any changes we had to make. I just want to comment on how excellent the childcare centre has been over the last few months.

Team is so expert, nice and properly look after our kids. When we leave them in the morning we just sense that they are secure, cheerful and in a great setting. It’s like part of our home. Everyone is smiling at the kids. Educators are so great and I truly suggest this childcare centre to everyone.
The discount month helped us lots, and was like a bonus and Santa made the Christmas spirit more special. Thank you again! I have not enough words to thank all the team for being able to settle both our sons to the childcare centre.

She has additional needs and is currently awaiting an autism diagnosis and they have looked after her so well. She is currently in pre school there and all the team welcome her, understand her ways and triggers and go out of their way to help her (even coming in on days off for meetings).
The team share her development with us and us with them and we have a excellent relationship. They are welcoming, empathetic and consistently go above and beyond to ensure a welcoming, secure and welcoming setting for our daughter.
She enjoys coming to childcare centre and we are highly grateful to them – I will be highly sad when my daughter leaves them as they have created a excellent space for her to be a part of and not only does our daughter adore them but we, her parents also adore the team there who work highly hard on creating a secure and cheerful space for all. Holyrood Childcare centre have been exceptional with my daughter.

Our daughter recently moved up to the next room, my wife and I were a bit anxious as she has hip problems and we were concerned for her moving to a bigger room. The team and management were remarkable and made us sense at ease about the decision, a care plan has been put in place for our daughter and she is absolutely thriving in the next room! She is not at a disadvantage with not being able to walk as they added lots of things into the room to help her cruise. She loves childcare centre and so do we. Truly cheerful with the care provided at Holyrood Childcare centre Princes Dock.

I had been anxious about him going into childcare centre and being away from me as he was a lockdown baby. I had nothing to worry about as the team in Holyrood are remarkable! Within a week or two of my son starting in his room we noticed such a change in him becoming more confident and his development truly came on. The app is exceptional as it allows me to see how his day is going and what meals he’s had and how much he has eaten. The childcare centre consistently looks spotless even after a full day of playing! My son loves going in which makes it easier for me to leave him, and the girls consistently make a fuss which he loves! The updates from the childcare centre is spot on with them ringing to get permission to give calpol and a courtesy call when my son bumped his head, which was excellent as they reassured me he was ok and when I followed up later in the day made me sense at ease. Incredible team and incredible childcare centre! My son started Holyrood Childcare centre Princes Dock when I returned to work in August 2021.

Luckily my kid has a parent with knowledge of a care plan and what is expected of a childcare centre to care for a kid with needs.
They are not inclusive and they have treated my kid with excellent disregard.
The new childcare centre manager is completely unhelpful. The childcare centre is massively understaffed. They cannot meet the needs of a kid that requires any additional help or care. The manager lacked compassion and empathy.
The Operation Manager was highly supportive and wanted to resolve it.
However, comments made by the Manager proved how she can disregard kids. Kids with needs should be met with kindness and a expert outlook. This is not the case at this childcare centre. I have been forced to report such conduct to Ofstead. If you are considering putting a kid with any additional needs into the care of this particular childcare centre please do not.

Best decision. It provided an exceptional setting for her growth and development. The team were incredible. They were nurturing, patient, and attentive to her needs. It was evident that they genuinely cared. Their dedication made us sense she was in great hands. We received updates on her daily activities and development via an app. She was exposed to a variety of stimulating activities that aid to develop her cognitive, social, and creative skills. We were impressed with the range of educational materials. Outdoor playtime was an important aspect of her time. The spacious and secure area provided her with ample opportunities for exercise and exploration. The childcare centre was spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with age-appropriate toys and discovering materials. My daughter consistently looked forward to her time at the childcare centre, and we felt comfortable leaving her in such a welcoming and secure setting. They provided nutritional meals and snacks throughout the day. Our daughter went to Holyrood Childcare centre.

Their ethos around loose parts and natural resources lets him use every part of his imagination during playtime! All the activities are based around his interests ensuring he is consistently engrossed in his own discovering and development. They also have a remarkable outdoor area for a childcare centre that is based in the city centre this is rare to find! Would absolutely suggest this childcare centre to everyone! My son absolutely loves attending Holyrood Childcare centre Princes Dock!

She’s loving it and we couldn’t be happier with her care! She’s also vegan and the team have been excellent with her dietary requirements. My baby wasn’t cheerful at her last childcare centre so I was nervous starting her here.

My daughter struggled with shyness after this year of being anti socialised due to covid. Since she started a month ago the difference in her self‑assurance is incredible and lovely to see and she has developed so much within that short amount of time. The team are consistently so inviting and welcoming and it’s nice to sense completely at ease leaving her with them all. Can’t say enough how excellent this childcare centre and team are.

She’s due to finish in August when she goes to school and has absolutely thrived here. The management team is responsive and accommodating of special requests, the facilities are outstanding, with lots of space for each age group as well as for the kids to playtime both indoors and outdoors. There is a excellent emphasis on imaginative playtime as well as a library and outdoor classroom. Despite the pandemic, we’ve noticed a lot of investment in the childcare centre, which is appreciated. The team have been just outstanding and have truly bonded with our daughter in such a attentive way, to the extent that it has been a wrench when some have left and will be when she leaves in a few months time. Our little boy has just started in the baby room and the team working there are incredible, particularly during the settle sessions for him as a lockdown baby unused to social contact. The Princes Dock team deserve an award. Our daughter has been at the childcare centre since October 2017 when she was ten months old.

From start to finish everybody has been incredible and in just two weeks my little girl has settled amazingly and has so much enjoyable. Cannot fault anybody at the childcare centre they are all so supportive and nothing is ever too much trouble. I was so worried about my baby starting childcare centre.

We’ve had to change our daughter’s dietary requirements quite a few times which has never been a bother. My little girl absolutely loves coming to childcare centre.
She’s consistently cheerful and smiles and she adores the team, especially her key person!

She quite literally skips in each morning and her face lights up when she sees the team.
The app updates of meals, sleep and activities truly does help us see and read about their time at childcare centre. It’s a joy to open up the app and see those ‘moments’ it shows us parents how much enjoyable they are having and how much they are discovering.
The team are excellent with my daughter and now we are able to go into the room to drop off and collect I am able to engage with them more about my kid’s development.
I’m so cheerful with my kid’s experiences at Holyrood. My daughter attends Holyrood Childcare centre Princes Dock and is currently in Explorers room.
