Holly Tree Montessori

We are extremely happy with the care our children get at Holly Tree.
Our four year old has recently moved into the preschool and has thrived. Whilst quiet at first his confidence has grown and We have the staff to thank for that. They have spent time helping our son and we get regular updates and are fully involved with his progress. The range of activities he does is fantastic and he gets such a varied experience every day.
Our 11 month old recently started in the baby room and she settled so quickly. We are given a thorough handover at the end of every session and we feel confident that our daughter is in the best possible environment.
The best thing about Holly Tree are the staff. They are all so friendly, professional and knowledgeable and you can tell that they really care about the children.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Holly Tree and am so glad that we decided to send our children here.

My little girl has been going to the nursery now from September and absolutely loves her time there now. The staff have been very supportive of all her complex needs around food. I get really amazing updates about my little girls progress at the end of every day and through the app. I honestly couldn’t wish for a better nursery for my little girl. She learns so much every time she is there I see how she is advancing.

Our little girl has been attending Holly Tree for a long time now – starting in the Baby Room and is now gradually transitioning into Preschool!
Holly Tree is the perfect environment for her; her individual needs are catered for and she is empowered to be exactly who she is. From the second that we drop her off to the second that we pick her up, we know that our little one is happy. Both us and herself have confidence in the staff she is with throughout the day and trust that her day is child lead and nurturing. Her independence is recognised and actively encouraged, and we cannot that the folks at Holly Tree enough for all that they for her – she loves it there.
Ps. Having an on site chef is a big win in the eyes of our little girl!

My little one has been at Holly Tree for over a year now and its the best decision we have made. The relationships in the classrooms and between the teachers and children are so lovely. The children are treated with absolute respect and given so much choice on what they would like to do. My little boy is excited to go in everyday and I am excited to see what he has done that day on the private social media group. The food is clearly very tasty as the menu sounds incredible and there is rarely a day where he hasn’t had two portions.

A warm and nurturing place where the children are really valued and their interests taken into account. We have two girls there, fifteen months and three and a half years old and they have both always loved going. We feel really supported with their development and love the provision provided.

We are lucky enough to have two children that both attend Holly Tree Montessori. Our eldest who is two and our youngest who is one.
Our two year old has been going for over a year now and has developed so well. She loves going and the staff are always attentive to her and what she needs. The staff like to mix up the activities and keep her entertained. I was really impressed in the early days before she developed her sign language the staff taught her how to sign for things and this helped us at home too. We could communicate with our child and understand what she needed. The work cycles are interesting and keep her attention.
Our second child has now been going for two weeks. He has settled in a dream. It’s daunting as a parent to hand over your baby, but I’m filled with confidence from the staff’s ability and the quality of the handovers at the end of the day.
We put all our trust into the nursery and I’m glad we choose Holly Tree!

Visited Holly Tree for grandparents day, what a wonderful welcoming experience from the moment I arrived. The staff were welcoming, but more importantly, they were all about the safety and well-being of the children. All the children were happily enjoying a variety of activities, with the freedom to change activities as they wished. I experienced painting and story time before tea arrived, which smelt amazing. The children were exceptionally behaved and obviously enjoying their time within a caring, fun, educational environment. It was lovely to see such a happy group of children. A perfect environment for growing, curious minds. The work you do with the children is exceptional. Thank you for doing such an amazing job.

The communication about my child is brilliant, with daily updates verbally and written in the book.
The app also gives an insight into the progress my child is making and some tips about activities to do at home to further support her progress.
The staff are consistent, which is something I think is valuable for my child and in reassuring me as a parent.

What to say about the lovely Holly Tree? We looked high and low for a nursery that was calm, quiet, caring, nurturing of emotional well being and responsive. Montessori was the added bonus of Holly Tree. The core is Montessori which is a great start in life for children. We were so apprehensive about leaving our oldest at nursery but the Holly Tree experience has been truly wonderful. They communicate really clearly, treat every child as an individual and prioritise each child’s interests and needs. The management team are highly responsive and they answer queries in a heartbeat. The chef has also catered for our vegan children amazingly and the food is better than at home! I have never felt our children have been overlooked. If you’re considering it, send your children here. It’ll be the best thing you can do for them if not working isn’t an option for your family. Our 3-year-old is caring, kind, understands other children can say no to him and is very independent.

My oldest daughter attended this nursery until she started preschool. Now my youngest 10 month old has started in September. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and always keep you up-to-date with everything. Highly recommend as both my girls settled in very well and are happy going to nursery.
