September 5, 2024 at 10:07 amIt’s a huge part of her life and she loves going there. The team are very supportive to her individual needs, and they encourage her to grow in self‑assurance and personality. Holly Lodge Nursery was very supportive throughout covid, providing regular updates and zoom meetings for the kids to stay in touch, which meant so much in those early months. We’re very grateful for all the fantastic members of team (past and present) who have formed such meaningful bonds with our daughter, and for all their hard work and dedication. We couldn’t suggest it enough! My daughter has been at Holly Lodge Nursery since she was 10 months and will soon be 4.

September 12, 2024 at 10:54 pmHe has learned so many skills. The team are really loving and care for my son with adore.
It is a really homely sense childcare centre, and I’m grateful that my son goes here, and my second kid will also be at Holly Lodge too! Thank you to all the team for settling my son so well after much anxiety. My son has settled so well into Holly Lodge Nursery.

September 18, 2024 at 5:56 amFrom the beginning, the team have been welcoming and supportive, and we sense 100% comfortable leaving him in their care.
Holly Lodge is a small, community focused childcare centre, which was very important to us when choosing a location. It has two lovely rooms and the outdoor area has recently been improved. Our son absolutely loves going there every day!
The team take excellent care selecting appropriate and enjoyable activities for the kids, and it’s lovely to see the relationships he builds with his carers and other kids.
We have recommended Holly Lodge to friends and know they are equally as pleased as we are, so really cannot rate it highly enough. Our son has been at Holly Lodge for just over a year, starting there when he was ten months old.

October 14, 2024 at 6:23 amOur daughter absolutely loves it and can’t wait to make her way to the childcare centre every day to meet her little friends and carers. She talks about them all the time and it takes me a great amount of time to persuade her to leave for home. We started trialling the childcare centre when our daughter was 11 months and gradually built her time. In the beginning, she was pretty shy, but now she runs around leading a group of her childcare centre friends and exploring all corners of the building. She has built self‑assurance and trust in herself and her abilities very quickly, and I can see her becoming more and more independent with every passing day, thanks to the hard work of the team. Each day we are provided with a personalised diary to see what she was up to and a digital weekly version with photos, videos, updates and next steps for her development. The food is also tasty, nutritious, fresh and cooked each day on the premises. Highly recommended. We are extremely lucky to have Holly Lodge Nursery on our doorstep.

October 23, 2024 at 5:45 pmShe absolutely loves it there and runs up the road in the morning, excited to start the day. In the aftermath of the pandemic, they have managed to provide a loving, stable setting for the kids and really know and understand my daughter and what makes her tick. The team are welcoming, and the online app interface is updated regularly with photos and activities that the kids have been up to. My daughter has been at Holly Lodge for close to two years now.

November 16, 2024 at 4:05 amThe team are compassionate and involved, and my daughter formed a strong attachment to them in a very short period. There are lots of enjoyable activities for discovering that vary every day. The team give thorough updates regularly, and they seem to genuinely care about my daughter and the other kids, relating sweet anecdotes about everyone at the end of the day. It’s a cheerful, homely daycare – I couldn’t suggest it enough! Holly Lodge is fantastic – my daughter loves it so much she gets upset when we leave.

January 31, 2025 at 10:07 pmThe educators are all very welcoming; it is felt that they adore kids and spend time with them with pleasure. My kid speaks of everyone only positively. I am very satisfied and suggest this childcare centre. Very great childcare centre.

February 1, 2025 at 6:50 amAll the caregivers are so full of adore and care as if they are looking after their own kids and more. They give hugs and wipe tears and noses, they talk and playtime. Key workers really engage with kids on individual bases and give a feedback and follow up on little tasks each every day. I sense an immense gratitude for all the care, attention and assistance I received as a parent for three long and difficult years. My son has been attending the childcare centre since he turned 8 months and not a day goes by that I am thankful for finding such a gem of a childcare centre in the heart of the little Holly Lodge community.

February 13, 2025 at 5:39 pmI honestly could not have been happier with it as a space for my little one to go. The team are just so fantastic, gentle, encouraging and adore what they do and that shines through in how the kids are there. It has this fantastic homely, cooperative setting which I valued so much for my son’s first childcare centre journey. The kids all interact so much, they’re like a little gang which can only happen in such a small and intimate setting with such warm people around them. It’s like a home from home. My son settled so quickly and consistently excited in the mention of team names and kids names. We are moving out of London and have been most devastated about Otis leaving Hollylodge. I could not suggest this cost, warm, enjoyable place. It truly is special. I got a recommendation to Hollylodge from one of my best friends whose little boy also goes there.

March 11, 2025 at 6:21 pmI chose Holly Lodge because the team are smiley, cheerful, calm, well‑informed, and engaged. It shines through that they really care about the kids and delight in spending time with them. I sense that my kid is properly cared for. He does lots of enjoyable things to help his development and his personal interests are catered for. His daily activities are recorded in photos and reports online on Tapestry and I receive regular reviews on his development. The cook is incredible and prepares nutritious meals and snacks. It might look like a bit of a shack, but actually, the indoor spaces and two outdoor playtime areas are excellent. Everything is organised and not cluttered. I particularly like the flexibility if I need extra hours or occasionally want to change them. My littlest is really attached to all the team and has made some excellent friends at the childcare centre. I have no hesitation in recommending Holly Lodge Nursery. My three-year-old son has attended Holly Lodge Nursery for nearly two years and really enjoys it.

March 17, 2025 at 2:23 amIt was our first childcare centre journey and a very positive one for us all. Its small size means there’s a family atmosphere, and the manager and all the team are really attentive and considerate, welcoming people. I have had no qualms about leaving my son in their care. I know they provide lots of assistance and encouragement to him – and cuddles too when needed! They provide us with frequent updates online and in person and an end-of-year parents’ evening where we discussed all aspects of my son’s development.
My son enjoys all the activities that the childcare centre offers and the food which is prepared fresh on-site. We have also enjoyed a day trip to the zoo and various parties at the childcare centre to celebrate eg the Queen’s Jubilee to which the parents have been invited.
Overall this has been a fantastic childcare centre for us and I just wish it was open all-year round! We’ve been very cheerful with Holly Lodge Nursery over the six months that my three-year-old son has been attending it.

April 2, 2025 at 9:51 amThe team are so welcoming, supportive and welcoming. They have an on-site chef that provides healthy, tasty meals, and this childcare centre has such a homely feeling to it. Since my kid has attended Holly Lodge, she has progressed massively, and we look forward to her future discovering and experiences with the childcare centre. Our daughter attends Holly Lodge, and we couldn’t suggest it more.

April 4, 2025 at 6:44 pmThe childcare centre has provided him with the best care and discovering, he is so cheerful to attend his two days where he learns every day through playtime. He has settled in extremely well all thanks to the remarkable, attentive expert team. The facilities, the food and experiences planned for the kids e.g trips to the zoo make it an exciting place to be and I cannot suggest Holly Lodge enough to all parents. I am looking forward to seeing his development in the future. Our son has been with Holly Lodge for the last three months and since he has been with the childcare centre we have noticed a massive progression.

April 18, 2025 at 2:27 amThey are very great at communicating development and development upon request. My son loves the childcare centre and comes out very cheerful each day! Thank you all! The childcare centre is very accommodating to offer additional hours and to change hours.

April 20, 2025 at 12:59 pmShe has been there since 9 months old and as a family we all have only positive things to say. All the team know who she is and what she’s done each day, and her key person is particularly attentive. They take her seriously. As parents we are given personalised feedback not only of essentials, but also her moods and what she’s done. All team and the lovely manager are very compassionate and patient both with our daughter and with our various parental anxieties. We all sense looked after! Beautiful, quiet position, excellent garden and toys. It feels like a home inside. Always a new activity/display/theme week/trip/party. We were anxious about sending our kid to childcare centre but from day one have felt Holly Lodge enriches her life journey. They’ve given self‑assurance, helped socially, taught her to share and explore. As a teacher myself, I have been impressed by the overall running of the childcare centre. Thank you Holly Lodge! Our two year old daughter loves Holly Lodge.

April 26, 2025 at 5:49 pmDevelopment is very important to us and we can see that Holly Lodge has a strong focus on this area with a great curriculum throughout the year. The team are welcoming, engaged and they have a strong connection with the kids. We sense that we can have a very open conversation with the management to ensure that our son is well supported. As parents we sense included in our son’s journey at the childcare centre through parents evenings and events. Happy to suggest this childcare centre to anyone in the area! Our son joined the childcare centre at 7 months (currently 2 years old) and he is cheerful, loved and very well cared for at Holly Lodge.

June 3, 2025 at 4:52 pmThe manager and her keyworker are especially thoughtful, and my daughter loves it so much. It’s a small gem hidden away. Amazing team everyone expert, so cheerful for my daughter attending and very lucky.

June 16, 2025 at 7:56 pmWe don’t have a village (i.e family nearby) to raise our kids; Holly Lodge Nursery has been that village. They are accommodating to kids’s and parents’ needs (even particular diets or styles of care), loving, and attentive. I’m not a fan of the new AstroTurf and would prefer more grass/dirt to playtime in, but you can’t beat air cleaned by the trees, big windows/doors out to the playtime yard, and the parks in the estate on your doorstep. Sometimes things are a little chaotic/misplaced and casual on the surface (but not actually in reality), and I like that vibe. It wouldn’t sense comfortable or like home-from-home if it was too corporate feeling (like so many other nurseries). They have an outstanding chef on site who makes lovely meals and snacks. We miss one member of team in particular and hope she comes back after her career break. The previous manager left at Easter, but I think the new one will continue this ethos. The childcare centre is my son’s home from home set among the leafy Holly Lodge Estate.

July 6, 2025 at 9:05 amWe did not journey this when viewing other nurseries. It is spacious and light, and it does not sense chaotic or overcrowded. It has a beautiful outside space for babies to playtime in, full of greenery an light. Since our daughter started there a coiuple of months ago she has become more confident and less shy, she’s consistently smiling when we pick her up and has a visibly close bond with the team members taking care of her. They have been very encouraging in getting her to forge her own independence in terms of physical mobility and eating, which are both areas we have struggled with, but without being pushy. She is generally a happier and more social kid since starting. Holly Lodge has a uniquely homely and nurtutring setting, which my husband and I both felt as soon as we walked in.
