Hillside House Nursery - Lyth Hill

They delight in the outside activities, going to the farm, playing Kickstars, and all the creative activities baking, painting, and building different things.
The team are committed and care about the kids; they give extensive handover, either verbally or through the app. The childcare centre building is within a lovely location and feels like a home from home with 5 different rooms for ages and stages of development.
We are satisfied with the service and confident that our kids are well looked after while they are in Hillside House Childcare centre – Lyth Hill. Our two boys attend the childcare centre; the eldest started back in 2019.

My son has been there for just over three years. He has received the same high standard of care in each new room, from the baby room to pre-school. The management team are efficient and responds to any queries highly quickly. They run a exceptional childcare centre. The outside space is incredible, with so much room and different things to journey. I found throughout pre-school that there is a well-thought-out balance between enjoyable/playing and developing for starting school. The highly attentive team know my son so well, and he is as relaxed and as cheerful there as he is at home. I can not fault this childcare centre.

Our son moved to the Lyth Hill location last year having previously attended Hillside’s second location; also remarkable! The move to Lyth Hill put us closer to home and means my son will likely move up to the local school with some fellow preschool buddies. The lovely team ensured the transition went smoothly, even during a global pandemic!
My son is so excited to attend each week, and we adore hearing the remarkable range of activities he gets up to each day from farm visits to imaginative playtime! The home-cooked food menu often has our mouths watering too! Team have worked hard to ensure highly little disruption has been encountered due to Covid, and we sense confident and well informed of the safety measures they have in place.
We know that over the next year Hillside will continue to nurture and assistance my son in his social and academic development ready for a highly cheerful and successful transition to school in 2022. We adore Hillside House!

She has loved all of the activities available including Forest School, Crafty Kitchen, Pyjama Drama and Kickstars football.
Hillside encourages a excellent foundation for the adore of reading, she brings home a new book each week. She has weekly letters and sounds input which she loves. This has set her up brilliantly for school and teaching friends regularly comment on her handwriting ability already, she can write her name and family member’s names unaided which peers in other settings cannot do. Some of this is encouraged at home but Hillside have built her self‑assurance massively and she is proud to show off what she can do.
She would rather spend time with mummy but team at Hillside make time to comfort her and settle her in with cuddles and comfort available when she needs it.
The outside space is incredible and is regularly used, kids often visit a local ‘farm’.
I cannot suggest Hillside enough! My daughter has been at Hillside House Childcare centre since she was 15 months old, she is due to start school in September.

My son went here in 2016 and following the childcare centre he has achieved excellent results in his discovering development. Currently my daughter went here too, just because I knew how incredible everything and everyone were I decided for her to go here even though it wasn’t right in our catchment area. The team are absolutely incredible and I can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done for my kids. The childcare centre manager has been working here for a highly long time and she has got lots of journey and is consistently able to help or answer any questions you may have. It was a real pleasure that my kids were part of Hillside House Childcare centre. A big thank you to everyone at Hillside especially to the manager. Many thanks from the heart for all your hard work, adore, dedication, and patience to the kids, and for keeping personal belongings in order (toys, clothes), helping with potty training, attentive when they were not feeling well, making everyday a enjoyable setting to go to which was also highly important.

As she had only just settled at a childcare centre in London, we were nervous about how she would adapt, but thanks to the fantastic team she has settled truly well. She is discovering lots of fantastic signs and skills and we are highly pleased we chose Hillside. My daughter has been at Hillside House Childcare centre – Lyth Hill since the end of November 2022 and is thriving.

We have complete faith in the team in every room, their attitude and expertise towards the kids is second to none. In every room we have felt well supported and informed about our kid’s development and development as well as day-to-day activities. They have remarkable outdoor space, forest school facilities and food choices. There is also a lovely nurturing sense to the childcare centre and my son has developed some lovely relationships with the educators over the 4 years he has attended. We have booked our second kid to start next year, I would suggest this childcare centre to anyone. We have had a fantastic journey of Hillside House Childcare centre, our kid has attended since he was 11 months.

This is an incredible childcare centre and both my kids have been highly cheerful here. The team are lovely and attentive and I know my kid is in the best hands when he attends. As a parent, I have also got excellent relationships with the team – we can have a chat/banter – this is important to me also. I have seen my kids develop before my eyes and I know this is through the activities and structure that is so well thought out. This childcare centre also has a lovely forest school and outside playtime areas which were important to me as a parent when choosing a childcare centre.
I will be sad when my son goes to school and we no longer get to come to this lovely place. I have no hesitation recommending Hillside to other parents looking for a childcare centre. My son attends Hillside House Childcare centre as did his sister previously.

It fills me with excellent sadness to leave this fantastic Childcare centre where I can’t praise the team enough. Every day they have shown nothing but professionalism and excitement in their role. They consistently have time to talk you through your kid’s day, and I couldn’t ask for any more for the care they show. Updates is consistently exceptionally great through handovers and emails. My son has consistently enjoyed the food and his favourite thing is of course a football game, which has truly increased his self‑assurance. What they have on offer is way beyond what I ever expected from a childcare centre. Hillside highly much feels like a family and our son, as well as us, will miss them highly much and we can’t wait for our youngest to start! My son has attended Hillside for the last 2.5 years, due to start primary school in September.

He was incredibly cheerful here. We consistently felt comfortable leaving our son in the care of the team at Hillside. All the team are welcoming and truly do make the kids sense secure, secure and loved. Thank you to the manager and team at Hillside for giving my son the best start and for supporting us on the journey of navigating through being a first-time parent. We couldn’t suggest you highly enough. Our son attended Hillside from the age of 10-months-old and loved all of his first 4 years at the childcare centre from the baby room up to pre-school.
