DirectionsBased at 43 Britannia Road - look out for the green gate an large banner on the fence. Please push the gate to enter and walk through to the front door and ring the bell. If the green gate is locked because the children are playing in the garden please ring the bell to the right and a staff member will let you in.

My son has developed truly lovely relationships with both team and other kids who attend and certainly enjoys his time there! My son has attended Hillside for almost a year and a half and I can not fault them!
I trust them completely to care for my kid, while making sure he is cheerful and secure.

Our son has been highly comfortable at the childcare centre from day one and truly enjoys the activities, especially forest school, where students explore and learn outdoors. The team are consistently welcoming, approachable and comprehensive in the reports for where our son is progressing and his areas for development. They strike a excellent balance of care, enjoyable and education. Hillside has shown real dedication and commitment to supporting our son with additional needs.

My eldest daughter has been coming here for 3 years and the consistent staffing means that she has built genuine strong attachments to her key workers. My daughter was so settled here that I maintained her sessions throughout my maternity leave, despite living a half hour drive away. Returning to work after maternity leave with my son was made so much easier because I was confident that he would adore it here – and he does.
We are leaving Bristol in the summer and have had to try and find a childcare centre in our new city that we like as much – Hillside has set the bar pretty high! We will truly miss the Hillside team and their outstanding care. I have two kids currently at Hillside Day childcare centre, in baby room and pre-school, and I am highly cheerful with my decision to send my kids here while I am at work nearby.

April 16, 2025 at 5:21 pmHe goes here 5 days a week and never comes home in a down mood, they consistently ensure they do various activities and ensure that you are up to date with your kid development. He has come on leaps and bounds thanks to their help and he will be sad to move on to school in September from here, This childcare centre was recommended to me and I would most defiantly suggest them to anyone. My son has been going to this childcare centre since he was 11 months old and he is now 4.5 years old, he absolutely loves all the team here and enjoys going to childcare centre.

May 13, 2025 at 7:57 amThe level of care from all the team is outstanding and I know she is in great hands from the minute I drop her off. They have truly taken time to get to know her and guide her in her development. The updates is excellent so I am fully up to date on what she has been doing each day. She is highly cheerful there and enjoys all aspects and varied activities the pre school offers. I will be sad to see her leave for school. I fully suggest this childcare centre to anyone who is looking for a attentive, welcoming childcare. My daughter has been attending the pre school for the past year and they have been incredible with her.
