He has grown to become independent, talkative and the curiosity approach has expanded his imagination more than we could have hoped for. This childcare centre has given him so much self‑assurance and he has a group of little people he calls his friends. The team are welcoming and consistently there to listen and to answer any questions we may have. He really has come on leaps and bounds since joining and we couldn’t be more thankful to the team. Hedgehogs Day Childcare centre Rochester has been a breath of fresh air for my son.

October 22, 2024 at 7:54 pmSo much so, that all weekend he recites to us the names of team members and his peers, he enjoys all aspects of childcare centre life; discovering, playing and interaction with other kids. Every day is a new adventure! Hedgehogs Rochester is a fabulous childcare centre and our young son is extremely cheerful here.

October 25, 2024 at 1:58 amShe loves it, has made many friends there and looks up to her adult carers. It is very well organised, and the team are lovely and responsive to any type of queries and attentive to parents’ requirements and preferences in terms of kids’s care, such as diet, sleep etc.
The location right on Jacksons Fields is ideal. The space is organised like a home, with life-like objects and no noisy, plastic toys at all and no digital distractions, and focused on as much time outdoors each day as possible regardless of weather. That reassures me as a parent that most of her day is spent in a wholesome, active and kid-led setting – which we all know is much harder to achieve at home, especially in lockdown. I have heard it from many and can confirm that Hedgehogs is hands down the best childcare centre in and around the Rochester area. Hedgehogs is a lovely childcare centre, which my daughter has been attending for a year and a half now.

October 27, 2024 at 4:30 pmI have a three-year-old and a one-year-old there, two days a week and they both adore going. I rarely even get a backward glance these days once the door it open. The use of Tapestry to see photos of what they get up to each day is handy, so we can have “how was your day” conversations with our three-year-old. The team are expert, attentive and well qualified. They have been very supportive in continuing things like EC (early potty training) from home, catering to our daughter’s food intolerance’s and easing our super-clingy son into childcare centre life, he is now right at home. I would (and have) recommended Hedgehogs Day Childcare centre Rochester if you’re looking for a attentive, stimulating and enjoyable place for your kid to spend their time when they’re away from you. Hedgehogs Day Childcare centre Rochester is a high-quality childcare centre where both of my kids are extremely well cared for.

November 29, 2024 at 9:18 pmThe team are fantastic, the activities they do with the kids throughout the day are exceptional. We adore seeing what they’ve been doing throughout the day on the app. They have lots of outdoor time which the girls adore. The food is really healthy and nutritious. The opening times are perfect for working parents. No mad rush in the morning before work and no clock watching during meetings in fear you’ll be late! So cheerful with the foundation this childcare centre is setting for our girls future. We adore this childcare centre, our twins have been coming here since they were 11 months old.

December 29, 2024 at 6:31 pmPlease. Then perhaps we can up our daughter’s days as the waiting list is so long! And quite rightly so. Our daughter has been coming here for 2 days a week since July last year and we are thrilled with the level of attention the team pay to our specific family requests. She absolutely loves it and repeats everyone’s names over and over and over again. All day long! The Hedgehogs Day Childcare centre Rochester setting is remarkable with the park just behind them and a kitchen big enough that the older kids can get involved discovering about food. The only negative is the wait at the front door that Covid has brought but they are making arrangements to address that issue. They stay open later than some of the others and there is barely any plastic in sight. The kids are often playing and climbing outdoors and the daily updates with (blurry?) photos really sets your mind at ease. Even though the team must work very long days they are consistently very cheery on pickup. We couldn’t be happier. Don’t send your kid here.

I think the team are absolutely remarkable and they are one of the key reasons this childcare centre is such a success and why my daughter loves it so much. She talks about the team and the other kids all the time!
I adore the curiosity approach that the childcare centre uses and they spend lots of time singing, reading books, playing in the garden and often exploring the local area. They have a varied menu and are able to provide for my daughter’s dietary requirements.
My daughter absolutely loves it there and I know the team really care for her and they have helped her grow into a confident, resilient and sociable little girl. My little girl started with Hedgehogs Day Childcare centre Rochester when she was 9 months old in the baby room.

January 30, 2025 at 3:39 amThe team and the playtime they do with the kids is next level he has come on in leaps and bounds since joining with his speech, with his attentive of other, his sharing the list is endless.
I cannot rate them and thank them enough, sending him here was the best decision. Special mention to two team in the Hogletts room, two very attentive, patient and lovely ladies, consistently a joy to speak to and keep us posted of the compassionate of day our son has had and they also contact me on the app if he is having an off etc. Our son has been going to Hedgehogs since he was 1.

February 13, 2025 at 3:56 pmThe team at the childcare centre are attentive, well‑informed and experienced. My daughter loves going there. She leaves home cheerful and returns excited to share what she has done during the day. I receive regular updates when I pick her up and get to see the activities on Tapestry, the childcare centre online portal that has photos, updates and a care diary. My daughter’s speech has been progressing rapidly since she started childcare centre and I could not be more pleased with her development. She is cheerful, adjusted and has made friends there. I would highly suggest Hedgehogs Day Childcare centre Rochester. My daughter has been attending Hedgehogs Day Childcare centre Rochester since July 2020.
