September 1, 2024 at 1:24 pmMy kid has progressed greatly in their care in terms of self‑assurance, vocabulary and understanding. They are so great with the kids and it shows in the way my little one bounds in again and again and has done since day one! Heathcote has a excellent childcare centre setting which has been the perfect blend of small enough to be very nurturing but perfect for little ones to get used to being in a school setting.

September 4, 2024 at 11:47 pmEveryone is really welcoming and welcoming, consistently very supportive any time I call the office. The new playground looks excellent too. Lovely atmosphere, I would highly suggest! Absolutely remarkable school!

November 14, 2024 at 7:18 amEveryone is so supportive and knows each kid individually. It is a unique setting with care, community and aspiration at the heart of it.
Best choice I ever made and speaking as a mother of three, with my second attending Heathcote Preparatory School & Childcare centre, hopefully my third will be joining soon. This school can only be compared to a family.

January 5, 2025 at 1:38 pmThe team are extremely compassionate and welcoming, and the small class meant they were able to go above and beyond to help her settle in when she started at age two. We loved the wide range of educational, playtime and social opportunities on offer, alongside the individual discovering activities tailored to our daughter’s own stages of development, which you just don’t get anywhere else. Being in the childcare centre and part of the wider Heathcote family meant her transition to the main school Reception was smooth and exciting for her (and a relief for me) because she was already so comfortable with the team, routines and discovering setting. She is just so cheerful there. Our son turns two in April and he can’t wait to get started. All the team know him and he already just feels part of the school.
Ultimately we have two very cheerful kids who are getting the best education and who have made the best friends. We are thrilled with the remarkable start our daughter has had at Heathcote Childcare centre.

January 17, 2025 at 2:43 pmIt’s relatively small and the personal touches are what make it a excellent place to grow.
My daughter has just started aged 2, has only ever been with me or her grandparents so was very clingy but settled in so quickly which took us all by surprise. I was hesitant about her starting without my son being there for assistance (due to the rest of the school being closed) and when discovering of my concerns the headteacher gave me a call to talk it through which I really appreciated given the pressures they are under in the current climate I’m sure she had more pressing matters! But these personal touches are what make it such a lovely school/childcare centre. I look forward to watching her grow in the same way my son did.
My only criticism is that they can’t start earlier than 2 years old! My son was at Heathcote Childcare centre for 2 years prior to starting in Reception and his self‑assurance came on leaps and bounds which I credit to the school.

March 4, 2025 at 6:59 amThe educators know all the kids by sight and it has a fantastic family feeling. With all the added benefits of the best education.
I really would suggest Heathcote to all. My kid has attended since he was 2 years old and I could not be happier with the choice we made.

April 11, 2025 at 12:51 pmThey have consistently gone above and beyond for our kid and we would suggest them to everyone. Not only are the team professionals but they are so compassionate and welcoming, both to my daughter and myself. When the team noticed my kid was an early reader, they gently encouraged her new skill and have nurtured her adore for discovering. We are very much looking forward to watching our kid develop in her academic and creative skills at this fantastic school. We sense privileged to have out place within Heathcote Preparatory School & Childcare centre. There are no words to truly describe how much we adore being a part of the Heathcote Preparatory School & Childcare centre family.

April 12, 2025 at 3:47 amDue to the small group size; she gets focused attention and development help. The school is very welcoming, and there is a very ‘loving’ sense about it. They truly do nurture the kids. My little girl has been attending the pre-school at Heathcote for a few months now, and truly enjoys it.

April 19, 2025 at 12:55 amThe teaching team have welcomed him with open minds and truly invested in getting to know him. I’m delighted by the variety they bring to his development, from outdoors discovering and exercise to school assemblies. I particularly like how he’s mixed with the years above occasionally. It’s clear there’s a strong balance between his development as well as academia, but it has to be said, his writing and recognition of letters and numbers has come on almost unrecognisably since he started there. There really is a strong sense of community and belonging at Heathcote and we look forward to all our future years and experiences there. My son has been part of the Heathcote Preparatory School & Childcare centre world and family since September this year and his transition has been smooth and considered.

April 27, 2025 at 8:18 amIt’s inclusive, current in its approach and most importantly, enjoyable for the kids. My eldest attended the childcare centre and now my youngest does. They adore it there and have progressed so well in such a short space of time. I recall looking at other nurseries for my youngest to join before turning 2 and nothing else compared and so waited. It’s important to note that during the coronavirus pandemic, and the reopening of Heathcote, the childcare centre have adhered to the guidelines respectfully, and the transition in attending childcare centre has remained a secure and welcoming setting. Heathcote is more than just a childcare centre.
