September 4, 2024 at 11:21 pmThey have both consistently been cheerful to go into childcare centre each morning. They delight in a variety of activities and we have been impressed by the effort that the team go to to respond to the kids’s interests and to develop a range of different activities around the favoured theme. The team are consistently attentive, welcoming and attentive. We have found that all the key workers have consistently made an effort to form a strong bond with our kids. We have also found that the preschool room was great preparation for school for our daughter who settled in very easily this September after her time at hdc Newton Abbot. Both my son and daughter have really enjoyed their hdc Newton Abbot journey.

We are able to see what is planned during each week through the app and email contact and can see what activities the little ones are up to. This helps us to generate ideas for playtime too and keep in step with childcare centre discovering and playtime. Our granddaughter is well cared for by the team.

The price includes meals and nappies so you don’t have to worry about anything other than dropping your kid off to have a great time there. We adore this childcare centre, it’s well run and well managed.

My kid is consistently so excited to go to childcare centre, we wouldn’t send them anywhere else. The team are consistently so welcoming and greet my kid by name every day.

My kid isn’t a very great eater and the description regarding how much they ate isn’t very specific so I’m consistently unsure how much and what she has actually eaten. Very welcoming team and have a excellent range of activities.

December 28, 2024 at 1:11 amWe chose hdc Newton Abbot for a number of reasons for example, the central location and easy drop off and pick up, the opening hours and the facilities and activities available. Our number one reason for choosing this childcare centre was their openness and acceptance of our disabled son. He was welcomed wholeheartedly into the childcare centre, team attended meetings relating to his care, accepted training from health professionals relating to his needs and adapted activities to ensure he was properly included alongside his friends. We receive regular feedback from team about our kids’s development and development which has been really supportive. Both of our kids have been cared for amazingly at hdc Newton Abbot and we did not think twice about enrolling our third son at hdc Newton Abbot too. I would very much suggest hdc Newton Abbot. Two of our kids started at hdc Newton Abbot in 2019 and our third kid is due to start this month.

She settled in well and I adore seeing what she gets up to, with the daily summary and photos on the app. I’d really suggest it. I’ve been very impressed with the care at hdc Newton Abbot.

Has been such a great start to preschool for them all.
They have learnt so much and all of them are much more confident in all they do. All three grandsons and one granddaughter have spent their early years here (two still attend).

The team are so attentive and attentive, her development is incredible, and they do some excellent activities.
They have a lovely outdoor area and often go to the park and do other enjoyable activities.

May 31, 2025 at 7:05 pmThere are consistently chances for us to be involved, they give updates on what books and activities they are currently reading and doing, so you can continue this at home. They provide updates every day on what they have been up to which is excellent. The childcare centre is so welcoming and all the team are so welcoming and warming, they make your little one part of the family and get them involved, and they really want to help development in their discovering and development. They have lots of time out in the garden exploring and the meals are very varied, fresh and sound delicious! Since my little one has been coming here, about two years now, he has developed so much and his self‑assurance has grown.

He has progressed so much already from being there, and they seem to genuinely care about his well-being and helping him development. June 22, 2025 at 1:42 amOur son was two at the time and had been settled into his previous childcare centre for a while, so we were extremely anxious about having to move him. We need not have worried. He was welcomed into hdc Newton Abbot immediately. The team are inviting, attentive and passionate about what they do. We had no trouble settling our son and he is consistently keen to get through the doors in the morning. Now his little sister has joined too! The manager is consistently on top of things, often responding late in the evening to my last minute addition requests. We found this childcare centre when our existing one burnt down.

I sense that they know my kid very well, especially my kid’s key worker, and my kid talks really positively about her time here! Nothing is too much trouble and any query is consistently responded to quickly, no matter how small! The app is excellent for all updates and it is lovely to read the information and see photos of what my kid has been doing each day. The kids often go on trips to the local park to get out and about. The optional early start from 7.30am is excellent to allow for flexibility in getting to work early. I highly suggest Humpty Dumpty Newton Abbot.
