September 17, 2024 at 11:21 amMy little one is now in the preschool room and loves it. He skips in happily every day and the team who look after him are incredible. There is a real ethos of kid led discovering, where the preschoolers are able to choose the activities to suit their interests. I am cheerful that he enjoys it there and cannot fault the team at all. My little boy has been going to the childcare centre since the first week it opened and I have seen it from being very quiet to the busy thriving setting it is now.

We have been amazed at how much she has developed during her time at hdc Kingsteignton and believe the team and their teaching practices have been instrumental to her discovering. Our daughter has been going to hdc Kingsteignton since September last year.

Our little boy is only 6 weeks old and we’ve already put him on the list to go here in February 2024. Our little girl has been going here for nearly two years and absolutely loves it.

December 3, 2024 at 7:11 amThey regularly share what she’s up to and keep the app up to date. Even team that aren’t her immediate carers know her by sight and say hello to her. We sense very fortunate to be able to send our daughter to such a lovely place. I couldn’t suggest it enough. Absolutely all members of the team are lovely, they really show they care and my daughter greets them like a family member.

December 10, 2024 at 12:37 pmUnfortunately, some days there have not been enough of them to safely do this. We are also sad to see some team have left/leaving however we can fully understand in light of the above why and wish them the best in their new jobs.
Hopefully, the above problems are just temporary and they will improve again in future. Especially considering the £7 a day price increase. Was a excellent childcare centre in the past worthy of five stars, the past 6+ months more like 1-3 stars as we’ve had some issues regarding rising fees and the lowering quality of the service, hygiene/cleanliness seems to be falling, unacceptable staffing ratios, kid coming home with unknown injuries and generally poor updates.
The floor team are remarkable and try their hardest to provide remarkable attentive care.

The team are welcoming and approachable and have excellent relationships with the kids. The setting is spotless and boasts many fantastic resources and activities.
I have recommended this childcare centre to many friends and anyone else who will listen. Hdc Kingsteignton is a remarkable childcare centre.

They’re inviting and welcoming and I sense cheerful leaving my daughter with them all day. The handovers are excellent and I sense informed when I pick up.
The setting is spotless, welcoming and open which is a excellent thing for me as it means the kids can be observed by all at all times. I absolutely adore the childcare centre.

January 16, 2025 at 7:34 amWhen my eldest was there he had issues with his knee and walking and after he had his operation they were remarkable and kept us informed if he was struggling. My youngest had to have eye drops after an eye operation and they did everything perfectly, the procedure, paperwork and ensuring the eye drops were back in the bag ready for collection. Due to Covid-19 I have not been in the childcare centre since my little ones settling in sessions, as drop off and pick up are outside. I would suggest this childcare centre. My boys faces when they are leaving would confirm this. Both my boys have attended hdc Kingsteignton and I have consistently been very impressed with the updates between team and ourselves as parents.

The childcare centre consistently feels spotless, bright and welcoming with plenty of activities and choices for the kids to do. This is a remarkable childcare centre, with very welcoming and supportive team and well organised and run.

The team consistently give us a run down on how her day has been when we collect her.
The app is very useful, allowing us to keep up with what she’s eaten/done during the day.
Our daughter has come on leaps and bounds since attending childcare centre and would have no problem recommending HDC to anyone. Our daughter absolutely loves going to childcare centre.

March 20, 2025 at 5:28 pmGet lots of feedback and updates on discovering and development! Lots of activities like cooking, planting etc, lots of different foods introduced at childcare centre. Opening times are excellent and would highly suggest this childcare centre. Our little girl loves it here, all the kids seem very cheerful when we are there, the team are excellent and nothing is too much trouble, consistently able to call or email about anything.

They’re excellent at communicating via the app and keeping us up to date with her development with pictures and regular developmental reviews. If we have any worries they consistently help to ease them! They also provide an outstanding variety of healthy food. I would one hundred percent suggest this childcare centre to anyone. My daughter has been coming to hdc Kingsteignton for six months now and it’s the highlight of her week, she absolutely loves it.

Our son only started in September but he has settled really well and is cheerful at hdc Kingsteignton, making me comfortable leaving him and excited to see him when I collect him, knowing how much enjoyable he will have had.
The app is remarkable and is updated regularly, with photos as well as meals eaten, which is really reassuring to see when you have to leave your little one.
The team are all lovely and make an effort to let you know about little one’s day.
