I am very happy to wholeheartedly recommend Happy Stars to any parents looking for a fantastic place for their children to begin their nursery/education experience.
We have had one child come through Happy Stars and progress to school, with one still there and the best feedback I can give is that they have both been extremely happy there.
The staff/team at the nursery are great – always very friendly and professional, whilst being extremely proactive with keeping the children occupied with new and exciting things to do. We feel both of our children have developed really well whilst at the nursery which is a testament to the great work done by the staff.

Happy Stars is a really warm, caring and stimulating environment with wonderful staff. We sent our eldest there aged 1 after hearing rave reviews from parents locally. It’s a small business rather than a chain and it feels so personal and non-corporate. The staff are brilliant and there’s real consistency of care. They plan loads of very creative activities and there’s a great (and constantly evolving) range of things for the kids to do. There’s excellent outdoor space and the whole set-up is really relaxed and engaging (free flow indoor/outdoor, with lots of different play stations). Our youngest started recently (aged one) and has settled in quickly and happily, despite being a lockdown baby. Her big sister recently moved onto school and had a smooth and happy transition, helped no doubt by her time at Happy Stars and the confidence, security, positivity, kindness and curiosity nurtured there. Overall, it’s a fantastic nursery and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Our daughter and son have been through Happy Stars for the last 6 years. We only have great things to say. Wonderful caring staff who know the children really well. They’re excellent at matching activities to the children’s interests and encourage independence from an early age. The manager and her team have good knowledge of local schools and made helpful recommendations.
Both of our kids have loved their experience at Happy Stars. We highly recommend them.

Happy Stars Day Nursery is fantastic. My son is absolutely thriving under their brilliant care. His days are filled with creativity and adventure and his key worker and all of the staff are unfailingly supportive – of me too! They are there with advice and suggestions when asked and have constantly checked in throughout the pandemic. A really great bunch of people who have had such a positive impact on my son.

My daughter has been attending Happy Stars since she was 13-months-old and her last day will be on Monday as she starts big school on Tuesday. I can’t recommend this place enough. In the three years, my daughter has attended, she has flourished. The nursery has a family feel and I’m honestly gutted to be leaving as I love it as much as my daughter. There is so much to love about Happy Stars but highlights include the warm and caring staff, the fantastic chef, a big garden that is constantly updated to stimulate children’s interest and encourage activity and a huge focus on helping children become independent and self-motivated.

Our daughter started at Happy Stars 9 months ago and we could not be happier with the nursery. The staff are incredibly kind, caring, observant and thoughtful and clearly really care about the children. They have built a great relationship with our daughter – she goes off happily to staff every day and seems to love her time there. They were very supportive and reassuring during the initial settling in period. They do varied and creative activities and the children spend a lot of time playing in the garden. I would highly recommend Happy Stars.

We have been thrilled with our time at Happy Stars (almost 1 year). All of the carers are warm, patient and focused on the childrens well being. It’s also great that most of them have been working there for years and are very invested in the nursery. The environment is happy and inviting and the outdoor space has lots of different areas and activities for the little ones to independently explore as well as play in together. The carers also take guidance from, and encourage, the children’s interests and it is great to see the different ways that our son’s speech, motor skills and interpersonal skills have developed from his time at Happy Stars. The other families that attend happy stars are also very kind and welcoming and we feel incredibly lucky to be sending our son there. There’s nothing like seeing him excitedly run into the breakfast room in the morning and knowing that he feels comfortable, safe and welcomed in the environment!

Both of our children have attended Happy Stars Day Nursery. It is a wonderful nursery, with a well established team and great leadership. The care they’ve given our children is exemplary. Our younger child loves attending nursery, he has made lots of friends and enjoys the variety of activities. Our older son also loved it and we found that it prepared him well for starting school.

No complaints at all. We think that the teachers help our son to grow as a person, learn and become more independent and also better at sharing. He’s very happy there. He seems to enjoy the food, which looks healthy judging from the menu. The teachers are fantastic and you can tell they really care about the children. They also make sure the children are safe.
I fully recommend Happy Stars Day Nursery to any parents who want their child to grow emotionally, intellectually and as a person and most of all to have fun – after all, they only get one childhood.

My daughter has been going to Happy Stars for about 3.5 years and it’s like her second home. It’s a really special place and we feel very lucky to be able to send her there. The nursery is such a lovely environment, inside and out. The staff are wonderful, and they truly care about the interests, needs, and development of each and every child. My daughter thrives there and has the sweetest bond with her key worker, in fact all of the staff! We’ll really miss Happy Stars when she graduates this year.
