November 3, 2021 at 12:00 amHappy Days Nursery & Preschool – Cheswick Village has played an integral part in my daughter’s development. My daughter has attended Happy Days since she was 9 months old (she is now 3.5 years) which show how pleased we have been with the nursery.
The staff (especially her key worker who we have been fortunate to keep throughout her time at the nursery) are friendly, welcoming and very accommodating to the needs of both the children and parents.
The nursery setting is so lovely with lots of open space indoors and the garden is the perfect environment for the children to freely and safely run around.
I especially love how the nursery choose different topics/festivals to teach the children, which encourages diversity and educates them in a creative manner.
I would highly recommend Happy Days Cheswick to anyone in search of a nursery for their little one(s).

November 3, 2021 at 12:00 amMy 19-month-old daughter absolutely loves going to nursery at Happy Days. So much so that when I drop her off, she doesn’t even look back to wave me goodbye!
The staff are attentive and very friendly. They nurture her creativity and communication every single day. In fact, my daughter often comes home and teaches me the Makaton sign language she’s learnt that day.
Parents are given a daily face-to-face ‘debrief’ of the child’s day, so I’m fully informed about what my daughter has been up to. I can also log in to a secure group, to see pictures of her during the day (I know other nurseries have more advanced ways of doing this such as apps, but I’m assured this is something the nursery is looking into). There are always really lovely activities and weekly themes, and my daughter frequently brings home things she’s made.
Overall, I highly recommend Happy Days.

March 2, 2022 at 12:00 amOur daughter is moving on from Happy Days Nursery & Preschool shortly and it’s no exaggeration to say we’re gutted that she’s leaving! They have been a fantastic nursery that has been, in no small way, responsible for our little girl becoming a confident and sociable toddler. The staff genuinely care and come up with constant and creative ways to occupy and develop the little ones. We know that our daughter will really miss Happy Days, but they’ll always be a huge part of her early years! Thank you.

The staff are enthusiastic, communicative and friendly, and we always get a thorough update at the end of each day no matter how busy they are. We love seeing photos of what the kids have been up to as well.

March 14, 2022 at 12:00 amMy daughter had thrived at Happy Days Nursery & Preschool – Cheswick Village since she was one year old. Starting in the baby class and now in the older class. She is three and a half now and skips into nursery. The staff are amazing and have a strong bond with staff. Lots of different activities and outdoor sports. Fantastic meals too.

March 14, 2022 at 12:00 amWe moved our daughter to Happy Days Nursery & Preschool – Cheswick Village due to house move. We were worried it might take her a while to adjust. However, she settled so quickly and well, and loves going to nursery every day! The staff are so personal, friendly and creative. My daughter gets great care not just from her key workers but every staff at nursery. I especially love all the activities they do that support children’s development and lovely outdoor sensory garden which is baby-friendly too. Daily photo/video updates via secure group makes me smile every day, knowing my daughter is having a great time at nursery! The staff also organised an open day around Christmas to get family/siblings involved, which is very sweet and thoughtful. Excellent nursery!

March 22, 2022 at 12:00 amMy little girl absolutely loves coming to Happy Days. She is familiar with all the children and staff and often talks about them at home. She has met her best friends through nursery. She comes home happy when she’s not too tired from all the playing! I can’t really comment on the cleanliness and activities as I’ve only been in the nursery once due to Covid and every time I ask my little girl what she’s done today she says she ‘played’. Overall, lovely nursery, lovely staff and I would definitely recommend.

Everyone is kind and looks after her. Her development has really improved at nursery and she’s always telling me about her day. I would recommend Happy Days to any parent.

September 16, 2022 at 12:00 amBoth of my children have attended Happy Days Cheswick from the age of one and have thoroughly enjoyed every single day.
The staff are caring and have nurtured them, looking for ways to entertain their individual interests. The staff are always friendly and helpful and have been particularly flexible with arrangements as we have had to move out of the area. My children have formed strong bonds with the staff and other children, which has been enabled by the warm and caring environment within the nursery. Thank you to all the staff.

April 21, 2023 at 12:00 amI always notice how the nursery is warm, welcoming, bright and clean, with a display of excellent quality items for the children to play with. There is always a member of staff with a smile to greet you, whatever time of day! The nursery always seems to ooze a positive vibe even when they are short-staffed. This shows the team work well together, and this comes across very well. All I can say the manager is an excellent manager of the team and brings out the best in them and the children, even in these hard times. I love the way the children are respected and spoken to – my granddaughter has excelled in her vocabulary and social skills for her age – what patient role models in early learning to have! The children at this nursery are very lucky! Thank you!

June 5, 2023 at 12:00 amFrom the minute we walked into Happy Days the manager made us feel so welcome. It is a very unknown and daunting experience sending your child to nursery for the first time but we felt at ease straight away. Our son has almost been at Happy Days for a year now and his development has been extraordinary. The experiences and learning they do is great. The team all work so hard and it shows! Thank you for making our nursery experience so far so easy and seamless. It helps the Mum guilt to know your child is having a great time.

June 5, 2023 at 12:00 amMy daughter is coming to the end of her time at Happy Days Nursery & Preschool, moving on to primary school in September. She has been there around two years and thoroughly enjoyed it. She has, with the help of the team, developed her speaking, pronunciation and attitude to others really well. All of the staff are superb and it gives us real peace of mind knowing that she is in a fun, safe environment. There is a reason there is such a big waiting list! Highly recommended.

Great range of activities on offer and our daughter loved the outdoor garden space. We particularly loved the variety of food cooked for the children and the special excursions to the local area.

A wide range of activities on offer throughout every week as well as lots of free play time to expand their imaginations.
Staff seem attentive and caring, really helping to install good behaviour – brushing teeth, toileting, suncream application etc.
The menu is fantastic, well balanced and varied. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

The nursery has a fun feel and a warmth which as a parent fills me with confidence that my daughter is growing in a great environment.
