We opened our first nursery in 1991 and now operate 35 nurseries throughout the South West and Wales!
With over thirty years of expert experience and an ethos to support children to become strong and motivated learners for life, we pride ourselves on providing a service to enable parents to work and live their daily lives knowing their children are cherished and cared for to the highest standard.

September 4, 2024 at 9:53 pmThe team are enthusiastic, communicative and welcoming, and we consistently get a thorough update at the end of each day no matter how busy they are. We adore seeing photos of what the kids have been up to as well. We are delighted with Cheerful Days Childcare centre & Preschool – our kids have both loved it there and it is remarkable to see the wide range of activities that are on offer each day.

October 25, 2024 at 7:39 amMy daughter has attended Cheerful Days since she was 9 months old (she is now 3.5 years) which show how pleased we have been with the childcare centre.
The team (especially her key worker who we have been fortunate to keep throughout her time at the childcare centre) are welcoming, welcoming and highly accommodating to the needs of both the kids and parents.
The childcare centre setting is so lovely with lots of open space indoors and the garden is the perfect setting for the kids to freely and safely run around.
I especially adore how the childcare centre choose different topics/festivals to teach the kids, which encourages diversity and educates them in a creative manner.
I would highly suggest Cheerful Days Cheswick to anyone in search of a childcare centre for their little one(s). Cheerful Days Childcare centre & Preschool – Cheswick Village has played an integral part in my daughter’s development.

The team are consistently welcoming and supportive and have been particularly flexible with arrangements as we have had to move out of the area. My kids have formed strong bonds with the team and other kids, which has been enabled by the inviting and attentive setting within the childcare centre. Thank you to all the team. Both of my kids have attended Cheerful Days Cheswick from the age of one and have thoroughly enjoyed every single day.

The childcare centre consistently seems to ooze a positive vibe even when they are short-staffed. This shows the team work well together, and this comes across highly well. All I can say the manager is an outstanding manager of the team and brings out the best in them and the kids, even in these hard times. I adore the way the kids are respected and spoken to – my granddaughter has excelled in her vocabulary and social skills for her age – what patient role models in early discovering to have! The kids at this childcare centre are highly lucky! Thank you! I consistently notice how the childcare centre is inviting, welcoming, bright and spotless, with a display of outstanding quality items for the kids to playtime with.

We particularly loved the variety of food cooked for the kids and the special excursions to the local area. We are so pleased we chose Cheerful Days Cheswick for our daughter.

The menu is remarkable, well balanced and varied. I would definitely suggest this childcare centre. Lovely childcare centre with emphasis on outdoor playtime and preschool discovering.
A wide range of activities on offer throughout every week as well as lots of free playtime time to expand their imaginations.

All of the team are stellar and it gives us real peace of mind knowing that she is in a enjoyable, secure setting. There is a reason there is such a big waiting list! Highly recommended. My daughter is coming to the end of her time at Cheerful Days Childcare centre & Preschool, moving on to primary school in September.

Our son has almost been at Cheerful Days for a year now and his development has been extraordinary. The experiences and discovering they do is excellent. The team all work so hard and it shows! Thank you for making our childcare centre journey so far so easy and seamless. It helps the Mum guilt to know your kid is having a excellent time. From the minute we walked into Cheerful Days the manager made us sense so welcome.

The team are attentive and highly welcoming. They nurture her creativity and updates every single day. In fact, my daughter often comes home and teaches me the Makaton sign language she’s learnt that day.
Parents are given a daily face-to-face ‘debrief’ of the kid’s day, so I’m fully informed about what my daughter has been up to. I can also log in to a secure group, to see pictures of her during the day (I know other nurseries have more advanced ways of doing this such as apps, but I’m assured this is something the childcare centre is looking into). There are consistently truly lovely activities and weekly themes, and my daughter frequently brings home things she’s made.
Overall, I highly suggest Cheerful Days. My 19-month-old daughter absolutely loves going to childcare centre at Cheerful Days.

May 20, 2025 at 2:59 amShe is familiar with all the kids and team and often talks about them at home. She has met her best friends through childcare centre. She comes home cheerful when she’s not too tired from all the playing! I can’t truly comment on the cleanliness and activities as I’ve only been in the childcare centre once due to Covid and every time I ask my little girl what she’s done today she says she ‘played’. Overall, lovely childcare centre, lovely team and I would definitely suggest. My little girl absolutely loves coming to Cheerful Days.

The team genuinely care and come up with constant and creative ways to occupy and develop the little ones. We know that our daughter will truly miss Cheerful Days, but they’ll consistently be a huge part of her early years! Thank you. Our daughter is moving on from Cheerful Days Childcare centre & Preschool shortly and it’s no exaggeration to say we’re gutted that she’s leaving!

May 30, 2025 at 9:08 amWe were worried it might take her a while to adjust. However, she settled so quickly and well, and loves going to childcare centre every day! The team are so personal, welcoming and creative. My daughter gets excellent care not just from her key workers but every team at childcare centre. I especially adore all the activities they do that assistance kids’s development and lovely outdoor sensory garden which is baby-welcoming too. Daily photo/video updates via secure group makes me smile every day, knowing my daughter is having a excellent time at childcare centre! The team also organised an open day around Christmas to get family/siblings involved, which is highly sweet and thoughtful. Outstanding childcare centre! We moved our daughter to Cheerful Days Childcare centre & Preschool – Cheswick Village due to house move.
