Happy Days Nursery & Pre-School - Abbey Meads

My daughter started attending in September 2020. At first it was all very new to her and quite daunting. However the team at Happy Days Nursery & Pre-School – Abbey Meads always made her feel at ease and were so upbeat, warm and friendly which made such a difference. Now she looks forward to the days when she is scheduled to attend. She loves it. The staff are amazing, the handover at the end of the day is always so detailed and informative as you get a real insight about how the day has been. I know that its going to be hard to say goodbye in August but I can honestly say this year has been a very difficult one for all children but Happy Days Nursery & Pre-School – Abbey Meads have taken it in their stride and made all the children their priority to keep them safe and well. Would highly recommend to anyone.

My son joined this nursery at the start of March and he absolutely loves it. He is always so happy, content and loves his nursery teachers. They made him feel so welcome and he always asks for them at home.

My son has been attending Happy Days for 2 years now. He used to cry at drop off as he didn’t want to go (purely an attachment issue to me) but that soon stopped as he enjoys it so much and knows he will be doing fun things there. The staff all care so much and are approachable and knowledgeable about my son and his development.

My son has been attending Happy Days Nursery for two years now and will not miss a single day if he can help it. After visiting many nurseries, Happy Days was far cleaner, decluttered and spacious. I love the outdoor learning opportunities and free flow system, which is synonymous with how we provide care for our son at home. The staff are approachable and courteous, and I am provided with thorough feedback after every day. My only niggle is I wish my son would come home with more arts and crafts and see a range of mediums used. But this is purely nitpicking.
Lastly, as an epi-pen user, the care and preparation in making the nursery a safe place for my child have far outreached my expectations.

My son has been at Happy Days since May this year, it was the first time he had been to this kind of setting and it took him a couple of weeks to settle, but the staff were so understanding and patient. Now, he absolutely loves it – he talks about it all the time! If there are days when he’s feeling a little homesick the nursery have put together a family book for him with pictures of all the people in his life and he uses it to help him, he loves it all! He has grown so much and really come out of his shell, hes also non stop talking now! Thank you!

My son has been attending Happy Days Nursery in Swindon since January and we are extremely happy with the progress he has made once he adjusted to nursery life. The staff are always polite and enthusiastic at drop-off, allowing for my son to feel at ease when going in (he now willingly heads into the building). I’ve never had an issue with the nursery, the facilities are great and the staff are extremely accommodating with my son’s food allergies.
I’d highly recommend this nursery to anyone considering.

My son has attended nursery since March 2022. The staff were so understanding about leaving him for the first time in a nursery environment. He settled really well and built good relationships with his key person and the staff in the Explorer room. He has come on leaps and bounds with his development. He communicates so well using some simple sign language, as well as speaking.
My son is very active and absolutely loves being outside in the amazing garden space that Happy Days have to offer.
Staff give good informative feedback, also adding in the highlights of the day.

The whole team are amazing. My little girl has thrived at nursery – they are honest, compassionate and trustworthy, and I feel she is very well looked after. They offer a huge range of activities daily for their development. Two ladies, especially in explorers, are fab. Would highly recommend.

Great and friendly staff my daughter always has the best time. Great feedback on how the day has been. Helped my daughter settle in well at the beginning with multiple settles before she started I would 100% recommend this nursery!

My Daughter has been attending Happy Days Nursery since 2022. Since then she has developed a medical condition, which the Staff have been absolutely great with. Reassuring her and understanding her needs. Also the Nursery Staff are very good in seeing a child’s needs and don’t treat the children all the same but as individuals. Very glad we chose this Nursery. The Chef at the Nursery is also really good, cooking lovely food and lots of variety. Well done.
