Hale Day Nursery & Nursery School

Every morning we are greeted by smiley welcoming faces and my daughter has a cuddle with her key worker upon arrival as she is consistently reluctant to walk into her room. Team take the time to ask if there’s anything they need to know about my daughter during drop off which I find very attentive. Occasionally I’ll ring the childcare centre during the day and I am consistently reassured that she is cheerful and participating in the day to day discovering and activities provided. At the end of the day when I go to collect my daughter, I consistently walk in to find her extremely cheerful and engaged in activities or conversations with her peers and team members.
The childcare centre have been excellent in catering to my daughter’s dietary needs. She has consistently loved yoga and participates in this every Thursday. I receive detailed observations twice a month and feedback at the end of the day is very informative. It’s just a really lovely childcare centre. My daughter has very recently started attending childcare centre here and is in the Owl room.

The team are excellent and the team retention is incredible which reflects how great the childcare centre is both from the kids and employee perspective.
Both my kids went from an early age and had journey of every room and they thoroughly loved it.
The outdoor space is what sold the childcare centre for me as there is ample space and they even cater for babies in a specific corner.
The views are lovely and they’re not overlooked which is so nice for the kids!
Was gutted when they finished here because it is a lovely vibe and an incredible setting for kids growing up. I suggest Hale Day Childcare centre to all new parents or parents just asking me about nurseries in the local area.

His dedicated key worker greets us every morning with a smile and has formed a exceptional genuine bond with him. He has different activities and classes planned and they’re consistently special events. There is a large playtime area outside also which includes their own animals which live at the childcare centre. I’m jealous of the menu he gets served from the on-site kitchen, it consistently smells lovely when I walk past. We’re provided a summary sheet every time we pick him up and we also get in-depth reports through the online parent system which includes a written piece by his key worker with photos of what our son has been up to. There are also development checks against how he is progressing.
I would, without a doubt, suggest this childcare centre and we’re very cheerful with our choice, as is our son! My son has been attending Elmscot Hale Day Childcare centre since he was 9 months old, he loves going and we’re delighted with his development since attending and we trust the team 100% with his care.

My eldest daughter started there in 2014 and stayed throughout until she started school in 2017. My other daughter joined in 2017 and is currently enjoying her preschool year – that totals nearly 7 years of being at Hale, which speaks for itself. The team are cheerful and welcoming and expertly well‑informed in all that they do, the facilities are outstanding – a large, secure outdoors area and spacious, bright rooms inside, the menus are healthy and varied, information is passed between team and families really well. We will be sad to say goodbye come September when my youngest heads off to Primary school. Thank you Hale – part of our family! I am so totally cheerful with every aspect of Hale Day Childcare centre.

He settled quite quickly and he loves going every day. I get a weekly update with pictures of what he has been doing and the team have all been really forthcoming with little personal stories at handover so I can tell they know him really well.
The garden space is also incredible, it feels so open and I see lots of pictures of him outside, enjoying the fresh air. I couldn’t wish for a better childcare centre. My little boy started in the Rabbit Room at Hale in August 2021, the team team were so welcoming and supportive.

Passionate and welcoming team with your kid’s best interests at heart, consistently willing to help in any situation. 10/10. Incredible surroundings looking out on to fields with plenty of outdoor space and opportunities to get involved with forest school.

When picking a childcare centre we wanted a enjoyable, attentive, exciting, cheerful setting for our little boy and particularly wanted somewhere he could delight in being outside, getting dirty and doing all the enjoyable things toddlers should be doing. We fell in adore with Elmscot’s garden and views during our induction and that was enough to pick this childcare centre over the others in the area. Elmscot was the perfect match. The team have taken such care in his development and any concerns I had such as his speech I was immediately given feedback for and ways they could help. I can not thank the girls enough in rabbits and then hedgehogs for my little boy’s time there, I sense so comfortable leaving him there knowing he’s in excellent hands! A special mention to 2 members of team in particular who have been his main care providers, the adore they have given him has been like he was their own and it was so lovely to see him form this bond. Thank you Elmscot. My little boy has been attending the Childcare centre for over 6 months now since turning 1.

My baby settled very easily. The setting is enjoyable and engaging while providing a home away from home sense. The childcare centre provides fresh and healthy meals each day and the team goes above and beyond to ensure the best level of care and education for kids of all ages. Highly suggest wouldn’t take my little one anywhere else. Team are consistently welcoming and on hand to offer assistance.

The girls in the Rabbit room that have worked with my daughter have been remarkable, nurturing and attentive. They have been incredibly reassuring when we have had a question or a worry and myself and my husband have been very appreciative of their assistance. My daughter has developed her skills physically, mentally and socially and it has been lovely to receive weekly updates of the activities she has been doing, the food she has been eating and the things she has learnt. I couldn’t suggest this childcare centre enough. Hale Day Childcare centre & Childcare centre School is a remarkable childcare centre and my daughter has thoroughly enjoyed her time there so far.

Of all the things I like about it (the food, the outdoor space, the creative activities), it is the warmth of the team that makes it truly exceptional. My kid and her key worker have a lovely bond and I leave her there knowing that she is being cared for attentively and with adore. My youngest kid is the third I have sent to Hale Day Childcare centre & Childcare centre School and I couldn’t suggest the childcare centre highly enough.
