Growing Up Green Nursery

Having 4 age group classes means the kids are with others their age. The team go out of their way to make really exciting and engaging activities for the kids, no matter how messy! The team are the kindest and most hard-working individuals, they have a clear passion for their work and the kids all adore them. The space is excellent, with healthy meals and a lovely garden. They’ve coped with Covid really well too. I couldn’t suggest them more! I’ve had two kids at Growing Up Green and both have loved it!

The team are a delight! we’ve built up a excellent rapport with many team: they are chatty and informative and have provided a fantastic journey for our kids. We would wholly suggest it there! We have been extremely cheerful with Growing up Green (Preston Road) over the past few years – they provide a attentive, supportive, welcoming, relaxed, outdoorsy setting, where both of our kids sense secure and cheerful all year round.

His process with speech, playtime and interaction has improved immensely in just a couple of months. He is cheerful to go into childcare centre and also cheerful after I pick him up. He shows no signs of anxiety and tells me all the things he’s done that day which he loves.
The team are exceptional and truly care for each kid’s needs. My son can’t get enough of the huge garden and eats salmon and mackerel which he wouldn’t eat previously. I can’t fault this childcare centre, we are extremely cheerful parents with a very cheerful little boy who’s coming on leaps and bounds! Since our son started at Growing Up Green this year, he is more relaxed and content within himself.

The room is fab and the aunties are incredible. He is consistently having enjoyable and loves the food. My son is in the baby room and absolutely loves it.

My daughter has attended since just before her first birthday last November. She settled in immediately and absolutely loves it there. I believe that attending has really helped with her walking and talking skills as well as giving her a social outlet at a time when that has been very difficult. She eats double helpings of the food every day so it must be great! I would not hesitate to suggest this childcare centre (and in fact, I regularly do). I am so grateful to everyone there for continuing to work during this pandemic and for providing such a exceptional setting for playtime and discovering. They are a really lovely team. Growing up Green on Preston Road is a really outstanding childcare centre.

Our daughter is a “lockdown” baby and we were so nervous about someone else looking after her and also meeting other kids, especially after it just being the three of us for all her life. The team know what they are doing, even from the first contact to enquire they were the only childcare centre who made me sense completely at ease from the start. Our daughter had no tears or anything on her first day, and if anything, now hates when we collect her, I think that says it all about the care the kids receive. I am impressed with the flexibility of them to assist you with any questions or requests quickly, their administration is efficient and accurate also which is also an important factor. You can see how well the kids are looked after and the team are consistently cheerful which also says a lot about a childcare centre. I’m so glad I was recommended them! I could not sing this childcare centre’s praises enough!

From day one team have been so accommodating, supportive and just generally lovely.

It was and is really important to us to have a “home from home” setting for his childcare and we are so pleased to of found it here. The fact we walk past four other nurseries to get there also says a lot! The exceptional big outdoor space made us decide to choose this childcare centre initially, along with the smaller sized baby room in comparison to other nurseries for when he first joined, so it felt the best of both worlds. The aunties are fantastic, attentive and he consistently has a lovely day full a variety. We are so pleased with the care, activities and setting at Growing Up Green Childcare centre, as is our son who is consistently cheerful and excited for his childcare centre days!

The team are attentive and expert. The menu is imaginative and varied and most importantly my kids eat the healthy meals and snacks. The outside space is remarkable, with playtime areas, a secret garden, bug palace and a small vegetable patch. My kids engage in so many enjoyable and educational activities that I would never have the imagination or resources to provide at home. There is a homely, family sense to the place. My kids delight in it and I highly suggest it. We’ve been more than cheerful with the care both of our kids have received at Growing Up Green.

We moved to the area and tentatively booked him and his sister into GUG. The transformation has been incredible. He’s smiley, chatty and asks to go every day. They have a fantastic array of activities and we get sent photos all the time and daily feedback cards. The ‘aunties’ (I mean how cute is that) are really compassionate and patient. There’s just so much thought put into everything, even the food is great and interesting for them. It’s been a joy for both kids to come home full of smiles and chatting about their new friends.
GUG is a fantastic place. I have two kids at GUG, my boy had been at a previous setting where he cried daily and was described as ‘mute’.
