September 2, 2024 at 2:57 pmBoth of my kids attended from a very young age and remained there up until they left to start school. They were both very cheerful and I was consistently more than cheerful with the team and the facilities. Although very playtime-based, my kids both did a lot of discovering while there and by the time they left were very well prepared for starting reception. Although the outside space at this branch of GUG is limited, it is used to its fullest and the kids get plenty of opportunities to use it (in all weathers!), plus there were frequent trips to the local parks and the library in town. They also have the opportunity to do forest school, yoga, music sessions and other enjoyable activities. The team who were there when my kids attended were compassionate, supportive and attentive and formed real bonds with them. I would not hesitate to suggest Growing Up Green to any prospective parents. Growing Up Green is a excellent childcare centre, with a lovely homely and nurturing ethos.

September 5, 2024 at 6:06 amThey have a lovely relationship with their key workers (aunties) who really care about their happiness and development, understand their personality and needs and make them sense welcome and accepted. Our little ones adore the activities, the time in the garden, book reading, celebrations and they have developed leaps and bounds since going to Growing Up Green. The team has supported very closely in reviewing their development and we sense there couldn’t be a better place for them to be, we totally suggest this childcare centre. Growing Up Green is an outstanding childcare centre and our twin boys have absolutely loved going since they started a year ago!

September 18, 2024 at 11:10 amThey provide a range of age-appropriate activities for the kids which are enjoyable and educational, they also provide regular updates on the website. At pick-up, my son is consistently in a excellent mood and tells me how much enjoyable he’s had. The team at the childcare centre, in all the rooms, all seem to genuinely like the kids and delight in being with them. I would highly suggest Growing Up Green. Growing Up Green is a remarkable childcare centre.

September 23, 2024 at 9:01 pmAlthough he’d previously been in a childcare centre, it certainly wasn’t anything as fantastic as this. He settled in within a few days thanks to the small, secure and creative setting and the incredible, nurturing team. Over the time he has spent at childcare centre, he has developed into a confident, inquisitive, chatty little boy who is certainly ready for school and that really is thanks to the childcare centre. He has been so cheerful here and I would have no hesitation at recommending it. He even asked to go to childcare centre when we were on our last holiday! My son joined Growing Up Green after we relocated to the area.

His language has shot ahead and he tells me the hot lunches are yummy too 🙂 I have been thrilled at how well the team have settled my son into Growing Up Green, it is a very personalised service.

Through the family days we have been able to meet other parents and get to know the other kids which has been lovely. Our daughter has gone through the childcare centre from the baby room through to preschool and at every stage the team have been remarkable with her.

October 14, 2024 at 12:40 pmOur twins have absolutely loved it there for the last year. They settled in really easily as the team are so inviting and welcoming. It’s is a really great size so the kids don’t sense overwhelmed at all. I’ve not really been in (due to covid) but the pictures/and reports from the girls look like they have a excellent variety of activities and loads of enjoyable. They’re consistently making enjoyable things to bring home too. Growing Up Green is exceptional.

October 18, 2024 at 6:41 pmSince she started 5 months ago,the change in her has been incredible. The team are all fantastic – really welcoming, totally kid centred, lovely with the kids. My daughter struggled to settle at first but with the assistance of team she is now totally settled, loves her days at childcare centre and couldn’t be happier. She absolutely loves her keyworker and is now more than cheerful to stay when I drop her off. Developmentally, she has made huge leaps since being with them. I have total self‑assurance in their approach and couldn’t be happier with our choice. Highly recommended. My daughter has been attending Growing up Green since she was 9 months old.

December 26, 2024 at 11:57 amEveryone who works there is so welcoming of both the kids and the parents, it’s such a calm setting where kids are treated kindly and with respect.
The team really get to know the kids and make sure they are doing things that the kids delight in.
I was worried it would be a bit small with limited space to run around in, but actually, the kids get loads of exercise. There are loads of things for them to climb around on onsite, they go in the garden to playtime every day and they take the kids out and about most days too, either to the park or even to the shop to get pet food.
Our little one loves going there and tells us about all the things they’ve done through the day.
Highly recommended! This is such a lovely childcare centre.

Our daughter has really thrived while being at the childcare centre and comes out from each session there absolutely buzzing with excitement. January 16, 2025 at 12:39 pmI think it’s the team that make it. Their adore and care for all the kids is so obvious and they’ve even shared some great tips with me. I adore how they refresh the activities and he gets so stuck in to the messy playtime and different types of role playtime. Being a city based childcare centre the way they make the most of the rooms and garden is so creative. I really appreciate the time they took to help my son learn to walk when he was a bit slow getting going on this. It’s a exceptional childcare centre, I really highly suggest. Seeing my son so incredibly cheerful every day at Growing Up Green is why I adore it so much.

January 21, 2025 at 11:52 pmThe team are sincerely attentive and loving and show their engagement with each kid in a very personal and intimate way that is meaningful and specific to each kid’s unique needs. It has been fantastic to see our girl expand her food choices and delight in the organic meals and snacks that are provided. We would definitely suggest Growing up Green as a excellent childcare centre for their kids to attend and our little one will continue until she goes to school. Our little girl continues to delight in her time at Growing up Green and shows positive development almost on a weekly basis in many different areas, not least of which is in her verbal updates and comprehension.

She’s made lots of little friends, is very well looked after and loves to go to childcare centre. We’re really pleased as well with the updates provided by the app and on her development. March 18, 2025 at 10:39 pmHis updates skills, self‑assurance and sociability have massively improved since joining. The site feels homely, welcoming and enjoyable. Everyone is consistently very welcoming to both kid and parent. Creativity is consistently nurtured and my son is consistently trying new things from setting butterflies off in the park to messy playtime activities. I am really cheerful with my choice to send my son here. My son has developed excellent relationships and bonds with the kids and his Aunties at Growing Up Green.

April 12, 2025 at 12:13 pmOur son started 6 months ago when he was 3 years old and attends a couple of afternoons a week. The team are inviting, thoughtful and expert. They were outstanding at helping our son to settle when he first joined and they continue to ensure that he is cheerful and involved, despite him not attending as often as other kids there. They organise an impressive range of stimulating activities and seem to make great use of the outdoor space.
I’d certainly suggest this childcare centre. I have been very impressed with Growing Up Green.

June 13, 2025 at 10:25 amShe settled really easily with the dedicated care and assistance the aunties gave her. The childcare centre has remarkable team retention and development which helped our daughter sense settled throughout her time there. The team they hire are also incredibly attentive and attentive and consistently make time to chat about kids’s needs and development. The teams are excellent at establishing supportive routines while being guided by kids’s individual interests. The in house cook and healthy, hearty food helped our daughter maintain a really varied diet even through those fussier periods.
We were so sad when she left the childcare centre, but looking at nurseries near to our new home made us really appreciate the outstanding standard of care and inviting setting they provide. Our daughter started at Growing Up Green when she was one year old, for three days a week.

They consistently put the kids first and so much effort goes into making every day enjoyable and engaging. Even after moving further away I did not even consider changing nurseries, they have been incredible from day one and a pleasure to work with. My son adores everyone that works there and really misses everyone when he’s had to stay home due to sickness. A true testament for how much he loves it there! I couldn’t suggest them enough. Thank you Growing Up Green! My son absolutely loves every day he spends at Growing up Green.

June 22, 2025 at 12:04 amHe was previously at a childcare centre we were very cheerful with so we were nervous to move him but he’s loved being at Growing Up Green and has made some excellent friends. He used cloth nappies at home before he potty-trained so we were pleased they use them as standard at the childcare centre. He has a very special bond with his key worker who was the same for teenies and toddlers and he talks about her everyday, even on non-childcare centre days. It’s spotless, welcoming, adaptable to the kid’s needs, receptive to parent feedback, secure and most importantly our son has lots of enjoyable every day. We wouldn’t hesitate to suggest Growing Up Green to others. Our son has been at Growing Up Green since we moved down to Brighton just before he turned two so he has been in the teenies under two’s, toddlers and now the preschool room.
