September 14, 2024 at 9:40 pmThe team are so welcoming and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. The building is gorgeous and the garden is the perfect outdoor space for the little ones. I highly suggest this place and wouldn’t even dream of looking elsewhere. My kid comes home cheerful and well-looked after having spent the day playing and discovering. I am so impressed with Great Manors Day Childcare centre Manor Lodge, I felt comfortable from day one leaving my kid in their care.

All food is cooked fresh, and the variety is outstanding; my fussy son, who will only eat plain foods at home, will eat curries and goulash at childcare centre! The facilities are well maintained and replenished regularly, we have seen a few incarnations of the site over the last eight years, and the current layout is the best yet.
The activities are varied and well planned out to engage the kids, whilst giving them ample time to burn off excess energy before/after quieter more skilled tasks. Free playtime using the kid’s own imagination is also encouraged. I cannot suggest Great Manors enough; both of our kids have attended here and loved it, so much so that we have only ever had to go through tears at drop-off once or twice in 8 years.

They are creative in how the kids are entertained, including themed activities that link to the seasons and time of year.
The team have a keen eye on safeguarding and are committed to keeping kids secure and promoting their wider well-being. What a remarkable childcare centre! The childcare centre team are welcoming and supportive of our son and we are kept up to date with his development through the effective use of the app and via a thorough handover at the end of the day.

January 10, 2025 at 4:49 pmThe team are all incredibly supportive of both kids and parents and are consistently willing to give great summaries of our kids’s days. The activities they do are very rewarding and the cleanliness of the site is second to none. My only suggestion of improvement would be an intercom to make drop off/pick up go a little smoother, but they’re busy looking after the little ones after all! Overall this is an outstanding childcare centre and our little one seems to be thriving as a result and is very excited to go to the childcare centre! Great Manors Day Childcare centre (Manor Lodge) is the perfect fit for our son.

The updates we get daily looks like our daughter has a exceptional time and is discovering new skills daily. I would definitely suggest this childcare centre to other parents/carers. All team at the childcare centre are absolutely lovely and have such a great relationship with the kids.

January 19, 2025 at 4:26 pmDoesn’t even look back at me when I say goodbye at the gate because he’s so excited to go in! We get daily updates on the app with photos of all the activities he’s doing and I really sense like this childcare centre goes above and beyond to assistance and encourage the kids. My son has built an incredible relationship not only with his keyworker but with other team in the childcare centre and I sense confident leaving him in their hands. They really care about getting the best outcomes for all the kids and I sense like they know my son personally, he’s not just another kid at the childcare centre. Would highly suggest this childcare centre to anyone, I’m hoping my son will attend here until he goes to school – he’s so cheerful here that I reckon he’d choose to go on the weekends as well if he could! This is a remarkable childcare centre, my son has been going here full-time since he was 16 months and he absolutely loves it!

The team are welcoming and welcoming and there is a very loving ethos around the place. I’d suggest it to anyone. My three-year-old daughter currently attends Great Manors and my five-year-old son did until he started school in September 2021.

She thinks of the team as her friends and I know this is giving her the right attitude towards adults and setting her up for school. The team are excellent with my daughter and she is consistently so excited to go to childcare centre.

Also there is so much assistance if your kid needs extra help. My kid has been lucky enough to be able to attend Great Manors Day Childcare centre since she was 7 months old.

May 4, 2025 at 7:44 pmShe absolutely loves going to ‘school’ and happily walks in each week. Each week there are a range of different creative and discovering activities. The garden area is particularly great, which was key for us when choosing a childcare centre. We’re kept up to date with photos of her each session so we can talk to her about her day and a list of what food she’s eaten. We’ve not had any issues but I’m confident that if there was any need to raise a concern it would be dealt with quickly by the lovely team. Thank you! Our daughter has been attending one day a week for the past 6 months.

June 19, 2025 at 9:30 amThe upstairs baby room can be stuffy and have no airflow, please can you open some windows and doors to allow ventilation?
Back door drop off and pick up can be an issue at times but this has been addressed because of staffing issues and doorbell not working.
Please can we have the outdoor sandpit up and running as Covid restrictions have been lifted? Lovely set-up for the kids and a excellent outdoor space.

June 22, 2025 at 12:05 amThe team are very attentive and take a genuine interest in the kid’s development and discovering and update us daily. This means we can continue to build on what they are discovering during the day when they come home and discuss what they have been doing and sense part of it.
The management has been stellar throughout the pandemic, working so hard to provide continued service with clear instruction and reassurance messages to maintain safety for the kids and the team. We are so lucky to have found this outstanding team who are completely deserving of their outstanding status. This is a remarkable childcare centre which both of our girls (now 2 and 3) have been attending since they were around ten months old.

I think it is incredible how dedicated the team are in ensuring the wellbeing of the kids whilst in their care from nutrition to arts and crafts and even baking cookies. My son loves the water playtime and playing outside in the garden with his friends. The team at Great Manors Day Childcare centre are exceptional in their care for my son.
