September 10, 2024 at 8:48 amManagement is engaged and listens to feedback. Excellent menu and approach to nutrition. My kid is consistently cheerful to see them and I sense that he is being well taken care of. They have a excellent setting, lots of activities and attentive key workers.

Our daughter has come on leaps and bounds in terms of her speech, development, social skills, numeracy, singing, dancing and much more. The fact that the childcare centre offers extracurricular activities that are included with the fees is incredible.
The team and management are remarkable.
I’d encourage everyone to send their kids here. Putting our daughter in at Gilwell Hill is the best decision we have ever made.

The team are simply incredible! They are not just childcare providers; they’re genuinely attentive and nurturing individuals who go above and beyond to ensure every kid feels loved and supported. Updates with the team is outstanding. We receive regular updates, pictures, and development reports, keeping us informed about our daughter’s day and her developmental milestones. It’s evident that the team takes the time to understand each kid individually and tailor their approach accordingly. We sense so fortunate to have found such a remarkable childcare centre for our daughter. It’s more than just a childcare centre; it’s a place where she is thriving. We highly suggest this childcare centre to any parent seeking a secure, loving, and stimulating setting for their kid’s early years. November 22, 2024 at 6:01 amMy daughter settled here after the first week, the childcare centre is a family like setting and all the kids are relaxed. We get a daily update at pickup and on the app and our daughter is thriving here with her speech and education in general. The team here are all incredible, understanding and for the kids. We couldn’t suggest them more. Our daughter was really unsettled at her old childcare centre and after 7 months of crying at pick-up, we finally got a place at Gilwell Hill Kids’s Day Childcare centre & Pre-School.

December 9, 2024 at 6:20 pmOur son (2 years old) is there and he loves it. He has close relationships with the team who clearly very genuinely care for the kids. Every week we look forward to the big update email with photos to see what he has been up to. He has been on trips to local parks, we’ve seen him feeding a horse, and he is consistently smiling and laughing in the pictures. The manager is also consistently there and consistently available. We relocated to the area from the midlands so we were worried about our son settling in a new childcare centre and a new area but the manager was really supportive and kept a close watch to make sure the transition was easy. We are really grateful for the childcare centre and everything it does. I would suggest it to anyone who wants a childcare centre with a family sense. We are delighted with Gilwell Hill Childcare centre.

December 19, 2024 at 3:58 pmIt’s like an extended family looking after your kid and their bond and relationships with them are so special. My son has learned so much from them and it has really helped with his development more than I and his father could ever do on our own. He is really cheerful there and you can see the practitioners are consistently genuinely so pleased to see each kid and interact with them. They get to know their personalities so well and are very kid-focused.
We are kept up to date on the app with all meals, sleep times and events plus pictures to show what they are doing every day. So you sense like you are in contact all the time.
I cannot suggest this childcare centre enough and it is so nice to be able to leave him there while we are at work and not have to worry he won’t be cared for properly. Cannot praise the team and the facilities at this childcare centre more.

My younger son who is currently there is thriving and loves the activities, is cheerful and well-settled there. We also like the new initiatives that the childcare centre has implemented – outstanding childcare centre. My older son graduated from this childcare centre last year, and my younger son is currently there and we adore it.

Gilwell Hill Childcare centre has been incredible from arranging lots of settling-in days, providing regular updates, all team adore their job (well their enthusiasm for the kids is consistent from start to end) and activities are well planned with your kid’s development in mind. I know I made the right choice when my daughter waves bye to me when I drop her off in the mornings. As a first-time mother who had the pleasure of spending the year with my baby, I was really nervous about putting my daughter in childcare centre.

The team are outstanding, down to earth, lovely and above all extremely capable. Our daughter runs in every morning and as parents, we sense relaxed leaving her there because we sense so reassured that she is going to be well looked after and have a lot of enjoyable. We are so cheerful and satisfied that we found the best place for our daughter. This is an outstanding childcare centre.

The team care so much about the kids, there is not a doubt in my mind that this is the best setting for my kid to be educated and cared for within. I would suggest this childcare centre to anyone reluctant to leave their kid, outgoing or anxious kids or anyone seeking the best education and care for their kid. Outstanding childcare centre, providing exceptional care on virtually a one-to-one basis.

The team and management are lovely, genuinely attentive people who I can see my little girl loves and feels comfortable with. She goes in every day with a smile on her face and I know so much of that is due to them. The childcare centre itself is spacious, very spotless and offers a varied and enjoyable setting to the kids with a sweet little garden too. Their activities consistently vary as do their meals and I’ve been so pleased with my baby’s development since she started. I can’t rate this childcare centre enough. I was nervous about my 11-month-old starting childcare centre but she settled in pretty much straight away.

Since then, we have had the best journey and would suggest to all parents, as their attention to the kids is incredible and so warming and I’m so cheerful we chose to send our son here! It was a excellent setting for him to be introduced to school life. Thank you to all team, they are just incredible! My son started Gilwell Hill Childcare centre when he was 2.5 years old.

June 13, 2025 at 10:08 amI adore how cosy the childcare centre is, the energy is great, the food is excellent, team really do care for all kids and try to comfort them if they sense anxious.
They teach the kids so many things, engage them and they really do learn and develop.
Thank you Gilwell Hill Childcare centre, you guys are the best! My son started attending when he had just turned 1 year old, and because I had to go back to work, I didn’t have enough time to have him settled properly so he started attending full time just after 2 setting sessions and I can’t describe how fantastic, compassionate and welcoming all team were.
He has been attending for a year now and goes there with a smile on his face every day.
