Giggles Day Nursery - Gipton

I knew as soon as I walked in I wanted him to go to Giggles. My son has a severe speech delay and receives additional funding. The team at the childcare centre go above and beyond to assistance him. The manager is consistently open to talk and assistance. Giggles consistently accommodate when I need extra sessions. My son is consistently cheerful to go to childcare centre and all team know exactly how to assistance him. As a childcare centre nurse myself I found it highly difficult to find a childcare centre I loved for my son.

The team are remarkable, highly welcoming and obviously delight in working with young kids. Her welcome to childcare centre truly settled my nerves and although she had a couple of days when she was getting upset, the team are so experienced about settling kids this didn’t last long. The updates between childcare centre and parents is excellent and I adore seeing the updates on the parent app. My daughter truly enjoys going to Giggles Day Childcare centre and enjoys all the activities, it’s truly helped with her development. Thank you to all the team for supporting my daughter. My daughter started when she was 8.5 months old.

A year later our little boy started in the baby room too.
From the first day, it has been a fantastic journey.
There was a period of high team turnover which at the time concerned us but this has settled.
Nevertheless, the consistency in the childcare was unaffected and every single day has been filled with adore, happiness, incredible activities and genuine interest, knowledge and understanding of every kid they care for. They work together with parents to achieve the kid’s full potential and for this, I am so grateful. Both my kids are cheerful, confident and attentive. I know this is because of the time and effort that has been put in by all the incredible team.
Even when transitioning to school the time, effort and collaboration with the school are above and beyond.
Thank you Giggles you truly are special. We have been with Giggles since it highly first opened its doors in 2017 my then 5-month-old daughter had her highly first day in the baby room.

The care and facilities are both outstanding, and the care team are exceptionally competent and supportive, I cannot fault the care one bit. However, I have been disappointed on numerous occasions to hear team members talk in a highly negative way about how they were treated by upper management (not the current setup). There also seems to be a highly high team turnover, I see members of team I have never seen before too frequently for my liking, so consistency may be an issue. The current management setup is highly approachable and welcoming towards parents, and they deal with any issues promptly and effectively. Overall I am highly cheerful with the service I have had as a parent and my kids have been truly cheerful there for a long time. My kids have been in this childcare centre since it first opened in 2017, I have seen it grow and change and adapt with the times, as well as undergoing a management change.

I adore how they include extra physical activities such as Rugby Tots, which my son loves! Management and team at Giggles are truly welcoming and willing to help where they can.
My son loves attending and even asks to go on his days off!
They provide useful resources, which keeps me updated on my kid’s development, day to day activities as well as what they’re eating.

It took a few weeks for him to settle and then he loved childcare centre more than ever! He even asks to go to the childcare centre on a weekend! His development has come on incredible! He can talk so much since starting childcare centre when he could only say a few words. The management and team consistently keep parents in the loop by sending photographs and messages on their development. The childcare centre team are lovely and I’m glad I chose Giggles for my son. Overall, I am going to miss my kid attending giggles childcare centre but look forward to his future at big boy school I was worried about my son starting childcare centre as he never truly liked to be away from me so I was scared he wouldn’t settle.

From my first initial show around, I was put at ease. The manager was so welcoming and the whole setting had a inviting and welcoming atmosphere. The team all welcomed me, straight away interacted with my little girl, and made us both sense comfortable. Giggles use an app which is INCREDIBLE! I get regular video and photo updates. I can see how much my daughter has eaten, slept, and drank as well as nappy changes. The childcare centre has incredible resources, outdoor areas and is highly spotless. The high-quality level of care and detail you receive on your kid’s day is just phenomenal. The team have built an outstanding relationship with me and my little girl, they take such great care of her. I couldn’t be happier or suggest Giggles enough. Thank you so much for everything you have done for my daughter, she has progressed so much! Honestly, I couldn’t suggest Giggles Day Childcare centre enough.

They are highly supportive too, would suggest to anyone. Team are compassionate and kids are highly secure whilst in the childcare centre, my little boy loves it there consistently goes in without a fight and has a great bond with most of the team there.

I will definitely suggest Giggles Childcare centre for any parent who needs peace of mind and to know that your kid is under great care. Their activities, discovering material and technology are remarkable. Thank you Giggles. Indeed outstanding care, adore, and simply great service.

Consistently asking if she is going to the childcare centre. The team are exceptional and so is the care. My daughter has come on so much with her letters, numbers, shapes, motor skills and overall self‑assurance. She is definitely ahead for starting school. I cannot suggest this childcare centre enough. It is number one in my opinion. My daughter has been at Giggles for over a year now and she absolutely loves it!
