Footsteps Lichfield Nursery & Pre-School

I couldn’t suggest this childcare centre enough! They go above and beyond ensuring they have lots of enjoyable and learn along the way. My daughter gets so excited to come and has formed a lovely bond with her keyworker. I adore that it’s a small childcare centre and definitely sense that because of this it allows more of a personal touch within the setting. Highly suggest 5* My daughter has attended footsteps for just over a year and my son had attended previously.

All the team are welcoming and welcoming and the kids are consistently so engaged. Well done Footsteps remarkable work. We have had a exceptional journey with Footsteps right from the baby room up to the currently rising threes.

They consistently have interesting, stimulating activities, such as themed weeks and outside organisations coming in, e.g. Spanish lessons, music, and sports lessons. I especially think the rising threes and preschool rooms have been particularly beneficial for my daughter. A excellent childcare centre!

Even when my kid has a bad morning, and isn’t keen on leaving us, the team are consistently on hand to help – taking him from us calmly and helping him to settle. Highly reassuring and consistently cheerful for us to call and check. Lovely inviting and welcoming atmosphere in all rooms. Management is approachable when I have queries or questions. Outdoor space is the best thing about this childcare centre (aside from the team) – remarkable that the kids have so much space and different areas to explore. Team are consistently highly welcoming from the moment we enter in the morning.

He truly enjoys his time at the childcare centre and the lovely team who work there. We have seen him grow in self‑assurance and big improvements in his speech and social skills since he has been going. It’s a lovely space, and we particularly value the outside space and forest school they have. My son started at Footsteps when he was one year old, so has been in the baby room, toddlers and now the rising 3s group.

Our oldest has been here since baby room and during the last 3+ years, I can only say the childcare centre has been exemplary and outstanding. The activities are varied and culturally enriching, the food is nutritious, the site is surrounded by nature, and all the team we have dealt with are considerate, polite, attentive and mostly highly immersed in each kid’s development. Our oldest son is a little shy and the team make extra effort to involve him, whilst our youngest is a bit more outgoing and he has developed incredibly thanks to the care of the team members. The price is reasonable considering the local market also and we think it’s value for money. COVID and other illnesses are handled and communicated well as are any required medicines. Our youngest needed an inhaler for a while and the team eased our minds with their professionalism. All in all, nothing but excellent things to say and we are highly thankful to them. We have two sons at Footsteps Hawthorn, one in the baby room and one in preschool.

But she is thriving now thanks to every single member of team we met. They have all helped and had an influence in her last year of childcare centre. Could not fault it. My kid truly struggled socialising before starting at Footsteps.

The assistance they give is exceptional. She loves all of the activities, especially drawing, painting and yoga. We have never once worried about our kid at childcare centre, she loves it and the team are incredible.

My son truly enjoys going to childcare centre and consistently talks about the enjoyable things he has done that day. As a parent, I sense I am well informed of everything that is happening and know my son is secure. The team are truly welcoming and approachable.

Hawthorn childcare centre has outstanding facilities and outstanding team, each member of the team is inviting and welcoming and goes above and beyond for each kid, from making sure they settle into their new setting, to playing and helping them grow.
