We have seen her grow and develop new skills whilst being at the childcare centre which is all credit to the team and the lovely setting including the Forest School.
Our kid loves being there and developing friendships and enjoying the activities provided. Our kid has been at the childcare centre from the age of 1, and in each room she has been in the team have been so supportive, compassionate and welcoming to help the development of my kid and to us as parents.

So much thought and preparation is put into every day to fill it with enjoyable. All the key workers work exceptionally hard and seem to have an infinite amount of patience. Also, parent feedback is dealt with in a highly expert and constructive manner. My little boy absolutely loves the setting at Footsteps Fradley not just because of all the outdoor space available but also because of the variety of discovering activities provided, without realising he’s discovering.

Team know kids by name, are trained well and provide not just care but educational assistance for your kids. They learn independent skills like hand washing too. Kids are fed a excellent balanced diet and have access to soccer tots, forest school and more. They work well to get kids into the community through projects and visits.

My other son, who left in September 22, has SEN, and the childcare centre went above and beyond to assistance his needs as well as provide documentation and assistance for his onward move to school. I truly couldn’t fault them. A lovely, modern setting that’s well-maintained. My sons have attended here since January 2022, and we’re so impressed with the setting.

My son has thrived from day one and all team even outside of his class have taken time to get to know him – which shows because he is so cheerful to see them! I drop him off with no worries, and picking him up is lovely because the team are cheerful to take time out to discuss their day. I can’t suggest it enough. It has been life changing for us as a family taking away so many worries and knowing my son is number 1 priority like he is at home! This childcare centre setting and all of its team are nothing but outstanding.

The team that i interacted it’s highly nice, and they worried about the kids. So far, my journey with Fradley footsteps been a great one. My son loves to go to childcare centre, all the time I drop him he wants to go inside playtime, they do a lot of activities outside with the kids aswell, and I see on my son the difference before and after going to childcare centre.

We’re truly cheerful with the childcare centre – my daughter loves attending, she loves her key workers and is consistently cheerful when I drop her off. She has come along incredibly in terms of self‑assurance. The team are consistently truly supportive and cheerful to answer any questions I might have. The app is highly useful to ensure I have all the information about eating/sleeping etc. I would like to have an idea of what she’s done throughout the day on the app though, similar to how we used to get a little description of today’s activity on the paper diary slips we used to have before the new app was introduced. Overall I’d definitely suggest Footsteps to any parent considering enrolling their kid. I chose to consider enrolling my daughter at Footsteps after some great feedback from local parents, and after visiting the childcare centre during the october (’21) open day, we chose to enrol her.

The team are outstanding and have truly got to know my son. There consistently seems to be a wide range of activities, and I adore that they try to spend as much time outside as possible. The transition between rooms is also truly great. We are exceptionally pleased with Footsteps Fradley Childcare centre & Pre-School.

He consistently has a excellent time with all the activities and especially adore Tiny Ducks! They also get the chance to go on walks around the local area and have lots of outdoor playtime. The team are lovely and have consistently been so supportive when we’ve needed assistance. Fradley Footsteps childcare centre is incredible, we’re so cheerful we chose to send our son there and he loves going.

The childcare centre is in a lovely location with outstanding facilities catering for both indoor and outdoor playtime and discovering. The team are attentive and attentive to the kids at all times. There have been some staffing shortages especially during winter when you expect increased absences. However this has been reported nationally as an issue in the childcare centre community post pandemic. There are some things which could be improved like having 2 apps for parents rather than 1 app which does everything as we have experienced in other nurseries. However any criticisms are minor annoyances. Overall I would highly suggest this childcare centre to others in the area. Overall our journey has been highly positive.

You will consistently see a welcoming face within the setting. It’s so comforting to know my kid is being looked after by such compassionate and attentive individuals who genuinely adore what they do. My kid has developed in speech, language and most of all self‑assurance. Which tells me he is cheerful and comfortable in his surroundings, he’s consistently happily running into childcare centre and engaging with the team. I would highly suggest this childcare centre, it’s been such a positive journey for us and I know my kid will consistently remember his time at Footsteps Fradley Childcare centre and Pre-School. Footsteps Fradley Childcare centre and Pre-School is such a welcoming, cheerful setting not only for my kid but for the parents too.

He has been since he was 6 months old and has truly flourished in that time. Special mention to the incredible team there who make all of that possible. Especially the childcare centre team to name but a few. Our son absolutely loves the childcare centre with its remarkable surroundings and excellent range of activities.

Our son has attended for 3 years and will finish preschool this summer. I believe he has thrived since attending this childcare centre. The preschool room have done a remarkable job in preparing him for school in September. The team are so lovely and attentive, I know our daughter will delight in it just as much when she starts! Fradley Footsteps is such a lovely childcare centre in a perfect setting.

We’ve only had positive experiences with the team at Footsteps Fradley Childcare centre & Pre-School.
They even had a breakfast morning in the car park one day which was highly welcomed!
Highly suggest this childcare centre! My son loves going to Childcare centre and happily goes to the team member, he is consistently so smiley and cheerful when we go and pick him up.

The team are consistently welcoming and welcoming and willing to help with any questions that we have had. We are kept up to date daily with what our kid has been doing during her time there each session and informed promptly if there are any issues (kid had an injury or needs collecting) etc. We have been truly cheerful with everything the childcare centre has to offer for our kid and noticed how much her development has grown whilst she has been attending. Our kid has been attending the childcare centre for the past year and has settled truly well.

A real shame considering the setting and location, but since Family First took over the Footsteps chain this childcare centre has been run into the ground. Over subscription of kids, chronic understaffing (resulting in the admin assistant and cook having to provide care!) and endless logistical challenges (including forgetting to top up the gas!) are just some of the issues we faced in our time there. The lack of ability to enter our kid’s setting, and lack of updates on his discovering and development (2x EyLOG updates in 4 months), were also disappointing especially when you consider the day rate for this childcare centre is for a premium setting.
I hope for the sake of the other kids in the setting that the childcare centre can get back on track. Don’t let yourself be sold by appearances! An extended period of poor updates, “first come first served” care provision, team negativity and a lack of structured discovering resulted in us removing our kid from this childcare centre.

He has settled in truly well since he joined in August 2022 and the team have truly helped his personality come out while with them. His key worker has been incredible, keeping us updated with his day to day achievements and looking after him when he has been poorly, which is every mums worst nightmare! He loves all the activities the team plan, especially the weekly music lessons that come in. According to his daily diary he loves the food too! Plus the updates is truly great between management around any additional sessions needed, invoices etc. Since visiting various the nurseries at the start of 2022 I knew Footsteps Fradley was where I wanted my son to spend his days.

After a couple of months of staffing issues (along with the whole childcare industry) and management changes (original management returning from maternity leave), the childcare centre has turned a corner and these issues seem to have now been resolved.

The management are cheerful to listen to any issues or changes that may be suggested to help the care of the kids, including having a parent forum in which parents can take part to listen to management and provide positive feedback and changes on the running of the childcare centre.
The current team genuinely care about the kids and have different activities planned every day including forest school, sports activities and tiny ducks. Room leaders are approachable and take on board any issues/advice you give them and a lot of outdoor time is encouraged which is excellent. My son has been attending this childcare centre for over 2 years and it is a fantastic place which he loves attending.
