May 11, 2021 at 12:00 amAmazing nursery and staff. My little boy loves going and always comes out with a smile on his face. He has come on leaps and bounds with their care and dedication. They have coped brilliantly throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and stayed open which has been a God send when I’ve had to work. Fab team.

May 11, 2021 at 12:00 amOur son has attended the nursery since he was eight months old, he is nearly three now. We moved from Sussex and struggled to find a setting that matched our expectations from our setting there. We were over the moon to find Flying Start @ Cornwall College – Camborne. It was clean, tidy, plenty of toys, materials and facilities. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about their role in our child’s development and provide support with things such a behaviour management and potty training. During the pandemic both children were provided with learning opportunity ideas and emails. The communication between nursery and home is great. The use of the app helps give a glimpse into our sons activities throughout the week.

May 13, 2021 at 12:00 amMy daughter has only recently started nursery. After spending most of her life in lockdown we wanted her to start nursery, but it was a big step for us. We didn’t need to worry, all the staff at the nursery seem so caring and my daughter so far seems to really enjoy her time there.

May 13, 2021 at 12:00 amI was super anxious about sending my little boy to nursery for the first time, especially after lockdown and spending so much time with just me, but all of the staff at the nursery reassured me and made the transition really easy on me and more importantly my little one! He settled so quickly despite only doing one session a week and is really thriving. I love looking through his observations and really enjoy seeing pictures of him at nursery. Being a practitioner myself I appreciate the effort that goes into keeping parents in the loop at all times! I can’t praise the staff enough for making my little boys time at nursery so lovely, he comes out smiling, with a full tummy and clean nappy every session and we have no complaints at all! Massive thanks to all the staff at Flying Start!

May 13, 2021 at 12:00 amMy little boy is a full-timer at the nursery and loves it. He enjoys playing with other kids and garden activities. Also he learns fast and loves book reading. I am very pleased with the help offered in regards to potty training. The staff are always pleasant and provides feedback. In addition, there are pictures of my little boy available online for us to see.

May 13, 2021 at 12:00 amThe team have been great with settling my 2-year-old back into nursery and he is a lot happier and content getting back into his routine. They have been really helpful and proactive in helping with his speech which is a little behind and sorting out referrals for extra support. He is always really happy to go into nursery and loves the people. I also really like the updates of what he’s up to during the day that we get on the app and the extra resources we get through it.

He started going at 8 months old and they were so flexible letting us gently settle him in over a few months, useful as he’s a lockdown baby. They’ve been so gentle and kind with him and respectful of parenting choices. We can see he’s been enjoying all the different activities. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I can go to work knowing my boy is safe and well cared for.

July 26, 2021 at 12:00 amMy little boy has special needs and is full of energy. The staff at the nursery have helped him so much and helped me as well. If it was not for the time he spends at nursery I would have lost the plot by now. His key worker is an amazing woman as they all are. I completely trust them all and have no worries that he will be safe and well cared for.

November 29, 2021 at 12:00 amMy son started in April 2021. He had never left me and then lockdown happened so a total mummy’s boy. He cried for the first few weeks and the staff were amazing and patient with him. He only cried when I said bye. The observations reassured me he was happy and playing. He spoke about new friends and his key worker often. Although he doesn’t talk much at nursery, he always tells me about his day. This week he actually felt confident to eat his lunch there, as he has been reluctant despite the efforts of the staff. The staff are all very knowledgeable. When viewing the nursery I asked them many questions on safeguarding, the curriculum, FGM, radicalisation and much more (I previously worked in a nursery) and they answered all my questions in full and I knew my son would be safe. The nursery is always well-stocked, and engaging. I hope in the future my son will be taken out for a walk on a little trip as he still hasn’t yet. Keep up the good work!

He has come on so much since attending this nursery and has settled in so well. I love how much time they spend playing outside and the learning and creativity that the nursery provides means that we can go to work feeling full of confidence that he is being well cared for and enjoys his time there.

February 22, 2022 at 12:00 amAbsolutely fantastic setting! Both my 3 year old and 8 month old are happy within the nursery and the staff couldn’t be more welcoming and friendly. The manager is so lovely and always more than happy to help where she can! My girls have attended the nursery since September and have settled amazingly and their development speaks for itself since beginning nursery. Couldn’t think of a better place or better people to leave my children with! Two happy, healthy children who are well-fed, comforted and loved at home and within nursery!

February 22, 2022 at 12:00 amI would never put my children anywhere else. My eldest went to the Preschool here and my youngest started the Day Nursery at the start of January. Although my youngest hasn’t settled as quick as my eldest did. I need to take into consideration that he is a year younger and has never been left with anyone other than myself or his Dad. This Day Nursery Team do their absolute best (given every difficult circumstance put in their way) to make sure your child is cared for, reassured that they’re safe and comfortable in their settings and that they have fun and enjoy their time there, whilst learning.
As a parent, they are always there at the end of the phone or on EY Log to reassure you and put your mind at ease on any worries you may have, however big or small! I truly feel confident that whatever mood I leave my little one in at drop off that he is in safe hands and that he’ll be looked after for the time he is there. Thank you Flying Start!

February 23, 2022 at 12:00 amMy girls absolutely love Flying Start. The site is great and all of the staff are brilliant! I highly recommend this nursery. They do such a variety of activities, my girls always come home buzzing at the end of the day and always look forward to going back.

He’s really bonded with the staff there and he runs in and out smiling – I think that says it all. A happy child speaks volumes. Couldn’t ask for more as a parent.

All of the staff are amazing and just so lovely. The food options are great. They have been great through this pandemic, always communicating with you through email and the app.
