September 13, 2024 at 3:42 amMy son consistently comes out of childcare centre cheerful and with bits he has made. I’m provided with a book of what he’s done throughout the day including food and toileting. I would fully suggest First Friends Alton for their compassionate, and thoughtful approach to childcare. My son has attended First Friends childcare centre for approximately one year and loves everyone, one in particular.

We have a updates book which lets us know what she has been up to in the day and what she’s eaten and toileting. Super welcoming attentive atmosphere. My daughter has been attending First Friends for over a year now.

November 28, 2024 at 11:05 pmThe team and management are incredible, they make you sense a part of it all. I cannot say enough great things about this childcare centre. It was exactly what we wanted. Free roaming indoors and out, activities and playtime for the littles and when they are bigger they have a better routine ready for school but with all the enjoyable still! We adore it. My first kid is still at the childcare centre and my second started today.

December 12, 2024 at 5:53 pmMy three year old skips into First Friends without a backward glance and thoroughly enjoys his time there. He often brings back reams of craft he has worked on throughout the week. He spends lots of time in the garden and particularly enjoys the mud kitchen and the balance bikes. Our eldest is at the school next door which makes it a very convenient location for us. The manager has organised events including parent’s evening, Halloween and an upcoming kids in need event which my kid is looking forward to. My kid is very cheerful at the childcare centre and has been encouraged to make some lovely friends. Excellent childcare centre with a compassionate attentive team.

He is discovering so much while being there and we are so excited to see how much he develops before school. My 3 year old has just started and what an incredible journey so far, he is having the best time and loves coming to childcare centre and that’s made so much better by how lovely and attentive the team are.

All the team are just incredible and have made my little girl so so cheerful and they have got rid of her separation anxiety completely!

January 18, 2025 at 9:31 amShe runs in without looking back and I know she’s going to have the best day. The variety of food and snacks are excellent. At the end of each day, I get an update of what she has been doing and how much she has eaten. The team are all so lovely and have a excellent connection with the kids. I would 100% suggest this childcare centre to anyone. My daughter absolutely loves coming to First Friends.

February 7, 2025 at 6:09 amMy son loves going to First Friends Day Childcare centre when he first started he did not speak English and he learned it with in a few weeks time all the team is compassionate with my son and he has the best day in childcare centre, loves going to childcare centre and has enjoyable with all his friends.

Excellent team who really care about the kids and keep the parents updated with how they’re getting on.

March 13, 2025 at 5:21 pmMy son has been there since age two and he has been nurtured and encouraged from day one. It is a small attentive setting with lovely team and an outstanding variety of cold and hot foods. There are two outside areas – one for each of the age groups, with a range of enjoyable playtime equipment. Although he was nervous at first, my son loves his time at First Friends. The session times are flexible and the team are able to accommodate changes to our routine bookings. I highly suggest First Friends Day Childcare centre in Alton.

He enjoys the food and all the activities, especially the forest school. The team are lovely and it has a real family welcoming sense whilst also keeping us very well informed with regular updates about his day and things coming up. Keep up the excellent work! We adore First Friends Alton childcare centre.

April 1, 2025 at 11:17 pmThe team that we have dealt with are welcoming and make a real effort to ensure our kids are settled and cheerful. Lovely outside space which is used whatever the weather. Our son really grew in self‑assurance here and our daughters seem to be having a blast.
The link with the school is exceptional too, making the transition to starting Yr R that much easier. Would definitely suggest it. We have been really impressed with the childcare centre so far.

April 12, 2025 at 1:28 pmThe team were so accommodating with my daughter’s settling in needs and she has been very well occupied with the excellent range of activities and toys available at the childcare centre.
My daughter has her favourite member of team but all of them are lovely and my daughter is very cheerful there. Because the childcare centre is located on the school site, the childcare centre kids get to use the school grounds and join in with school activities, which I hope will make the transition to school easier when the time comes. My daughter tells me she wants to go to childcare centre every day! My 3 year old daughter has settled in so well to this lovely childcare centre.

April 18, 2025 at 10:43 amHis first few months at First Friends met my standards which were already very high. However, as he attended this childcare centre more and more I noticed that this was by far the best I had seen (and I have seen most in the area). The team know him in some ways better than I do. His behaviour has improved by miles, he is such a sociable and welcoming character and he is developing far beyond his age group which the team never fail to praise him for. He is so cheerful to go to childcare centre which only proves how well they are looked after. Every week he comes home with paintings/ food they made/ stories about his day. I’m not an easy parent to please with friends and family members having worked in the industry themselves, but we are all stunned by how expert but personal First Friends is. I cannot praise the team enough for how cheerful they make him and how much they clearly do for the kids. My kid attended childcare centre elsewhere prior to First Friends and I was adamant nothing would top this.

My son’s development has really come on, and I genuinely believe it is partly down to his time spent at childcare centre. He is consistently cheerful to go in and is provided with activities to learn and have enjoyable throughout the day. I have felt as a parent that I am listened to, and the team work with parents on routines and naps if needed. My son has attended First Friends for just over a year now.

She took a little while to settle being very anxious leaving the house but the childcare centre manager and the team came up with new ideas to help her settle and make sure myself and my daughter were cheerful each time. It wasn’t long before she had smiles on her face every day and was cheerful to go in. Can’t thank the team enough for making sure she is thriving and cheerful. Very welcoming setting and team.

The team are consistently so excited to share his development with us at collection like when he learnt to say ‘ready, steady, go!’ Their enthusiasm and care creates such a welcoming setting and with their detailed daily updates with us at collection, in the books and updated on the app, we can relax knowing how well he is being looked after. First Friends has been such a excellent first childcare centre for us and our little boy.
