September 17, 2024 at 7:04 amFrom the moment I enquired about Finkley East Anton, I was reassured and made to sense at ease. The team regularly emailed to keep me updated with the process and to book settling sessions. He’s settled really well and that’s down to the remarkable key worker system the childcare centre has, my son knows who his key person is but will happily go to all the team as they are so welcoming and welcoming. The farm visits are a bonus especially and I’ve been told they get to go on other trips in the local area as they have a bus.
Thank you everyone for looking for my little boy and helping him settle into childcare centre life. My son has just started at Finkley East Anton and despite it being my second kid I still felt incredibly anxious about leaving him.

October 14, 2024 at 2:40 amThe team are remarkable, they take time to get to know the parents and updates with us is outstanding. They provide so much assistance to parents with things like potty training etc. They adore my son and his key worker has put in so much effort to help with his speech and development. My youngest is already registered to join the childcare centre when he turns two next year. I could not have asked for more from Finkley as they are exceptional, every single team member including the kitchen team. Finkley East Anton Childcare centre is the best childcare centre by far.

The team are consistently welcoming at the door and are consistently willing to help.
The activities they put out provide the kids with so many different discovering experiences!
Cannot wait for him to grow and develop with Finkley. My kid started Finkley East Anton Childcare centre and Pre-School in September and was worried and quite upset going in but the team are incredible with him and so patient.

The team are so welcoming and it really puts my mind to rest knowing he is being so well looked after. Couldn’t suggest them enough. My nephew has been going to Finkley East Anton Childcare centre since April 2022.

December 29, 2024 at 10:15 amMy daughter loves going to childcare centre and skips on in every day. She loves the trips to the farm and little outings they do, such as magic shows and the circus. I could not ask for any more. The team are so lovely and very supportive, they have gone above and beyond to help with my daughter’s development delay and partial hearing loss.

January 5, 2025 at 2:43 pmShe has settled really well thanks to the supportive team team. Although there is a key worker system in place all the team ensure they got to know my daughter so that they could assistance her if she needed it. The childcare centre arranges a wide range of activities including trips into the community such as shops and local parks and of course they regularly visit Finkley Farm. Their updates with parents is through the Tapestry app which is regularly updated. We also receive weekly planning so that we know what our daughter will be focussing on the following week.
Overall, we are very impressed and have already recommended the childcare centre to others. My daughter has been attending since September 2022.

January 8, 2025 at 6:31 pmThe team are consistently very welcoming when I come to collect him, they are cheerful to offer advice and my son is consistently cheerful to see whoever is at the door when he arrives. They really helped me to crack the toilet training.
I have been really impressed with the variety of activities that offered to the kids and opportunities to go to the farm.
The updates between the childcare centre and parents is great. The newsletter and use of an app means that I sense well informed of what is happening and what is coming up next.
I would definitely suggest the childcare centre to others. My son has been going to the childcare centre since September and I can’t fault it.

February 6, 2025 at 11:31 pmMy daughter started there in January and was really excited to go, unfortunately she started to be a little worried about going after about three weeks but the team at the childcare centre welcomed her so nicely that she soon forgot about that and went eagerly again.
I am so pleased that I selected this childcare centre above all others. It is perfect. The childcare centre is outstanding in every way.

February 7, 2025 at 6:22 amHe has attended since the childcare centre opened. We couldn’t have asked for more. He has been to another childcare centre beforehand and that doesn’t compare to how well run East Anton is. The team there are lovely and do anything for my son and he consistently comes out cheerful after spending time at the farm, soft playtime and lovely food in his belly. His key worker has been exceptional and has really helped him delight in going to childcare centre and comforts him on an occasional morning when he doesn’t want to leave his mummy. Overall it’s a really great childcare centre and they do a lot for the kids. This year we’ve had a well organised sports day at the farm, graduation day, leavers party with bouncy castle, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day picnics and games. It has really been an entertaining year for my little boy and East Anton has prepared him well to step up into primary school. Thank you all so much! My son is at the stage where he is just about to leave East Anton to go into primary school.

I would definitely suggest Finkley Nurseries to anyone looking for childcare. I look forward to the rest of my son’s journey here and making lots of memories. My son started Finkley Childcare centre (East Anton) in September and in only a short space of time he has settled so well and made a bond with his key worker.

My son loves coming to Childcare centre and every day I can see how much he already learns and is developing new skills and experiencing new things. Every time when we have asked for any help or advice from the team, you get such a great assistance and willingness to help you out. Overall we definitely suggest this Childcare centre to anyone. March 5, 2025 at 7:25 pmThey are incredible, so supportive, consistently give my kid the attention she needs. They consistently give great ideas of what to do with the kids at home (activity to do). They take the kids to the farm which is lovely as they interact with animals. My kid has been going since last year when it first opened.

March 8, 2025 at 6:55 amOur son settled so quickly and doesn’t even say goodbye to us when we drop him off and comes out with the biggest smile on his face at pick up time! The team are fantastic, you can tell they truly care about the kids and they take the time to let us know all about what our son has been up to. It’ll be sad to say goodbye to them all before he goes to school this September but I’m glad he will have the incredible memories of his lovely time there! Our son joined the childcare centre in September 2021 and we were super apprehensive after our daughter had had a bad journey with a different childcare centre.

March 11, 2025 at 4:37 amIt took a while, but with exceptional team/key workers who are very attentive to the kids’s needs, our girls have grown in self‑assurance, learnt so much and are making excellent development! They absolutely adore going to Finkley East Anton Childcare centre and I know they’ll really miss it when they leave! We will be forever grateful for all of the help and assistance we have received throughout their time there! I couldn’t suggest it enough! Our twins were late starting childcare centre due to health concerns around covid, the childcare centre knew this and knew that we were all feeling anxious and therefore worked really hard to make us all sense comfortable and cheerful.

April 8, 2025 at 3:48 amMy little girl has come out of her shell so much in just 6-months and constantly asks to go to childcare centre. The team are very supportive, and everyone is very welcoming. My daughter’s key worker is absolutely lovely and consistently on the ball. My little girl does a long day twice a week, and I was worried it would be too much for her, but she consistently has the best time, and I know if she gets upset, her key worker knows how to handle it. They’ve also helped her ditch the dummy, and we’re working on potty training. My daughter also loves the added bonus of being able to visit Finkley farm, and I think it’s excellent they have soft playtime where the kids can let off steam in the winter. We have all enjoyed Finkley and the effort they put into making each day enjoyable-filled and interesting.

They have come on leaps and bounds in their social skills, speech and self‑assurance The team keep me updated daily via tapestry and have already begun the transition sessions to prepare them for school.
One highlight for me is the number of trips out of setting the team arrange. They are linked with Finkley Down Farm and visit regularly but they also visit local lakes, parks and green spaces. I also really appreciate the themed crafts the kids create which is influenced by the discovering theme of the week. It’s really lovely seeing my kid proudly clutching their creation. The outdoor space is excellent and they have space to grow things.
Ultimately the team are incredible. They have achieved so much in the year they have been open and during the pandemic. I can’t thank them enough. My kid first started at Finkley East Anton when it first opened.

June 28, 2025 at 9:19 pmTo see so many exciting up and coming activities, not forgetting the incredible day to day activities that are so wonderfully planned. The team work hard and do so much for the kids. Finkley East Anton is a place where my daughter is comfortable and cheerful, as well as offering me assistance while going through a difficult time.
As sad as I will be to see her leave this year to go to school, I’m excited that we can continue our journey with my son starting in September. Such a remarkable setting for kids, and you can see this in their faces when they come out from childcare centre. The conversations we have about activities, friends and the team. It’s a real comfort, especially to parents who may be anxious about their little ones starting their childcare centre journey. It’s a 10/10 from me. After recently receiving the latest newsletter it dawned on me just how cheerful I was that I chose this setting for my daughter to move to last September.
