September 9, 2024 at 6:55 pmWe had nothing to worry about! From day one, the team made our kid sense cheerful and relaxed and he quickly looked forward to going to see all his friends.
The childcare centre makes the most of the space it has and although there is no garden area, they do have an outdoor playtime area and are within a minute of the moors which the childcare centre visit on a number of occasions.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Edgemoor! We had issues at a previous childcare centre, hence were very nervous about our son starting at a new childcare centre.

The team provide a fantastic variety of outdoor, creative, musical and culinary activities, to name but a few! I have been so impressed with the interest and care they take in looking after my daughter and I would highly suggest Edgemoor. Edgemoor Childcare centre provides a very nurturing and encouraging setting.

December 2, 2024 at 10:15 amThe team are excellent with babies, toddlers and preschoolers. They were cheerful with using cloth nappies. Our daughter was very clingy as a baby but soon bonded to her primary carer and has blossomed. She has nearly finished there and we are so pleased we chose Edgemoor. A small welcoming childcare centre with a family sense.

January 1, 2025 at 7:47 amAll 3 of our kids have gone there. We have consistently found the team to be very compassionate and attentive, (like 2nd mums) while laying down ground rules that have helped to set them up for school/life.
All of my kids have loved their time there. We will be sad to say goodbye when my daughter leaves shortly to go to school, she will only be just 4 when starting but is more than ready. This is down to the high standards that the owner and team maintain. I have consistently found them to be very accommodating, and flexible when I’ve had to change dates or times. I have recommended the childcare centre in the past and will continue to do so. We have been using Edgemoor childcare centre for 9.5 years now.

January 5, 2025 at 9:25 amMy daughters have been very cheerful. I chose this childcare centre because it was highly recommended by friends and I’m so glad I did. There is a really inviting, almost homely sense about the childcare centre and you couldn’t ask for a more welcoming greeting every time you drop your kid off. The team really know each kid and adore to talk to you about them and how their day has been at pickup time. My youngest will be leaving next week and I’m very sad it will be the end of our Edgemoor days. Both of my daughters have attended this childcare centre and I have nothing but praise for all who work here.

March 16, 2025 at 10:44 pmMy daughter, who is now 3 years, has attended since she was 11 months – she has moved up through the different baby, toddler and school rooms and just loves her childcare centre days. She participates in such a wide and enjoyable range of activities, from culinary ones and crafting, to walks on the nearby moorland. Special days and occasions are consistently marked in the loveliest of ways too. It has a ‘home from home’ sense and we really couldn’t have asked for a better childcare centre. Thank you to the manageress and your incredible team. We were recommended Edgemoor by a friend who said “the kids are so loved and cared for there” and we really have found this to be the case.

April 5, 2025 at 4:20 amOur son struggled with separation anxieties initially but soon settled in very well, all thanks to the excellent, attentive team and the very welcoming setting. He was extremely cheerful and consistently looked forward to going to Childcare centre to learn and playtime with his close friends. Edgemoor has helped with his overall development and provided a very great transition from Childcare centre to School.
Thank you to the Manager and her team for helping my son grow and help ease the transition. We were recommended Edgemoor from a friend/expert at a local playgroup.
