Dunkys Day Nursery (Sankey)

I highly suggest this childcare centre. Excellent facilities and team are consistently very approachable and welcoming, my granddaughter loves attending this childcare centre and has lots of enjoyable with the team doing lots of activities every day.

The team are incredible and helped our little girl settle in so well. She has started to thrive since being there (currently 4 days a week) and her development has come on strength to strength. I’m an anxious person which unfortunately means I’m a very anxious mum so this transition from maternity leave to childcare centre has been quite difficult for me personally but I can see how compassionate and attentive the team are and my daughter is so cheerful and comfortable with them which is lovely to see and this has made things so much easier. The team work with us and act as a team with my husband and I which is excellent. As she’s changing and developing so fast, the team are cheerful to implement new things that we’re doing at home now too. It says it all when I drop her off and she runs in cheerful to start the day. Couldn’t ask for more! Excellent childcare centre, I have already recommended it to a friend whose little girl has recently started.

He joined at 18 months and has come on leaps and bounds. I’m really impressed and would highly suggest. Fabulous and welcoming team have made our son sense both welcome and secure at the childcare centre he loves to attend.

The team are really lovely, connect well with the kids and do lots of engaging activities. All extra requirements our son needed were worked into his care. Very cheerful! Our son settled in quickly.

We were offered as many settling in days as we felt he needed and were never made to sense rushed or obligated to choose Dunky’s on our first visit. The team are all super welcoming and know him by name when we arrive in the morning, and he consistently goes in without a problem, which definitely helps with the mum guilt. We adore that we get updates throughout the day on the app and recently attended our first ‘parents evening’ which isn’t something I thought we would do until school but it was lovely to hear his development and get a sense of things he does while he’s there, really couldn’t suggest them enough. Our little boy started in January 2022 and we couldn’t be happier with the service and setting Dunky’s Day Nursery Sankey provides.

My eldest has just graduated and his bond with the team has been lovely, he has progressed well throughout his time there.
My youngest kid is 1 and has had issues medically, the Dunkys team have been so incredible and reassuring. My kid has really settled in and built remarkable relationships with the team, he is cheerful and excited to go to childcare centre in the morning. The team have been incredible with any medication he has and really ensured all his needs are met. We as a family highly Recommend Dunkys to anyone. It’s a remarkable childcare centre and your kids will have the best time and be given the best care. I have 2 kids at Dunkys, Sankey and wouldn’t dream of sending them anywhere else.

My little boy really enjoys going – he is straight in the door when I drop him off. I was recommended by a friend, and I’m really glad I put him in Dunky’s. Amazing team, very expert, welcoming and supportive.

He has developed so much since starting there, especially his speech. The team are fantastic and he has formed excellent bonds with them all. I have recommended Dunkys to all of my friends! My son absolutely loves going to Dunkys Day Nursery at Great Sankey, he even asks if he can go on days that he isn’t in childcare centre!

My daughter started Dunky’s when she was 10 months, old back in 2019. I felt very comfortable leaving her with all of the team, one member in particular in the baby room who is very compassionate and supportive and was just incredible with her. After returning from covid I was worried that she wouldn’t settle back in, we had tears beforehand, but the manager and her team have done an outstanding job of making sure she enjoys the day and her fussy eating is attended to. Thank you to all, she has come on leaps and bounds and is definitely in great stead for when she will start primary school Sep 2023. Fabulous childcare centre.

They adore their time there and we sense very comfortable sending them to Dunkeys. All the ladies working there are attentive and take the time to know the kids, their likes, dislikes and how to comfort them.
Our boys are very close and we adore how the ladies understand this and allow both of them to see each other through the day, this is usually over the garden fence. We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone at Dunkeys for the care and attention they give to our boys. We have 2 kids at Dunkeys Sankey, 1 in the baby room and 1 in the preschool room.
