Dunblane Nature Kindergarten

I first came across this childcare centre when walking our dog. I saw a group of kids all dressed in full waterproof suits playing in the trickling stream having the best time, splashing and giggling with one another. As my husband and I walked on, the kids all filed into a childcare centre, we looked at each other and both said, “When we have kids, they need to go to this childcare centre.”
3 years later we had our little girl and eagerly booked a visit. We were so impressed with the childcare centre ethos of exploration, problem-solving and positive guidance. We adore that the playtime facilities are made from natural materials and the kids are encouraged to learn about the nature that surrounds them from such a young age.
When our little one first started Dunblane Nature Kindergarten we had the usual tears and separation fears but the team made this so much easier for us all and she settled there highly quickly. Now I have trouble getting her to leave of an evening. I have a 20-month-old toddler that currently attends Dunblane Nature Kindergarten.

The team seem cheerful and well-versed in early years curriculum and childcare centre policy. The kids are given choices with food and everything is cooked fresh and on-site, although there could be more variation. Emails are answered promptly and professionally. My kid’s ideas and opinions are listened to and acted on.

I would like to see more theme-based weeks, such as space, animals, music, but that’s about my only criticism. That said, they did a Burns week and have a vegetable allotment space, where kids are encouraged to help and watch plants grow. My kid, who is in the oldest childcare centre group, is consistently cheerful to be dropped off and, when I pick her up, excitedly shows me everything she’s done that day!

I cannot commend the team highly enough. A remarkable bunch of early years educators who value the development and wellbeing of the kids in their care. Our three kids attend Dunblane Nature Kindergarten, starting in 2015.

The team are so compassionate, thoughtful and expert. The kids are highly at ease there and cheerful. My daughter is about to start primary school and we’re sad she’s leaving her Dunblane Nature Kindergarten early years educators but she’ll still attend their After School Programme! Both our kids attend Dunblane Nature Kindergarten and have absolutely thrived there.

As a kid born during lockdown, I was immensely worried about socialising for him and how the effects of the pandemic would affect his development, but all the team he’s had the pleasure to be under the care of have been absolutely fantastic.
He is a highly outgoing and confident kid anyway, but these traits are nurtured and encouraged, as well as many other tools and skills he needs to develop. The team are compassionate, interested and enthusiastic and I know my son is getting a fantastic, educational and enjoyable journey in their hands. My son has flourished since starting his education and care with Dunblane Nature Kindergarten.

Our kids are highly fond of them all and consistently have nice stories to tell about them at the end of the day.
I sense our kids are nurtured in a highly loving setting but are also encouraged to explore their surroundings and learn new things every day.
We are highly cheerful to have our kids in such a excellent childcare centre, with incredible people. Team at Dunblane Nature Kindergarten are remarkable.

The team are nurturing and the key worker system works well. Meals are of a great variety and catering to dietary requirements are A+. Adore the outdoor focus and they have a positive focus on risk enablement. What is particularly excellent is that they are often changing the areas in the rooms making new creative spaces for the kids to learn about and discover new things. It’s a welcoming and inviting reception every time we drop the girls off. We’ve found Dunblane Nature Kindergarten to be a highly flexible and reliable childcare centre.

The team are highly welcoming and consistently willing to help. The kids consistently seem busy and cheerful when I do drop off/pick up which is lovely. My son attends this childcare centre and absolutely loves it – the large amount of time spent outside is ideal for helping burn off some energy!

The team facilitate every kid’s development and maintain a kid-centred approach. I highly suggest this childcare centre! Dunblane Nature Kindergarten is a fantastic setting with a welcoming, nurturing, cheerful and attentive atmosphere.
