June 13, 2022 at 12:00 amMy daughter started at Daisy Fays at 12 months old and loved it from day one. I never have to convince her to go to nursery, she looks forward to it. The level of care is great and over the last two years, I have seen her grow in confidence. The facilities are wonderful and her key workers have been supportive, caring and I feel genuinely enjoy the journey they are taking the children on.

June 13, 2022 at 12:00 amBrilliant nursery, warm and welcoming. My older child went to a different nursery as Daisy Fays hadn’t opened at that stage and I can honestly say that I would happily recommend this setting to anyone. There are always reassuring staff-to-child ratios and a good balance of female and male staff. My son settled into the preschool group very quickly and built positive relationships with both staff and children alike.
They also have an amazing, nutritious menu for lunch and snacks – all home-cooked by their in-house chef.
My 3-year-old loves all the quality and wide-ranging activities. There’s a huge outside space for all types of play and a newly opened forest school where children get to learn in a natural environment.

June 13, 2022 at 12:00 amMy 2-year-old has been here over a year now and loves it. There have been many changes in that year but they have continued to help with transitions and keep things calm for the children. I’ve had baked goods and pictures sent home regularly and photos and updates on what he’s been up to throughout each week.
They’ve got a wonderful outdoor space, which is one of the reasons I chose to send him here and have a dedicated chef on site. I’ve smelled some great smells coming from the kitchen.
The care given to my little one is amazing and he seems to love spending time with everyone there.
Can’t say enough good things really and I’m excited for my little one to start forest school soon.

June 13, 2022 at 12:00 amFantastic place, our tiny terror loves it and has learnt a lot and developed so much and the staff are so warm, welcoming and always happy to help. The app is really good as I work long hours so I can still see what she’s been up to during the day.

June 13, 2022 at 12:00 amOur son has attended Daisy Fays since December 2021 and started in the baby room, moved through to toddlers and now into Preschool. There has been a lot of work gone on over this time to the building and outdoor areas and this has really paid off resulting in a wonderful environment both inside and outside. The staff are all brilliant and we know that he is well cared for and very happy during his time there. We always get a great handover which has been especially appreciate during times of covid and not being allowed to enter the building. I would absolutely recommend Daisy Fays to anyone reading this review.

June 13, 2022 at 12:00 amI can’t fault Daisy Fays Truro! I had to find a nursery at short notice for my son, much sooner than we had planned. As I’m sure every parent is, I was very apprehensive about the transition. The staff were more than happy to show me around and answer all of my questions. Everyone was really supportive during my son’s settling in sessions and didn’t mind me checking in to see how he was doing. I was worried that only attending once a week would be detrimental to his settling, but he settled so much quicker and easier than I could have imagined. I love that the children get lots of time outside all year round, as well as loads of fun activities. He’s been going for six months now and runs in without even saying goodbye, he always has a great day and chats non stop about the staff. I can’t recommend this nursery enough!

June 16, 2022 at 12:00 amI cannot praise the nursery enough. They meet my son’s needs perfectly and every member of the staff are awesome! Would maybe suggest a menu change as it can be quite samey (for my very picky child) but that’s literally it! My son is always super excited about his days at nursery. I have great communication with the staff who work closely with my son and I’m super chuffed as I was very anxious about sending my son to nursery at all.

June 16, 2022 at 12:00 amWe really love Daisy Fays for our son. The staff are genuinely interested in his development and care, and I feel that they really know him and what he needs next. He loves going to nursery and every day is different for him. When he had a dietary requirement, they factored this into their plans carefully for him. I am always able to speak to a member of staff at the end of the day and their daily diaries and updates help us to see what he has been up to. Highly recommend.

I couldn’t wish for a better nursery for my child.

July 21, 2022 at 12:00 amMy son has attended Daisy Fays Nursery Truro since it opened and we have been exceptionally happy with all aspects of the care there. The staff are all great and he only has positive things to say when he comes home. The gardens and now forest school are brilliant and we are delighted by the range of activities. The food is well above what we could have asked for and my son appears to love it all.

August 11, 2023 at 12:00 amHighly recommend Daisy Fays and Truro Forest School. When looking for a nursery for our son, it was a no-brainer. No regrets.
The staff are fab and our son is always cheerful at the end of the day. A great start to his learning journey. We will truly miss it when he starts school.

August 11, 2023 at 12:00 amOur child has been at Daisy Fays Truro for a few months now and in particular, loves their time in the Forest School. The range of crafts, themes and level of care is absolutely fantastic. Even though they are outside surrounded by opportunities to get messy and mix with lots of children, our child always comes out with clean hands! Not that they don’t get dirty, just the hand washing is regular! The same cannot be said for other nurseries they have attended, personal hygiene is important. The staff are all very friendly and caring whilst maintaining a professional operation. At pick-up time, whoever brings our child to the gate knows how they have faired through the day, what crafts/activities they have participated in and, for our picky eater, what they have/have not eaten. I’m really sad that we didn’t find them sooner as the little one is off to school in September. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

August 14, 2023 at 12:00 amWelcoming lovely staff that have always put the safety and security of our children first. They have always listened to individual needs of our children and helped them develop in such positive ways. The boys have loved every day they spend at this nursery and I have always been happy leaving them in their care.
I do understand in our current economic climate the need for increases in fees however it has become an exceedingly expensive childcare setting especially comparative to other nurseries and settings. It will be an extremely difficult six months for us to have two children here until the new funding comes in next April. We are still looking at alternatives sadly though it goes against my heart’s desire.
