Daisy Day Nursery - Barry

My son has been through the baby room so far and I have been extremely happy with his time there. The staff are always lovely caring and communicate well with parents.

It’s such a daunting task choosing who to leave your baby with whilst you go back to work when family is not an option due to geography and I must admit I was despondent after visiting my first couple. They all had routines and ways my child had to become overnight and having a particularly strong-minded and not easily adaptable son I knew it would be a challenge but when I visited Daisy Day for the first time I couldn’t believe how great I felt. When I asked when he would be expected to sleep they simply said ‘when he’s ready’ and ‘we’ll do whatever it takes it just look after him’ it was that kind of family like care that I wanted. The staff in the caterpillars room are wonderful, understanding, non-judgemental and seem to take everything in their stride. Daisy Day is clean and purpose built which means the children have the space they need. I feel lucky to have got it right the first time with my choice of nursery and can’t thank the staff enough, bend over backwards for my child.

My eldest son started nursery in Daisy Day in 2011, he remained there until he left for full-time school. Now my other son goes to Daisy Day Nursery, he started 2015 and will leave for full-time school in September this year. Daisy Day Nursery staff are caring, enthusiastic, helpful and always there for the children and parent. It has a home from home feeling when you are in there. I would definitely recommend Daisy Day Nursery.

Great staff and fantastic care. My daughter has been attending since she was nine months and she has loved every minute of it.

We originally placed our son in a different nursery but soon took him out after some issues and placed him at Daisy. We haven’t looked back since. We felt it was the right place for our son from the minute we walked through the doors. Every single member of staff will acknowledge us and our son, even if he isn’t in that particular nursery section and he is always made to feel welcome and wanted. I have already and will continue to recommend Daisy to any parents.

Both my sons attended this nursery within an 8 year time difference and both times I have had no issues at all. Any small issues I had were sorted right away. Staff were great, friendly and always smiling. My sons loved going there and the staff can’t do enough for you, great place.

We had to move our girls to Daisy Day Nursery following the closure of their usual Nursery due to COVID-19. This was heartbreaking for us and we were really unsure – taking them to a place we didn’t know, with people we didn’t know.
But Daisy Day and all the staff have been fantastic. The girls have settled really quickly and we couldn’t have asked for more support or understanding. Every day, we drop them off and they both skip in with huge smiles on their faces. Our eldest often doesn’t want to leave! The girls will now be staying at Daisy Day. Thank you to all the staff for being there when we needed you – you are all brilliant.

We visited a number of nurseries in the area before choosing Daisy Day Nursery. Our choice was due to what we saw during our visit and recommendations of friends who had previously sent their children and provided positive recommendations. Our son has been going for over a year and has developed really well since attending. The staff are very child-centred and get to know your children’s traits which creates good bonds and your child having a good experience. Our child enjoys attending and gets excited in the car drive to the nursery. Communication has been faultless, especially in the Covid period when there were lots of changes for requirements etc would highly recommended.

Daisy’s has been a huge help. We can’t thank them enough. Our boys have settled well, and our youngest is growing massively in confidence every day. The staff in the nursery and over in camp have been amazing, and I can see they work hard.
The managers have been kind and fast to respond to my emails. Registration/settling ins were handled brilliantly.
Home-cooked meals every day, different activities every day, and a lovely atmosphere every day.
Highly recommended.

My son had a wonderful time at Daisy Day Nursery, it was great to see him go in happily and come home with a smile on his face too. We were regularly kept updated via the app and the staff members were more than happy to answer any questions we had. Would recommend.
