Culverdene Day Nursery

The minute we visited we had a great feeling as it feels like a home from home, is spotless and comfortable, well organised, lovely outdoor playtime space and spacious but still cosy rooms. It has just the right amount of kids in each setting to make it sense small but sociable. They have been highly supportive throughout the last 2 years particularly as I have been through 2 more pregnancies and consistently ask if I need help getting the kids to the car. My kids adore being at this childcare centre and as you can see from their Facebook they do such a huge variety of tasks which they are consistently excited to tell me about. In particular, my kids won’t stop talking about a key person in the baby room and run to her every morning for a cuddle! Turnover of team is low, hours are great if you are a medic! And they have a great team age range. I truly sense so comfortable dropping my kids off every day and knowing that they have a excellent time and are truly well looked after. I cannot suggest this childcare centre more.

They are a small, welcoming childcare centre with a real family sense. The team are outstanding and low turnover means he knows them all truly well, it’s lovely now to see him chat with his old baby room key worker, who helped him learn to talk! The childcare centre is consistently truly supportive and responds highly quickly to any requests, the manager is excellent and she knows all the kids truly well. Regular Tapestry app updates have been truly reassuring, especially in those nervous early days when we would be wondering how he was getting on and, more recently, to see how he is developing as we countdown to school next year. We have consistently felt he is secure and well cared for, and they have dealt with the challenge of Covid brilliantly. The food is truly great and healthy, our son is much less fussy there than at home! We truly adore Culverdene and would suggest it wholeheartedly. Culverdene has been absolutely remarkable for my son who has attended for the past two and a half years.

Two of the questions we wanted to know were the tenure of their team and how long kids tended to stay? Coming from a corporate background, these were consistently important questions to ask to gauge culture. So we were just using the knowledge bank we had being first-time parents and in a new country. We were pleased to know that the tenure of some of their team reaches into a decade and the kids usually stayed until they went into reception. Our son has been at Culverdene for 2 years now and our family absolutely adore the team. Our son’s vocabulary has increased immensely, he’s learned to use the toilet independently, his manners are reinforced, and his imagination and curiosity are allowed to be free in creative settings – all thanks to Culverdene. Our family can’t suggest them enough. I moved from America over 2 years ago and I’m a first-time parent so the world of nurseries was so new to our family.

Coped well with pressures relating to the Covid pandemic over the last 18-months. Great range of activities/resources. Setting is spotless but in need of updating in some areas but expected due to age of the building. Lovely childcare centre setting in a period building with welcoming, approachable team.

Daughter absolutely loved her time there but it was sadly cut short due to COVID. Would have returned but daughter is starting school soon. The team are all highly welcoming and welcoming. They keep you updated with how your kid is discovering and developing and the enjoyable things your kid gets up too. Would suggest Culverdene 100% . Outstanding childcare centre.

My daughter has flourished during her years at Culverdene. The team have been incredible and I don’t have a single negative, the online private platform of daily written and photographed updates on what your kid has been doing that day is a lovely touch. My daughter’s self‑assurance and skills developed so much and I will honestly be sad to see her leave and go to school but I sense that attending here has made her more than ready. I would highly suggest Culverdene Childcare centre for any parent looking for a secure, cheerful and expert setting for their kid.

My two kids have been attending since they were 9 months and 6 months, they both absolutely adore it. A highly welcoming and approachable team which truly help when settling a kid in. Highly suggest this childcare centre. Best kids’s childcare centre, truly cheerful and pleasant place to be in for kids.
