September 9, 2024 at 3:26 amMy daughter has been going full-time since 11 months, is now 24 months and I can honestly say she has loved every single day. The team are so attentive, enthusiastic and well‑informed. They ensure the kids spend adequate time outdoors, in the garden and exploring the woods. Sustainability and setting awareness are high on the agenda and the team are consistently accommodating to specific needs. I sense my daughter’s development has come on leaps and bounds, both in signing, speech and comprehension. The team keep us updated with pictures, news and a detailed handover at the end of the day. A remarkable team and childcare centre overall. I can not talk more highly of Country Day Nurseries.

September 30, 2024 at 4:27 pmShe’s cheerful in the mornings to go in and see her friends. Naturally, accidents happen and I have consistently felt we have received proper information and my daughter has received proper care.
We have been in 3 classes at Country Day and the activities in all have been enjoyable, and interactive my daughter likes to recreate these at home. She learns a lot at childcare centre and often surprises me with a new developmental skill she’s learnt over the week. In summer the kids seem to go out at least once a week to other playgrounds and to see the ducks. Not to mention the all-year-round outside areas they use daily. I would 100% suggest this childcare centre. My daughter loves Country Day Childcare centre.

November 1, 2024 at 7:11 amHe is so at home here and it is reassuring to me that our friends have accepted our recommendations and have their kids here too. There is a wealth of opportunity for childcare, but this childcare centre is head-and-shoulders above the majority. It is also a testament to the company as a business that team turnover is low. My son has been full-time at this fantastic childcare centre since he was 6-months-old.

November 2, 2024 at 10:33 pmThe woodland setting is just incredible but for us, without a doubt, the best feature is the incredible team, they are consistently welcoming, attentive and attentive and my daughter absolutely loves her days there. My daughter has been attending the childcare centre since she was 7-months-old as a snowdrop and she is now a little acorn at almost 3 years, it is incredible to see how much she has grown and developed over the last two years.

December 2, 2024 at 10:28 amUnfortunately, I had to take my son out of Country Day after just 6 weeks. We had two incidents including my son being bitten (no one was aware how and when) and a forceable nappy change. During a Stay and Playtime session, I witnessed some team being very negative towards the kids. Resources in the room were broken or pieces missing and the room was not set up well for the kids to playtime or extend their discovering, e.g the role playtime area was cornered off, writing resources not available for kids to select. The manager is excellent and she really helped my son to settle well, however, I could not ignore what I had seen and did not want my son in such a negative setting. When viewing, we were impressed with the childcare centre – the outside space is incredible and the setting is lovely.

December 12, 2024 at 7:52 pmHis first settling in session in snowdrops went better than I could ever anticipate. He went in first time, no tears. The team were incredible and truly care about the kids. He is now thriving in bluebells and the level of care, assistance and dedication the team offer is consistent across the rooms. It’s lovely to be greeted each day with a smile and positivity from the team. My son comes home cheerful and healthy each day. He loves his time there and is impatient to wait his turn to get through the door in the mornings.
Highly suggest! Being a mother of your stereotypical ‘lockdown’ baby, I had all sorts of anxieties with my son starting childcare centre.

January 7, 2025 at 3:52 amTheir team are expert, their admin is outstanding, they communicate well through weekly newsletters and a parents’ Facebook group, the activities are structured and well-thought out. My older kid has now been there over six months and is happily settled and fond of the team.
I have also recently settled my baby into the snowdrops room and I’ve been really impressed by their flexibility and willingness to replicate his home routines at childcare centre. I’m consistently relieved to be able to hand him over to such competent, responsible and hard-working people.
In short, Country Day is remarkable and they enable me to be fully present at work knowing my kids are well taken care of. After having moved my older kid from another childcare centre, Country Day Nurseries is a breath of fresh air.

January 8, 2025 at 12:52 amThe team take genuine, personal interest in the kids and my daughter has formed strong bonds with her key people. It’s small enough that all team seem to know all of the kids, regardless of which area they work in, which is lovely and reassuring in terms of safety. I’m consistently confident that she’s well looked out for and the range of playtime and development activities manage to keep a hectic toddler well entertained! I also like the emphasis on outdoor time, whatever the weather. She really enjoys her time there and comes out beaming every day and is excited to tell me what she’s been doing. I won’t hesitate to send my youngest baby there when I go back to work. I’m so cheerful with my choice to send my daughter to Country Day Nurseries, she’s a really reserved kid but I’ve really seen her come out of herself and become more confident among her peers and other adults during her two years at the childcare centre.

January 12, 2025 at 9:30 amOur little one absolutely loves it. The days are jam-packed with really exciting and enjoyable activities. My daughter is currently in Big Acorns and I sense that they are preparing her wonderfully for school in the near future. She is discovering how to be social, how to read and count, how to be independent – but most importantly how to delight in herself and have enjoyable. She consistently talks highly of the adults in the room – and our journey with the adults who work there has been fab too. I adore their outdoor space and the fact that they get the kids outside every day. I have been really impressed with the number of extra opportunities for parents and families to come and visit and get involved. I have already started the process of enrolling my second kid even though it’s a little way off yet. Highly suggest! We are so cheerful with Country Day Nurseries.

January 21, 2025 at 8:33 pmWe have both our kids here, one in the baby room, Snowdrops, and one in the pre-school room, Big Acorns.
We find the team welcoming and supportive, the childcare centre manager is outstanding at addressing any queries or issues and the kids have access to very great provisions.
The childcare centre brings people in to deliver phonics, PE, and music and they have French lessons. My kids adore attending and adore the team.
Most definitely worth a visit! I can highly suggest Country Day Nurseries.

February 8, 2025 at 7:52 amHe started when he had turned two and had never been away from me for more than an hour or so. It took a couple of days to settle him in and after that, he was consistently cheerful to go. The team are consistently really welcoming and go out of their way to help my son sense content. He is really sporty so they bought him a cricket bat to playtime with in the playground. He is also quite a fussy eater and when I asked the team, they were more than cheerful to sit with him and offer encouragement to finish off his lunch. These small things make such a difference as a parent and I would heartily suggest this childcare centre to anyone. They are consistently outside playing, which I adore, and I can tell my little boy is very cheerful there. My son has been at Country Day Childcare centre for just over a year.

February 27, 2025 at 6:29 pmShe has really come out of her shell since starting Big Acorns last year.
Week on week she is thriving, discovering and developing more than we ever expected.
The childcare centre has the most lovely setting in woodland, the food they offer is remarkable and the team are very approachable. I would highly suggest the childcare centre to others and will be sending our other daughter too. Our daughter loves attending Country Day Childcare centre.

March 2, 2025 at 1:41 amFor starters, the team are really approachable and build up a lovely rapport with the kids, developing the kids’s skills in a enjoyable and playful way. Secondly, the setting is remarkable. Each room contains a variety of resources appropriate to the kids’s ages. The outdoor space includes woodland as well as more traditional playground space and a excellent covered area for the babies. Our kid talks a lot about outside playtime at childcare centre. The management and updates are outstanding which is excellent for parents. The meals are healthy and our kid really enjoys them. Our kid took some time to settle in as a baby but I consistently felt reassured by the team and despite the disruption caused by Covid, she has been thriving at childcare centre for over two years. We have been really impressed with Country Day Nurseries.

March 16, 2025 at 3:26 amCountry Day is very accommodating and has handled all situations relating to the pandemic with professionalism and care for the kids and their families. We were really grateful to them during lockdown 2021, when we were able to put our daughter in for an extra day as our other childcare had fallen through.
As hard as it can be to leave your kid with someone else whilst you are at at work, I have full self‑assurance in the team attentive for my daughter whilst I am away and I know she is well looked after. She is well-fed with a variety of healthy meals/snacks, has numerous activities that offer her challenge and enjoyable during the day and she gets a great amount of fresh air and exercise, playing outside, having PE lessons and exploring the woodland area. Team are approachable and cheerful to offer assistance and advice when needed. The team at Country Day Nurseries have been remarkable from the very start when we made initial contact with them.

April 4, 2025 at 10:42 amWe are very pleased with our kid’s development at Country Day, the team are attentive and supportive – very approachable with anything that needs to be discussed. Updates is outstanding via management and my daughter loves it. My boys attended shortly until I gave up work and I’m pleased they will be returning in 2023. I would highly suggest this childcare centre. Prior to Country Day Nurseries, I had moved my kid from another childcare centre to a childminder; neither setting worked for us for different reasons – we had heard great things about Country Day (Penton Mewsey) and decided to give it a go.

April 10, 2025 at 10:41 pmI’ve been impressed with Country Day throughout. When we first visited we loved the setting with woodland for the kids to explore and found the team very welcoming. On my first day of dropping my daughter off, the team gave me a little goodie bag with some chocolate and tissues, demonstrating their empathetic approach to the kids in their care and their families. The childcare centre runs events during the year which give families a chance to journey the childcare centre setting as well as parents’ evenings. The leader of my daughter’s room is well‑informed and experienced. She regularly offers observations on development and ways that we can assistance her at home. My daughter is thrilled to see the team each morning which sets my mind at ease and I would have no hesitation recommending Country Day Nurseries to others. A weekly newsletter from the manager is a nice touch too. My daughter absolutely loves going which I think speaks volumes!

May 30, 2025 at 8:36 pmMy daughter has been at the childcare centre for two years now and has had a exceptional time. All of the team we have had contact with have been fantastic and have a genuine care and interest in all of the kids. The tiny details they are able to give you about their day shows their dedication and the focus they put into attentive for each kid. Our daughter consistently has a remarkable day at childcare centre and loves her key worker. They put exceptional effort into planning activities each week for the kids and our daughter has come on leaps and bounds since starting there. I cannot suggest the childcare centre highly enough. We are due number two this April and have already booked them in to start at the childcare centre for when I return to work. We’ve had a remarkable journey with Country Day Childcare centre.

June 6, 2025 at 11:57 pmThe whole team are incredible and you can tell that all the team have so much passion for their jobs. They care for the kids and the families. Our little boy started in Little Acorns and when it was time for him he moved to the next room, Big Acorns, which was a bit of a rocky transition for him, but all the team really helped him settle in and team from his previous room would encourage and help him too and now he just loves it! We both are not ready for our Country Days journey to end when he starts school this year. I can’t speak highly enough of the childcare centre. The outside spaces are just incredible for the kids and the activities that they do. We adore this childcare centre!

June 22, 2025 at 6:23 pmHe is so excited in the mornings to get there and rushes in as soon as he arrives. The team have consistently been so compassionate and reassuring. Especially when he first started as I was nervous about him starting childcare centre and returning to work. The activities they do with him are so varied and he spends a lot of time outside. I can’t praise the team there highly enough. My son absolutely loves this childcare centre.
