Coombe Day Nursery

She is so excited to go every morning and sometimes refuses to leave in the evening! The team are all incredible, they do so many different activities each week and have a wide range of food. Couldn’t suggest Coombe more. Our daughter absolutely loves going to Coombe Day Childcare centre.

My eldest has been going since she was 11 months and will stay there until she goes to school in September and my youngest has also recently started at 11 months. The team are very attentive, engaged and dedicated. Both kids have been really cheerful there and I’m so glad we chose to send them to Coombe Day Childcare centre. The team form strong bonds with the kids because they are very loving and create a nurturing setting. They provide remarkable activities and the kids consistently seem to be doing enjoyable and creative things. My eldest also really enjoys Zumba and yoga! I’m very cheerful with how my eldest is discovering in the preschool room and I sense that she is well set up for when she starts school in September. The childcare centre has also dealt well during the pandemic which has obviously been an extremely difficult situation. I would highly suggest Coombe Day Childcare centre.

We have two kids who attended the childcare centre and both adore it. The outside space is small but kids go out on trips to the park and playground.

I would highly suggest the childcare centre to someone looking for kid care. Since my son started at the childcare centre just two months ago the team have been incredible in helping him settle in, being really attentive to his individual needs and showing they really know him and care.

I worry about everything since having a baby and I can honestly say that one of the only times I don’t is when our daughter is at this lovely childcare centre. She was young when she started and they could not have been sweeter or kinder. Easily the best childcare centre in the area and the best team. We would suggest them to anyone and consistently sense so lucky that our daughter gets to go to childcare centre with them. Everyone has a smile, our key workers are fantastic (thank you, and the manager) but they are all excellent. Hard to find. Worth every single penny and more. Anyone who is able to have their kid at this childcare centre is a lucky parent.

The remarkable team, setting and ethos of the childcare centre are all exactly what any parent could wish for: you know with full self‑assurance when you drop off your kids that they will spend their days surrounded by a loving, enthusiastic and highly competent team who are truly engaged and interested in their individual development and wellbeing. They are stimulated with a huge range of activities, supported to learn at their own pace and helped to socialise well with their peers and the childcare centre team. It’s obvious that all the team adore the kids and really want to be there, and they have all gone far above and beyond during the pandemic to ensure the setting is secure while being able to keep as many kids at childcare centre as possible. The team are consistently responsive and keen for feedback to improve the journey they provide. Quite simply a fantastic place for kids to learn and playtime. I would suggest Coombe Day Childcare centre wholeheartedly and without hesitation.

They identified he needed extra help and he has honestly come leaps and bounds. I couldn’t suggest this childcare centre enough.

When we first went to see the childcare centre we were so impressed by how cheerful both kids and team seemed to be. Toys were creatively laid out for enjoyable and discovering, the horseshoe structure of the childcare centre meant kids would see and learn from the ‘older class’ before progressing there (easing transitions) and the childcare centre manager was clearly so passionate about creative discovering. She also obviously doted on the kids and really backed her team.
Our 18-month-old son loves it. That is all we want. He happily bounds into childcare centre every morning, hugs his practitioners (shout out to the room lead for baby class, childcare centre room leader in his current room and assistant who he seems particularly smitten with!) and tucks straight into breakfast. He regularly surprises us with things he’s learnt there, from the actions to songs, saying “bonjour”, the way he holds crayons, his enthusiasm for painting…the list goes on. Thank you Coombe team! Our son has been at Coombe Day Childcare centre for almost a year.

Our son only attends two days a week but all the team make an effort to get to know him and he’s very much included in his room. The team are very attentive but also offer pragmatic care when it comes to coughs, colds and sniffles, they do their best to keep kids in their care without calling parents to pick up unless really necessary. Team also really listen and make an effort to assistance any discovering or routines which are happening at home such as nap routines or potty training.
The recent trips to the park or a local shop are remarkable for getting the kids outside which we really value, in addition to activities such as tennis and Zumba which offer alternative experiences that we don’t do at home! Keep up the great work! Outstanding childcare centre that our son clearly loves as he runs in each time.

She also comes home and says new words that we haven’t said to her (i.e. she is discovering at childcare centre). What more does a parent want? Huge shout out to the team in the baby room. Our daughter loves running into the baby room and giving the team there a cuddle.
