The team are excellent at what they do and genuinely adore kids! Comparatively the cost is quite high compared to some other nurseries but you really do get what you pay for and I would highly suggest this childcare centre to anyone. A excellent childcare centre with remarkable facilities.

They talk with so much enthusiasm about the activities they get up to, the games they playtime and the songs they sing. They speak fondly about the friends they’ve made and their keyworkers too. All the team at the childcare centre are so welcoming and welcoming, whenever they’ve had a wobble, they’ve been right by their side and putting a smile back on their face in no time.
My oldest is off to school in September and will miss the pre-school room, her educators and friends. The pre-school room has given her a exceptional start for school with their phonics lessons and transition to school program.
Overall we are so cheerful with the childcare centre and couldn’t fault them. I have two kids at the childcare centre – my oldest has been going for nearly 3 years now, my youngest a year and they both adore the time they spend there.

Before moving here, she only knew a few words in English; now, she is confident to speak foreign people from all over the world. I see her self-esteem, and I am proud of her, and I respect the Co-op culture, her key person and all practitioners to assistance her strengths.
As an international MA student at the University, we were alone with my daughter in uncertainty for most of the term. Responsibilities have become challenging for me sometimes, but all team members in the Co-op encouraged me and made me sense in a compassionate setting.
We, as a family, think that this childcare centre is worth to use our savings for our daughter’s personal, cognitive and updates development in a multicultural place, at least for a school year. To the whole family members in the Co-op, thank you for attentive for our daughter and us. We sense at home! My daughter has been at the childcare centre since October 2021.

We’ve now got our second kid at the childcare centre, who’s much more of a quiet soul than his very outgoing older sibling. We’re very cheerful to see that the needs of very different kids are met, and their interests and curiosity fostered. The childcare centre provides a really attentive and stimulating setting for kids to grow up in.

Her key persons over the months have all been second to none. You know you are in the right place when your daughter is all smiles every time she enters the childcare centre and you can see her happily playing and interacting with team and kids when you pick her up. I know here she is in secure hands. My daughter has been at the childcare centre since early 2020.

The pandemic has been a tough time for all of us, but the Childcare centre has battled through, doing their best to keep their services running, and we only had a short time with no childcare, although this was stressful, due to both of us being at work. They kept us up-to-date with developments, and we consistently felt that our eldest was being well cared for, and was able to forge bonds with other kids, and with his key team members.

It’s now been the first few weeks of our one-year-old starting at childcare centre, and he has settled in really well. He will have missed the interaction with other babies, so it’s lovely to see him playing with them. The childcare centre team already seem pleased with him, and despite some dietary requirements due to a cows milk protein allergy, he has enjoyed snack time and lunchtime. Spaghetti Bolognese! Our eldest son has been at the Co-op Childcare centre and now Pre-school for the past 3 years, and he has loved his time there.

My kid in pre-school is getting a excellent start ahead of his transition to school in September and he enjoys his time at childcare centre. My younger kid is very cheerful going to childcare centre and enjoys the variety of games and activities he does. We are very cheerful with the childcare centre and especially how they have coped with the frequent changes to government guidelines and how they have communicated it all to us.

The team have built a genuine connection with my son and appreciate him for all of his cheeky and charming ways. They’ve helped him in so many ways socially and cognitively. I adore that they don’t have any screens so there’s no leaving kids watching cartoons, every activity is engaging and developmentally appropriate. I also adore that they try to limit plastic toys and follow a Montessori approach. The setting of the childcare centre is incredible with a lovely foyer for parents to sit in and an incredible garden. I’ve consistently felt heard and supported and that my kid’s best interest has consistently been valued. My kid has made incredible memories for a lifetime here and I can’t fault them in the slightest! I’ve had some bad experiences with nurseries in the past for my older kid, however, our Co-op childcare centre has been absolutely remarkable in every sense of the word.

She comes home pretty knackered from a full-on, active day (excellent for a great night’s sleep!), chats about her buddies and clearly learns a lot.
Overall, especially through Covid times, it’s clear that the deputy manager and her team really care for the little people and are really attentive and supportive.
If I was being fussy, I’d adore more pictures in the app and a bit more consistency of the key worker but my little one doesn’t seem to care about either of those things and has a fantastic time at childcare centre – so that really is what matters, in my opinion. So highly suggest to those considering this childcare centre. My daughter goes to Co-op Childcare Day Childcare centre Sussex and has the best time.

The setting feels secure and excellent updates with the room team members. My son has consistently been cheerful to go to childcare centre and can’t wait to hear about his next adventures! Would suggest this childcare centre to friends and family, have consistently felt very welcomed by the team.

The attention to every kid is exceptional, the smiley welcome every morning, and the focus on each kid as an individual are all reasons why we adore it so much. It’s spotless, the food is excellent and the team really tune into the interests of the kids and build them into exciting, creative activities. Couldn’t suggest it more highly! We couldn’t ask for a better childcare centre for our daughter, she is so cheerful there.

She is enjoying her time there and we adore to see her develop, explore and learn new things. The team and management team are excellent and have been very supportive. The only thing we would like to see different is if we could receive more photos and updates of her day there, only because everything sounds so exciting. Our daughter has been attending the Co-op Childcare Day Childcare centre at Falmer since she was 14-months-old.

My son rarely looks back when he arrives, and that just makes me so cheerful because I know he’ll have loads of playtime with his friends. The fact that the childcare centre is open pretty much all year around (except weekends, Christmas and Bank holidays) really is excellent, as you don’t have to take annual leave during the normal half terms or other periods like such, which gives us a lot of freedom to schedule our preferred holiday time.
Premises security, to keep kids secure from outside strangers, was also something we were really concerned about, but the double doors at the entrance keep our peace of mind.
Just adore it, the team is excellent! I 100% suggest this childcare centre. I’m so cheerful with the childcare centre and all team are incredible and so welcoming.

The space is welcoming and they are consistently undertaking different activities. We couldn’t suggest it more highly. Outstanding childcare centre, excellent updates with parents, very great on developmental reviews, our daughter eats very balanced food whilst at childcare centre and they are consistently cheerful to resolve any issue that arises.

My daughter has settled in wonderfully and talks very enthusiastically about all the things she gets up to. I particularly value the environmentally welcoming focus of the childcare centre, the healthy food the kids are served but most importantly the team are incredibly compassionate and attentive and have become like a second family to my daughter. She couldn’t be happier there. My daughter was at a different childcare centre full time from aged 8 months – 4 years, and I moved her to the Co-Op Childcare childcare centre in January of this year as it is closer to home.

The setting is engaging, inviting and I sense that it supports my kids’s age-appropriate development (14-months and 3.5-years). The outside areas are the best I have seen at any childcare centre. I consistently sense secure dropping them off and look forward to hearing about their adventures when I collect them.
They have made strong bonds with both their carers and other kids. The range of activities on offer is incredible – enjoyable, creative and educational. I have recommended this childcare centre to a number of friends already. Oh, and the catering is excellent also. Outstanding childcare centre both for facilities and team.

As our kid was very young when the pandemic hit we were worried about her settling at childcare centre, yet we were silly to do so! The team and management reassured us and made our little one sense at ease, secure and secure. Since she has attended the setting she has grown in self‑assurance and has become much more sociable with other kids. The environments are welcoming and homely and practitioners are skilled and well‑informed in their roles. The menus are nutritional and balanced and adapt to dietary needs. I would highly suggest this childcare centre if they want their kid to be in secure hands! My daughter has attended the setting since August 2021 which was later than we intended due to the pandemic.

His key person is consistently available to talk and works together with us, as parents, to solve any issues. For example, when it was noticed that my son became overwhelmed by busy periods in the day, strategies were put in place that could be followed at childcare centre and at home creating a consistent approach, helping him to better cope in overwhelming situations.
I sense comfortable leaving my kid in their care and know that his individual needs are supported. They have healthy, nutritious meals with menus changing regularly for variety.
The childcare centre regularly hosts sessions for parents to attend on subjects relating to early years, such as speech and language development, and encourage parent involvement. I would highly suggest this childcare centre to prospective families. My son is consistently cheerful going into childcare centre and has made a real connection with the team there.

The team are fantastic and very experienced. The ethos is very kid centred and I adore the emphasis on linking nature and sustainability to kids’s discovering. My daughter is really thriving in this setting. Thank you so much! My daughter settled brilliantly at this childcare centre.

They pay close attention to all the types of individual needs of the kids and check in with the parents whenever needed. They have a nice outdoor area with many toys and many activities and resources in the rooms. In the preschool, they have a timetable, and structured discovering-through-playtime activities as well as free playtime time, and they even start reading and writing. They provide written feedback frequently and verbal feedback daily. The office and room team are all highly expert, competent and approachable in my journey. It is true that it may be slightly expensive compared to other places, but I think this is because the quality is very high and they provide everything you need such as nappies, food and sun cream. The reviews on this site seem to have improved over time so it seems that in the past few years they have improved the childcare centre, also in terms of looking after the team. I find this to be an outstanding childcare centre which has exceeded my expectations many times.
