Co-op Childcare Reading

The personnel are extremely professional, welcoming and look after the kids in the best possible way. In normal (pre-Covid) times the kids are taken to the park or nearby places though so they get to explore other places too. Our little one is thrilled to go to nursery setting every morning and is always interested in the activities they are doing. The only downside is the limited outdoor space but I feel it’s a good compromise to make compared to the overall care the kids get. I would definitely endorse Co-op Childcare to anyone looking for a kind nursery setting in town! Co-op Childcare Reading is a fantastic childcare centre and we are so pleased we decided to take our young lady there. She has developed so much during her time there and it’s exceptionally reassuring for us that she enjoys every single day.

Thank you to each and every one of the team at Co-op Reading. Throughout Covid the childcare centre has done its best to keep things as ‘normal’ as possible for the kids and having early‑years hub open since preceding June has been a wonderful piece of consistency in such a horrible year! Both our little ones cherish it, they are clearly well looked after and our kids treasure the personnel. We are so pleased with Co-op Childcare Reading.

We could not be happier at the Co-op Childcare Reading. Highly recommended! Our young lady absolutely adores it there and is thriving. The childcare centre team, both in her room and the others she’s been in, as she’s grown up genuinely support about the well-being of the kids in their attention and it is a relief to know she is safe and well looked after while we’re at work.

Generally, we are delighted about the nursery setting, in particular, the team in the baby room are fantastic but there are a few issues in the higher rooms: – It would be good if the little ones in higher rooms could have more outings beyond the garden as we were told when we signed up for this nursery setting. – Children should have the opportunity to brush their teeth after breakfast or lunch as recommended by dentists (twice a day after meals). – It is difficult for us parents to know how many portions of fruits and vegs the youngsters had during the day because the meal updates are usually brief and because we don’t know what they had for snack. It would be useful at the end of the day to know for each little one how many portions of fruit and vegs they had. Older kids (butterfly-pre-school) should be independent with this activity which would require minimal personnel supervision and parents can provide toothbrushes and toothpaste. Otherwise, their dental health is at risk which is not Ok.

Initially, we were exceptionally anxious about her nursery setting attendance, but the team in the baby room were extremely caring and accommodating. We can’t wait to see how they will enhance the exploring and playtime experiences of our kid and other kids in the early‑years hub. Her key worker was always responsive whenever we had any questions or concerns. We are excited about the newly refurbished sites in the early‑years hub. Her key worker was especially attentive and our little one felt exceptionally comfortable around her. Our girl started attending the baby room when she was 8 months old. Our daughter’s transition to Caterpillars was exceptionally smooth and we are delighted to see how she is progressing in her progress and making friends with other toddlers.

It is invaluable. Each room has so much interaction with my little one on a daily basis, she’s getting to know everybody and other kids. As a parent, there is no better assurance than dropping my youngster off and she runs into the arms of the crew happily waving bye to me. I know she is extremely well taken support of every day. The cost is high but considering what she gets from going here I would work 2 jobs if I had to. It’s not all about my youngster though as a first-time mum I sometimes struggle and the assistance that I receive too is second to none. I can’t put into words how satisfied I am with this nursery setting and all of the crew here. Her growth already she’s not even here a year yet. This is a second home for her, she has bonded with all the personnel in her room it’s so wholesome to see.

This really sets my mind at ease as with a childminder my girl was often given things she wasn’t allowed which then caused reactions. She has made an remarkable bond with the crew in her room, the management team are always on hand to help with anything, can’t fault it! My young lady started at the end of February and she is getting on really well, She settled really well, she has multiple allergies but the childcare centre has been exceptionally accommodating the kitchen is hygienic and organised and they have a fabulous colour-coded set-up for meal times so it is clear that there are no mix-ups of who is given what. Super pleased so far. I can’t wait to see the rest of her adventure here!

We’ve been so delighted with the early‑years hub. I’m always particularly impressed with how the pay so much attention to what the little ones are showing an interest in and then tailor activities to that interest. Our young lad absolutely enjoys it. Our whole family think the girls in the caterpillar room are fantastic!

Plus, they’re wonderful, kind, cordial and all-around great people that I couldn’t be more pleased are looking after my kid! Every single day the girls in the ladybirds and caterpillar rooms make such an effort with my girl. The girls in the ladybird room in particular take such a vested interest in her and her well-being and growth. You can tell by how excited my 15-month-old is to see them!
