January 17, 2017 at 12:00 amMy daughter went to this nursery from September 2015. Overall we are happy with our choice – close to our home, good staff and clean rooms. Food is vegetarian only and this is little bit confusing. All kids should wear nursery uniform and sometimes it’s very hard to consider child wearing what she doesn’t want.
A few times our daughter was returned wearing clothes of another girls. Be aware of a lot of holidays (Christmas, Easter and Summer) up to two weeks each + Bank holidays and training days.

August 10, 2018 at 12:00 amMy older son attended Clowns from Sept 2015 (aged 20 months) to August 2016 and my younger son from January 2018 (aged 19 months) to August 2018. Although they have each attended for a short time it has been a wonderful experience both times. They have both really thrived in the nurturing environment of the nursery and we have been extremely happy with the standard of care. We can’t fault any aspect of the nursery and we would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

March 13, 2020 at 12:00 amWe have two children currently in Clowns and genuinely couldn’t be happier. Our daughter Is in Manor House and our son is in the main nursery. We viewed 5 local nurseries but once we saw Clowns, it was really hard to settle for anything less.
Clowns is a well-oiled machine but with a big heart. The approach is proactive towards learning brought to life via a range of subjects and environments rather than simply ‘learning by play’; they teach via a progressive growth mindset. There are 2 sports coaches, a drama & a music teacher (I think they see each class roughly twice a week) which provides a lot of variety.
Some of the staff are fully qualified early years teachers which is rare in a nursery. The team have the warmth of family yet it’s an extremely professional organisation. The founder and head are extremely passionate about the children’s development and is very hands-on.
If you’re applying for selective schools, your child will be well prepared (but not pushed).
