The staff are amazing, always doing interesting and fun things and the kids are so happy.
It’s a wonderfully clean, caring and special environment and my daughter has gained so much confidence and skills from being there.
I can’t thank them enough for all their efforts.
It’s a great place.

January 20, 2023 at 12:00 amAll I can say is that I have been super impressed with the nursery since my son started here at 10 months old, he is now nearly 20 months.
My son loves nursery and goes in there every time with the biggest smile on his face and he comes home in the same way. He has really come on with his social skills and his ability to play with others.
The staff are always friendly and give me a well-informed update of the day he has had and any key developments that he may have happened.
Overall, I have been very happy with this nursery, their attitude, care and approach really works for us.

They have great, friendly staff who really connect with the children and the range of activities and areas for the children to play and learn are fantastic. I couldn’t imagine a better place for my kids to make friends and prepare for school.

January 23, 2023 at 12:00 amOverall, I am happy for choosing this nursery. The staff at nursery are supportive and take time to discuss the progress of my child on a day-to-day basis. The online portal also helps to get updates (with some cute pictures) frequently. I can see his confidence improved over the months and the skills (social and communication) he learned are amazing. I appreciate the management in providing nutritious food and the learning tools (indoor and outdoor) that helped him to learn faster.

January 26, 2023 at 12:00 amMy experience with Children 1st @ Toton Day Nursery has been fantastic, it’s a caring environment, very clean and the staff are professional, warm and friendly. My daughter loves going to nursery, I’m confident that she receives genuine support and encouragement from the staff, they do all kinds of fun activities together and we get regular updates and pictures to see how she’s getting on. Having had experience of a different nursery before Children 1st, I can see a huge difference in my daughter’s confidence and overall development since we joined last year.

February 3, 2023 at 12:00 amAll of the staff are brilliant with our son. He has developed no end and we are extremely appreciative.
He seems to eat well, play lots and again develop constantly.
The cost is the higher end but you get quality for it.
Our son has been bitten a few times which is life and to be expected but we haven’t been given any feedback on if it’s a repeat offender or if it’s one-off cases.
Updates are amazing but dwindled of late.

February 14, 2023 at 12:00 amMy son has attended the nursery for a few months and the staff in the units are lovely. He’s always really happy and he loves his keyworker. The nursery is very aesthetically pleasing and the variety of activities available for the children is great.
I don’t have a bad word to say about the staff at the nursery or the treatment of the children. However, the availability of additional days when required is limited. And the one time a request for an additional session was approved, it ended up costing £72 for a 10-hour day session which I was shocked about.
Overall, we are very pleased with the nursery.

March 4, 2023 at 12:00 amWe put our first child in Nursery here by the recommendation of friends who have sent 2 children here. I didn’t know what to expect and I am incredibly happy! The staff are so so lovely and friendly; I completely trust them with my son. He has come on leaps and bounds since going there and doing all of the activities. I am so impressed with all of the work the team do; couldn’t be happier.

They were really accommodating when my little one started due to me finding a new job and unsure of start dates etc.
It’s always clean, I’m impressed with the facilities for all age groups.
Staff all seem lovely and happy.
Would definitely recommend this place.

June 13, 2023 at 12:00 amLovely nursery with lovely staff, all children seem very happy to be there and staff are very welcoming. Regular updates on the app which is great and always give an update on collection. My child always enjoys her time there.

June 21, 2023 at 12:00 amVery happy with the nursery so far. They seem to do lots of activities with my 15 month old. One thing that would make it better would be to receive communications/photos via the app daily. Sometimes there are weeks where I don’t receive anything. When I am at work it would be nice to get a photo. Other than that the staff are very welcoming and friendly and we are having a great experience so far! Also very accommodating with early drop offs at late notice.

June 28, 2023 at 12:00 amWe have had such a positive experience with this nursery. My daughter is in the baby room and the staff have made us all feel so welcome. Everyone is just so friendly and happy! My daughter settled in really quickly and I love seeing pictures and videos of her smiling and babbling away. I know she is well looked after and I feel comfortable leaving her there. We had a look at a number of nurseries before deciding on this one and it really was the best decision we made.

June 30, 2023 at 12:00 amAmazing nursery, I recommend it to so many people! The staff are friendly, professional and approachable, they give great feedback each day. The rooms are kept clean and the resources are great.
Recently, we’ve attended Father’s Day stay and play in the baby unit and also graduation in the preschool room. The graduation ceremony was wonderful and I’m sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the house (parents and staff!) Each child was provided with a goodie bag of photo memories along with handmade keepsakes which were so thoughtful and will be treasured.
We are welcomed every morning with happy faces and both of my daughters love spending their days at nursery.
Thank you to all of the staff who work so hard to make it an amazing and happy place.

Each of my daughter’s key workers has been exceptional, taking the time and energy to get to know her and helping her to grow! One, in particular, in early years will have a special place in her memories!
Thank you to the early years team for a lovely graduation show/send-off as my daughter starts school. You did a great job!

I especially love that they try to treat each child as an individual and make every effort to meet their specific needs. My daughter’s thrived since starting – the development she’s made is remarkable and all thanks to the team.

My little boy has been going here since he was 2 and has been in a few different rooms during his time there and each one has been just amazing. The staff are exceptional, caring for the kids so well and being so kind and fun for them. Special shoutouts to two members of staff who our son has just adored his time with, and another member of staff who runs the early years team so well and works so hard. The management team are also brilliant, nothing is ever too much trouble. Just a five-star nursery all over!

July 6, 2023 at 12:00 amWe’ve had children at Children 1st @ Toton Day Nursery for five years now and I honestly can’t recommend it enough. We’ve been beyond happy with every stage of nursery, from the baby room up to early years. The staff are honestly amazing and both my little ones have loved it. My youngest is due to leave this summer and we’ll be sad to leave the nursery. The staff go above and beyond for the children and have made their first steps in education a fun and memorable experience. 5/5!

July 14, 2023 at 12:00 amAbsolutely fantastic nursery! Staff are all so friendly and are excellent at their job. I feel really confident leaving my children here knowing they are safe and cared for by the best staff who clearly love working with the children. I’m really sad that one of my boys will be leaving here to go to school soon as the staff in the pre-school room are so nurturing and friendly – I really couldn’t ask for a better place to send my sons. The graduation performance was so well organised and was such a lovely event so thank you to the staff for organising this! Honestly, you do not get this experience everywhere! Do not hesitate if you are thinking of sending your children here!
