April 5, 2021 at 12:00 amEveryone at the nursery makes my child so welcome. He has great relationships with all the staff members and loves his time at nursery. Staff are approachable and friendly at all times and are regularly available to talk to about any concerns or queries. The updated nursery looks inviting and provides my child with ample learning experiences and I’d recommend to anyone considering it for their child.

March 15, 2022 at 12:00 amI cannot praise this nursery enough! My son has thrived since starting last year, and they have welcomed him with loving, open arms. There is a real sense of care and thoughtfulness from all the staff, and I feel safe knowing he is well looked after, having lots of fun and developing essential skills.
The nursery is high quality and so clean. I have a happy son gaining independence, learning so much, and they really support him and help him. Thank you so much.

My son thoroughly enjoys his time at nursery and has developed his speech very well. The staff are lovely, friendly and professional at all times. I would highly recommend this nursery to family and friends.

March 15, 2022 at 12:00 amMy daughter started aged 10-months, and I was an anxious mess. The staff not only accommodated my daughter’s needs but mine too, often asking how I’m feeling with it all etc. They have been so flexible and adapting for her, allowing us to bring her sleeping bag and teddy from home for nap times, giving her a cuddle to sleep when needed, amongst other things – now at 15-months, she doesn’t need any of those steps to help her sleep as she’s so comfortable with them, she’ll just lay down and nod off. She loves it there, loves all the staff, and gets genuinely excited when I take her out of the car to drop her off. It’s a really lovely nursery.

March 15, 2022 at 12:00 amThis nursery is amazing. They’re always doing new, stimulating activities with the kids (and babies, I have 1.5 and 3-years-old enrolled). Both my kids get genuinely excited to go when it’s a “nursery day”! The carers are super friendly and energetic, and everyone from the chef to the carers have been amazingly accommodating for our kid’s allergies.

March 15, 2022 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been at Children 1st @ The Marina for almost a year now. She absolutely loves it there, and she is always excited to go to nursery. Her adaptation went very smoothly, thanks to the amazing team that assisted her. She has developed really well, and it shows how much the nursery has influenced it. She made lots of friends, and loves going to see her key workers and friends. She loves her dinners, and she is always interested to try new things (something that the nursery is always encouraging them to do). I would highly recommend this nursery, and I am really happy with all the staff, facilities, resources and activities here.

March 15, 2022 at 12:00 amThe staff are fantastic; they really brought on my daughter’s confidence. She now plays independently at home and loves playing with all the other children here. Our daughter goes into nursery smiling and waving to all the staff very happily and comes out equally happy after having such a fun day. She always eats her meals too, even if it’s something she would never eat at home, which is really encouraging.

My child loves attending nursery and undertaking all different types of activities such as painting, play-doh, crafting, singing, reading and much more! I am confident that my child is in a safe and fun environment whilst I am working. Would definitely recommend.

March 18, 2022 at 12:00 amI was a little sceptical about sending my little girl to nursery, especially as we didn’t get a chance to look around the nursery in person due to Covid. However, my little girl loves being there. She settled in really well and she loves the staff. When I drop her off the staff are so happy to see her and she’s happy to see them. When she is collected in the evening the staff always provide me with lots of detail about how she ate and what she’s been up to, which is really reassuring. We get photos and a daily log so we know what she has eaten and done that day, including how much she sleeps. I can highly recommend this nursery.

November 21, 2022 at 12:00 amMy son has been attending this nursery since he was a year old and is still going there at nearly 4. He loves going to nursery and happily runs in every day. He has so much fun and there are lots of activities and free play opportunities for him. They have also been great at catering to his dietary requirements. The staff have really helped his development and helped him to be more independent with building his confidence in doing tasks for himself. The staff are all lovely and friendly. You can tell they really care and enjoy what they do. We looked around a potential primary school recently and he seemed so ready and happy to start and I really think his experience at nursery has set him up well for starting school.

The communication we receive is clear and regular and the staff are so passionate about the care they deliver.

July 20, 2023 at 12:00 amMy daughter has just started at Children 1st @ The Marina Day Nursery, it’s only her second week but she seems to have quickly settled into nursery life. I chose this nursery due to the location and the recommendations of other families. From what I’ve seen, the children have a really good quality of care.

July 20, 2023 at 12:00 amWe have been really impressed and happy with the care provided by the nursery. Our son started settling in when he was 11 months old. It took a little while for him to be okay when I dropped him off (the staff were so supportive during this time, encouraging me to call to check that he had settled after I had left – he always had) but now he has the biggest smile when he realises he is going to nursery for the day!
The handovers at the end of the day are always great. I don’t know how the staff remember all the specific details about each child!
Our son has got to complete a great range of activities, such as painting, singing etc. They have lovely toys, lots of wooden toys at a level accessible to the child.
They are really accommodating with the food provided. Our son is following a gluten-free and vegetarian diet and he has varied meals and snacks.
Really happy with our choice to send him here.

July 20, 2023 at 12:00 amWe have been using this nursery since 2019, when my little boy started at 9 months and now my little girl is in her second year there and loves it. The staff are so kind and loving and I never worry, for one minute, about leaving my children, even on their first day when they were tiny. Every day when I pick my little girl up, she’s always happily playing with her friends and the staff and they also tell me about all the fun activities she’s been doing. Would highly recommend to everyone looking for childcare.

July 20, 2023 at 12:00 amMy daughter has come on in leaps and bounds and always has lots of fun, there are always lots of fun activities to choose from and the nursery staff have been very accommodating with my daughter’s vegetarian diet, making sure she always has similar options so she doesn’t feel left out. The communication is very good and I am always kept in the loop.

He always has a big smile on his face when we drop him off and he absolutely loves his days at nursery. All the staff are extremely friendly, approachable and take a genuine interest in encouraging his development. I can’t recommend this nursery enough.

It has helped massively with my child’s development and I feel that by being here, it has put him in good stead for when he starts full time school. Highly recommended.
