December 13, 2022 at 12:00 amAmazing nursery, all staff are very friendly and know what our child needs. Both of our children have attended and they are both much better off and well-prepared for the start of school. The staff are very caring and look out for each individual child’s needs and requirements. The facilities are excellent and offer a wide range of activities to suit all types of children. Our daughter skips into nursery knowing she is going to have fun all day surrounded by people who care about her, it makes leaving our child all that much easier. Great staff, people and facilities, I can’t praise Acorns enough.

December 21, 2022 at 12:00 amI have always felt comfortable leaving my children in the care of this nursery. They have been cared for, entertained, fed well and educated. This was a safe environment for my children. This was a safe environment for my children to develop new skills and friendships. Nursery has been a wonderful foundation for my children to build on. It has helped prepare them for school and the rest of their lives and I am very grateful.

December 21, 2022 at 12:00 amLovely nursery for my boys who still attend. The staff take good care of the children and take good care of the children and make sure all needs are met. Staff are very polite and always welcome parents.
The food prep and delivery is very good as both my boys have enjoyed their meals. Well looked after setting!

She has become a confident little girl and is excited every day to attend nursery-even asking to attend on a weekend. I can’t praise the staff enough for being so supportive and passionate in all that they do. I would definitely recommend this setting.

The staff are all warm, welcoming and approachable and my children have developed lovely bonds with them. The nursery rooms are bright, clean, lovely spaces and the early years barn particularly is an amazing space that my son loves. I’d highly recommend Acorns Upper Tean.

The facilities and resources are excellent and beneficial towards the children’s development. Everywhere is clean and finished to a high standard. They are always happy to support with every need and query that I may have. I continue to recommend this nursery to everyone.

That is a credit to the staff with their smiles on their faces every day and welcoming the children positively. One of my daughters role plays nursery every day at home and it’s lovely to see her reading to her friends and singing all the time. The outside area/barn is amazing and what they offer isn’t matching anywhere else, outstanding setting.

Our little girl, who is currently in the early years room, skips into nursery with a smile on her face and can’t wait to tell us about all the fun things she has done that day. Professional and friendly staff, great surroundings. Can’t think of anywhere else to send my child.

They are very kind and polite and show understanding and give advice when needed as my daughter has an intolerance to milk.

Our child loves going to nursery and settled in well in both age groups he’s been in so far.
Observation photos and updates on the website have become less frequent over recent months, these were always good to see but less posted since he’s moved up to the older group.
Overall, a great nursery. Keep up the good work and thank you!

July 20, 2023 at 12:00 amAll three of my children have attended this nursery and I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. The facilities are fantastic and staff are lovely. It’s expensive but you get what you pay for. Most importantly, their “open door” policy, for parents, gives me the confidence that my children and being cared for to a high standard.

July 27, 2023 at 12:00 amI have had both of my children at Children 1st Acorns nursery at different times during the last 7 years. I can honestly say that both children thoroughly enjoyed their time at Acorns, almost being disappointed when it was ‘Mummys day’ because it meant they wouldn’t be doing woodwork, splashing around outside, feeding the animals or playing with their friends that day.
This childcare setting is a true home from home environment and I am confident every day that my child is there, that they are being looked after, nurtured and loved. I would not send my children anywhere else and I am genuinely sad that come September we won’t be turning down the Acorns drive, and greeting all of the staff who not only know my child’s name, but his parents, his entire family and even his dogs name, where he’s recently been on holiday and his likes and dislikes. The staff at Acorns are an absolute credit to the childcare business and we will forever have fond memories of ‘nursery’.

I wouldn’t even consider another nursery, from the care my first child received (and still does) the nursery is so amazing in my opinion. You get what you pay for. The facilities, the staff, the food and care is always excellent. I feel confident they do the best by my children and the relationships made here I hope they continue to build on throughout their lives. Its helped with school transition and confidence in my children and cannot ask for anymore. Thank you to all the staff for keeping my babies safe and cared for.
