Child First Welbeck

Two of my children attend Child First Welbeck Day Nursery and we can’t rate them highly enough. Every single member of staff is fantastic and go above and beyond for all the children. Every day they’re doing something new and exciting, both my children go in and come out beaming. There’s only one word to describe it…perfect!

From the minute our son entered the nursery to have a look around, you could see how happy he was and how much he felt at home. All the staff are very welcoming and nothing is ever too much. Since joining the nursery our son has been a little under the weather but the staff have been so helpful and caring towards him, taking the time to make sure he is okay and updating his dad and me. They really do care. The setting at the nursery is very outdoorsy, with lots of planting vegetables, playing in the mud, painting outside and generally exploring which our son really loves. The app that is used for parents is so easy to use and you can see exactly what they have done with their day and at what time. Seeing the pictures when you’re at work really does make your day. I cannot recommend this nursery enough and we are only three weeks in.

My 21-month-old literally runs into his room! Proof to me of how much he loves the place and this is often confirmed when his staff comment about how much he loves his time there. I feel on top of the world when he comes home with his special pictures and handmade pieces. I collect him happy and often covered in all the activities he has enjoyed – which I absolutely love to see! I can see how much the staff care for my son but I also feel very welcome. They share information about my son and we work together to support his development! The grounds are a dream and the staff are always so positive – I’m half tempted to apply for a job there myself! Can’t thank them enough for the peace of mind they give me and couldn’t imagine my son going anywhere else. I think he’d still find his way and run through their door.

My daughter has been attending Welbeck Child First since January 2021. In addition, we did a few sessions with the nursery April-June 2020 as they offered a few sessions to key workers during the lockdown. It is a great nursery located in a beautiful estate surrounded by countryside with a lot of space to play outdoors. The nursery manager and the staff are very professional, approachable and adaptive. They create an encouraging and stimulating environment for learning and development. My daughter absolutely loves going there. I highly recommend Welbeck Child First.

My little boy (almost 2) started at the nursery at the beginning of July and we are so pleased we chose Child First. He has settled straight in and can’t wait to go in and play. The staff are very friendly and we love that the nursery focuses so much on outdoor play in all weathers. Other nurseries in the area feel sterile, Child First is set on stunning grounds and has a lovely rustic feel. The updates from the nursery throughout the day via the app are a lovely touch and we look forward to receiving them each day. Highly recommend to all parents!

The staff have been amazing and have gone above and beyond to support my child. My child has attended for a number of years and I would recommend the nursery to anyone. The outdoors space and the freedom they have to explore are amazing and I haven’t seen any other nursery like it in the local area. They hold amazing events to involve the parents such as a summer bbq and keep you updated on what activities and progress your child is making.

My daughter has been attending Child First Welbeck for nine months now and is flourishing in her confidence and development. The staff have been amazing at understanding her individual needs (including a complex autoimmune condition and multiple allergies) and catering for her. She is happy, smart and formed close bonds with her first and second key workers. She loves the time outdoors, the interactive activities and always comes home with a big smile on her face. We are so glad we found this nursery.

The staff at Child First Welbeck Day Nursery go above and beyond for the children, they have lots of fun through play and singing and we, as a family, love it. Any issues ever raised are always rectified or responded to very quickly and the staff do a wonderful job!

My daughter has been going since she was 8 months old and absolutely loves it. I felt comfortable leaving her in their care and now she’s 18 months and running around, it’s nice to see she has so much freedom to play and learn in and outside. The staff really care about the children and build strong relationships with them which helps the children feel safe and secure.

When looking for a nursery for my son, I wanted two things: for them to provide him with experiences I couldn’t do at home and to care and love him like I do. This nursery ticks both boxes! My son started at 9 months and he has settled in so well and that is down to the staff there. I cannot speak more highly of them and they have made the whole family feel welcome. The nursery has so many opportunities for children to learn through play and the staff will do anything to help families, whether it’s with sleep, eating or finances. I can see that by the way they interact with my son and take the time to speak to myself about his day, that they genuinely care for him and, as a working mum, that is so reassuring. I could not be happier with my choice of nursery.
